The glasses they sent are the wrong prescription. The glasses are to be light responsive in the sunlight. They do not change color in the sunlight. I have requested a refund and a return label. They have provided neither a return label or a refund. I have gotten the run around from this company.

Follow Up:

Since my last posting I have had the glasses tested by an optometrist. The prescription is off in both lenses by 0.25 and the PD is off by 2.5 in one lens and 4.0 in the other lens. I emailed this document to Optical Factor, requesting a refund and a prepaid return shipping label. Two days later Optical Factor offered to refund me $8.00 and ship me a new pair of glasses. In previous emails trying to get a refund from Optical Factor I stated that I had to purchase a pair of glasses elsewhere, that I want a full refund and I did not want or need Optical Factor to make me a replacement pair of glasses.

DO NOT ORDER GLASSES FROM THIS COMPANY.

The 1.7 out of 5 rating feels completely justified based on my experience.

I bought prescription safety glasses from this company and after just five months one of the arms snapped. These were not even used heavily, as I only work part time, so normal wear and tear does not explain the failure.

When I contacted customer service, I was told the glasses are only covered by a two month guarantee. For safety glasses, that is extremely poor and suggests very little confidence in their own products.

They then offered a 35 percent discount as a “gesture of goodwill”. This is the same discount they advertise all year round. After I pointed this out, they increased it to 40 percent, which is only five percent more than what everyone already receives anyway.

It genuinely feels like the permanent 35 percent offer is simply built into the pricing, making the discount meaningless. Offering it as compensation instead of taking responsibility for a faulty product comes across as disingenuous.

Between the short guarantee, the lack of durability, and what feels like marketing spin rather than real customer care, I would not recommend buying from them.

Glasses were cheap and uncomfortable.

They wanted me to go to independent shop and verify installed prescription and get a written report. When I suggested that was an impractical request because it would cost me money and time.

Do not order glasses from this company! ordered the glasses in early NOVEMBER 2025. I just received them January 2026. Never ordered glasses online before, but I liked the frame. When I received them and tried them on, they were too small for my face. I reached out to send them back and they would not allow me. Other places I looked at offered replacement or refund.

They just don't know what they are doing.
Communication is pathetic
Quality is cheap
Delivery takes forever
And to top it up they screwed up my prescription and they will not refund me.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T BUY FROM THESE AMATEURS.

This company is a fraud and their return policy is a lie.
I got a brand new prescription from an eye doctor, and ordered some new sunglasses from Opticalfactor.com. The prescription is off and I can't use the sunglasses because I'd probably get a headache if I wore them an extended time.

I sent them a detailed email explaining the issue and asking for an RA number to return them and I am now on about my 6th email reply of them just asking more and more questions. They even DEMANDED I send them a photo of my other sunglasses, as if that has anything to do with the pair I ordered from them. They are refusing to give me an RA number to return these and claim they are trying to "solve" my problem. No amount of questions is going to "solve" the problem of lenses that are not correct. Basically, their return policy is that they will try to wear you down with questioning until you give up.

I am not giving up. I have all the emails and am just going to file a dispute with my cc company and force them to return my money. No amount of savings is worth the hassle. I promise you.

Lastly, the reason the glasses are so cheap is because the frames are the same quality as you'd find at a 7-Eleven store for $10. They are as cheap as it gets.

I sent my glasses back to optical factor on September 2025. It was received in china on October 3rd. The return package was cleared. Now it December and still no refund. I want to let people know the truth about this company. Horrible customer service. Very slow on delivery. They ask you to try to wear glasses that you’re not happy with and tell you to move them up and down. Stay away from this company so you can spare yourself the headache. I wished I would have disputed the charge.

Glasses defective and returned them. Optical Factor claimed they never received the return, although I could confirm delivery. Package eventually came back to me and was marked refused after I had spent over $20 dollars to ship. They went out of their way to not issue me a refund. Crap company and would highly avoid.

I received my glasses in a timely manor and all correspondence has been great. I ordered some glasses in July 25 and 4 months later 2 of the 3 clipons are broken. I'm guessing the remaining clipon will break soon.

I gave them 2 stars because the customer service was good at least for response.

Ordered glasses paid for them. But never got them. Filed with my bank about charges. They lied my bank said received them. So out money and no glasses. So somewhere else.

Do not order from this company. They ship from China. If you want to do a return, the require you to ship back to China - which is cost effective. They do not care if your order is done correctly or not. They are not interested in customer satisfaction. You are better off to buy from somewhere else, like Amazon.

I contacted them nearly a month ago & provided ALL information with a copy of my optical prescription. nearly a month later & write to them to ask where are my glasses & I received pathetic one sentence replies - no Dear Sir, no signature at the bottom, no company logo etc. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHEAP RUBBISH COMPANY - NOTE 80% 1* REVIEWS SAY IT ALL

Well, I bought an initial pair of glasses from them with no problems. A year later I bought 2 pairs of the same sports glasses, with the same prescription that has not changed. They arrived and something was off, I have contacted them and they stated that I input my prescription wrong, I enter a PD of 66.5 instead of 65. Since I buy from other vendors glasses and have never had a problem, I stated this could not be possible especially to enter 3 digits instead of 2 for PD. Their answer " sorry of the inconvenience". You gave a 50/50 chance that they get your prescription correct and their satisfaction guarantee is to do nothing. BUYER BEWARE....

They deserve a zero, the place is terrible. They promised glasses in 7 to 15 days, but glasses came a month later. They used Speedx as a carrier and they are as bad as optical factor. The glasses are cheap and your prescription is bound to be messed up. Do not buy from them!

Ordered Polarized Blue mirror sunglasses paying an extra $84 US for the lenses - Got gray lenses with very sub-standard polarizing layer that appears to be put on as an after thought - see photo attached when compared to a real blue mirror polarized lenses held up to computer screen. Customer support says it was my fault but the reality is the Optical Factor website is useless and the English, images and descriptions are totally misleading. They refused to refund me. Be warned.

What an absolute piece of shit company. I didn't do enough research, I was too curious about the cheap price. They offered 35% off the already cheap price, so I definitely should have known better, but that's what got me. First off, it didn't take my 35% off when I pressed order. I should have known then. Then They took a while to get here, so I started researching. Yes I know... Lol. Anyway that's when I learned they were from China!! Wtf!?!? Yes, China... I immediately started inquiring about my discount. And have been promised repeatedly that "the proper people have been notified... Rrrrriiiiiiiiggghttttttt... The glasses are what you'd expect. I got the wrong ones, and they're cheap garbage. In conclusion, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I ordered a pair of security glasses on October 1st 2025 and got them the 23rd. When I order at my local optician it took 2 to 3 weeks to be ready too, so I can't complains about speed when you know they had to go from China to Canada. Price was fairly cheap, I ordered "Armorglaze Prescription ANSI Z87.1 Safety Glasses with Single Vision Photochromic (Light-Responsive) Lenses" for less than 100$ with the shipping.

The quality is good, I wore them whole weekend while doing woodworking and I really liked them and they were really confortable.

I saw a lot of bad really bad experiences, but I was too curious to test so I give it a shot and I will definitely recommend them again. I had questions during the process and got answers within 24h, again they are not in the same timezone so I did not expect conversation to be fluid but they were good anyway!

Cycling glass sent were very cheap quality and wrong prescription. would not believe me and would not give refund. Had glasses made a week later with same prescription at local opticians and they were perfect. Do Not buy from this seller in China. Complete rip off.
