Smooth and easy
I needed to lease a laptop to replace my old, broken one for a few months. They're one of the few companies that are confident enough to actually display prices on their website, which made them an easy choice.
The process of actually obtaining the laptop was as smooth as it can be given the constraints (they're a regulated financial company, so there are some rules). No complaints so far, I'd pick them again if they carried the model I needed.

Outstanding service
Outstanding service! I paid for a 3 months plan on an IPhone 14 which was great, the phone newly boxed and even came with a free tempered glass. I decided to extend the contract to a further 3 months and 6 months later everything is still working without any issues and their customer service is exceptional!

Beware "Accidental Damage"
XBox series X stopped working less than a year into the contract. Sent back in line with the returns process only to be told it was a damaged HDMI port which is classed as "accidental damage" and the repair was chargeable. Have been quoted £267.05 initially, then £320.46 for the repair which needs to be paid before they send the console back.
This is despite publishing "excess repair costs" on the website of £139.20 for the same console. (see "repair costs")
Its just really unclear what is classed as "accidental" and a license to print money when they hold the product and you're legally obliged to continue paying the rental payments.

We are sorry about the negative experience you had with us.
To clarify a few points: hardware faults are covered by our warranty, but not accidental damage. Having looked at the console, our repair partner advised us that this HDMI damage was accidental and not a manufacturer fault.
Regarding the repair costs, we quoted the amount costs ex VAT(£267 ex VAT = £320.46 incl VAT), which is where the confusion probably comes from. This is something we will make sure to make clearer to communicate more clearly going forward.

Amazing and very easy to place the order and was sorted out with two day and delivered on time and the customer service are easy to talk and every time I have need there support that have help and got in thing sorted with in one phone call

Absolute brilliant service
Absolute brilliant service. I was very impressed with the speed of the credit check as well as the prompt timing of my MacBook delivery. Tash was also amazing with the customer service and handled all my enquiries professionally. Definitely recommending Ooodles to many more of my friends for sure.

Hi I've been renting a product and all of a sudden it came across accedental damage. I'm now left with a fee to pay for the item, which is absolutely OK, however as I am still in contract I must pm for two years without no product replacement. So appalling. This is not a service this is a corrupt money making business.

We apologise for the unpleasant experience you had, and we're aware that you contacted our customer services department yesterday regarding this matter. According to our rental agreements, customers are responsible for any accidental damage, including in this situation.
We have made an exception and agreed to arrange a payment plan for the repair cost in this particular case. However, we are unable to provide a replacement until the repair expenses are at least partly covered.
While this solution may not resolve this specific issue, we have begun offering insurance to our business customers and plan to extend this service to individual customers in the future.
