Awful service!

Awful service!
For months I was waiting for an opportunity to go to the shop, which is the other side of London. I couldn't be more disappointed. The sales lady was so stand-offish I had no motivation to buy anything from her. It all seems also overpriced for jewellery that isn't solid gold, but I would have gone for a pair of earings if the service was nicer. She was doing me a favour even standing there. No thank you - not returning, and don't send me your newsletters either.

Poor quality and no help from customer services

A year ago I spent £360 on 2 gold plated name bracelets. The gold is wearing off in the end links of the names, and I have had far cheaper gold plated jewellery far longer with no issues at all. Told via email I would have to pay £30 per bracelet to replate the gold, which is a huge concern for me that this is going to be a yearly cost if they can’t even withstand one year. My 2 bracelets also came in slightly different gold tones which I thought was odd, and one has bent as it’s slightly longer name wise. No reply though via email when I questioned the quality of the product. I won’t buy from this company again, considering that the product quality seems very poor for the extortionate cost. A real shame as the bracelets are really lovely, just the plating and customer service that lets it down. I’m now left with £360 worth of jewellery that I hesitate to wear and that look quite cheap as they’re wearing away.

Update - the company did reach out and offer to replate them, I was pleased with this outcome and hope this will mean they are like new

To clarify, our gold vermeil consists of a thick layer of 14k gold over sterling silver, which provides a beautiful and brilliant color. However, please note that since it is not solid gold, it may be vulnerable to wear from factors such as frequent use, rubbing against other jewellery, and exposure to water, hand lotions, and other liquids or chemicals.
We offer a one-year warranty on all our products, which includes complimentary replating or repairs. We are glad to have assisted you in resolving this issue when reached out to you.

Poor quality

Poor quality - had a topaz ring from here for several years and one of the stones has fallen out - contacted customer services and they were very unhelpful stating that i should contact a local jeweller as they are unable to source the stone - although several of their pieces still have it. Not very happy when it states its lifelong jewellery.

poor quality

My husband bought me a necklace for my birthday which had charms of my children names costing over £300.
We had an issue with one of the charms bending and had to send it back to be remade, it took nearly 2 months for them to send this back to me which was the first problem.
I’ve now noticed the new charm is a totally different colour to the other one, you’ve now refunded for that one charm but now I don’t have one with my daughters name on.
So now I’m having to send back my necklace and sons name charm as the gift is pointless if it’s doesn’t have both my children’s names on.
Just a very frustrating situation which has been going on for 7 months and although I can’t wear the necklace now it makes me a little sad that I’m having to send it back with my children’s names on to be disposed of.

Awful service

Received an email stating that the earrings my partner wanted were back in stock. Went on website and it said same day dispatch if ordered before 12. Placed order. Then received an email saying the order won’t be shipped for 2 weeks. V poor, I’ll get on to my credit card company and cancel the order.

Don’t bother - company don’t acknowledge consumer rights

I was sent a personalised faulty pendant (Otiumberg have acknowledged this), however I am continually being refused a refund.
Otiumberg keep reiterating their policies, however policy cannot override law. I am now £120 out of pocket with no product (has been returned for them to inspect) despite this being sent back A MONTH AGO. Avoid!!!

Great experience choosing my wedding jewellery

I was given a necklace from Otiumberg as a gift, which I absolutely loved, so decided to check out their ear-ring range for my wedding day.

I visited the studio and was able to try on different pieces which really helped give me an idea of how they would look with my dress. Tessa was super helpful throughout and was on hand to make suggestions and answer any questions. Great customer service and an amazing selection of ear-rings - it was so difficult to pick just one pair! Otiumberg is definitely my new go-to jewellery brand for more special pieces :)

Beautiful product and excellent customer service

I ordered the gold heart earrings for my wedding. Unfortunately the first pair were faulty but the Otiumberg team were responsive and friendly, the return was smooth and my refund issued efficiently. I ordered the earrings again on pre-order and contacted the team to explain the situation to see if they could facilitate delivery in time. They were brilliant, communicated when the earrings were being finished in the workshop and upgraded me to next day delivery. The earrings arrived in time (complete with a lovely hand written note) and were absolutely perfect! Understated but so special, I will have them forever. Thank you!

I fell in love with this brand at the…

I fell in love with this brand at the Soho Farmhouse in the UK, and now it's my go to for ALL jewelry for myself and for gifts. Love their unique pieces, and the fact that i have a nickel allergy i often find it hard to shop for "non-fine" jewelry; now i have my solution.

I bought my first pair of everyday…

I bought my first pair of everyday vermeil hoops a while back and have never taken them out. Zero tarnishing or signs of wear. So entranced by their beautiful, delicate and interesting pieces, I have had 5 new piercings in order to wear more. The ethical sourcing of materials is an added bonus and my recent customer service easily qualifies for 5 solid gold stars.

Bad quality earrings

Wouldn't recommend purchasing from them.

I spent £100 on a pair of gold hoops from them 18 months ago (thinking that the price = good quality), and one of the earrings recently broke (through no fault of my own) rendering the pair unwearable. I've probably worn the earrings a handful of times over their lifespan, so it's not like I've had much use out of them.

I reached out to see if they could replace the broken earring, but all they would offer is 15% off a new pair.

I've had Primark earrings that last longer than this. It's really disappointing as a repeat customer who has bought multiple items from them.

Our 1 year warranty covers rare faulty orders but unfortunately as we are a small business we are unable to offer replacements for general wear and tear or accidents with your jewellery.

As the bar/ endless closure has been entirely snapped off we are unable to fully repair the hoop to its original beautiful condition. We understand that this is frustrating, but our team would like to offer you 15% off a new single or pair of hoops despite being outside of your 1 year warranty.

Amazing customer service!

Such an amazing company with great customer service. I had an issue with my piece and they organised paid shipping all the way to the UK from Australia - all I had to do was drop the necklace in a parcel around the corner. They then mailed me a replacement incredibly quickly and had great communication the entire time. I will definitely shop here in the future.
