Great service, excellent website

The service response was immediate, competant and very helpful. The agent was able to resolve my questions in a matter of minutes, without waiting times or confusion.
The Agent Leo C. was really professional, helpful and knowledgable.
In general, the website is very user friendly and skillfully excecuted.

Lousy company

Who is this Leo C guy that is paying for positive comments? These guys are hilarious. Let them shut down, don't buy from these scammers, they take no responsibility from their ads. They pay no compensation after bringing up their illegal policies

Edit: despite several follow ups you still do not care about providing false statements about the descriptions that the company provide. If you also think that it is normal to sell vehicles with mechanical issues and disregarding issues, you have to assume that you are scamming. So no, you are not transparent, run away people.

Your initial claim was unfortunately received 15 days after delivery, which falls outside the time limits stated in our Terms and Conditions — claims must be submitted within three working days after delivery and before driving more than 100 km. For that reason, the request could not be accepted in accordance with our procedures.

Regarding your second request for the service documents, our team did investigate and reached out multiple times to the seller. Unfortunately, despite several follow-ups by our colleague, the seller has not provided the missing documentation so far. As OPENLANE Europe operates as a B2B Marketplace, we act as an intermediary between professional sellers and buyers — we do not own the vehicles ourselves, and therefore depend on the seller’s cooperation to obtain such information.

We sincerely regret that these circumstances have left you dissatisfied. We assure you that your feedback has been shared internally, as improving seller responsiveness and communication remains one of our ongoing priorities.

Perfect customer support! Right after registrating, I have got a call from a very kind lady who introduced herself and the processes from the company. After I had a question and chatted with Leo, who eas extremly polite and helpful - and very very quick. 5 stars!

A big scam!

A big scam! I bought a car from them and although they presented it as being ok, without any problems in addition to what was presented on the website, when the car arrived it had warning lights on the dashboard that we were not informed about and hidden defects worth approximately 4500 Euros. Although I purchased the Optimo package, and according to their inspection the car was declared to be without technical problems, and I brought them findings from the authorized service and agreed by them according to which it is clear that the car had hidden defects, they do not want to compensate anything. It is a clear deception and a scam! Be careful what you buy and where!
And openlane reply is fake, the claim id is different. Total lie

be very careful

be very careful, it does not indicate enough information to know the condition of the car, nor the mechanical condition, you have been working with auction for almost 7 years I was thinking of switching to a better one, but OPENLANE I think is the worst. I bought 2 cars from them, one came hit by hail and another with engine noise. I do not recommend buying from here.

We work with a lot of different auction…

We work with a lot of different auction houses, but Open Lane really stands out as the best. The customer service is amazing, always super friendly, professional and quick to help. The platform is easy to use, works smoothly and makes the whole process simple.
