Efficient, explained everything and my inner porch composite door and side glass panel looks amazing. It replaced an old 1970's/80's wooden one that wasn't very efficient on keeping heat in. The new d... See more

Truly a great local company combined with great after sales service. Had porch and front doors installed a few years ago, after contacting Otter Windows, John Capon a man all knowing in this field, promptly arrived and corrected both problems in a true professional manner. I can not rate this company high enough and have recommended them many times.

I unreservedly recommend Otter Windows. From the time, John Capon made the initial assessment until the final fitting of a conservatory door, window and replacement panel, the response by this Company was most professional. Particularly impressive was the manner in which Debbie represented the Company and the skilled and very competent manner in which Dillon completed the work.

We had trouble with the front door and I phoned Otterwindows and John Capon came and fixed it. I would recommend this Company for prompt attention and found him to be very courteous.

John Capon from Otter Windows came out and fixed a door we could not open.
He went out of his way, nothing was to much trouble.

Needed help from Otterwindows for window that wouldn't shut, and another with a loose handle - both of which were installed about twenty years ago. Spoke with John Capon, who volunteered to call round in twenty minutes! He had both issues fixed in an amazingly short time. Professional, friendly and absolutely outstanding. Highly recommended!

We had a little wait due to their supplier issues but I am really pleased with the end result. The old windows had been poorly fitted and trimmed but didn’t need to worry as they ensured they trimmed them to cover up the previous mess left on the brickwork. Thank you Team Otter I am delighted with them.

Always ready to help, John Capon called today to remedy a recurring problem with a window latch which, since installation, has caused a few problems. John has been helpful throughout..it was he who managed the original work over 11 years ago, and his cheerful and efficient support is much appreciated.

Some years ago, Otter fitted our front door. Over time, it had suffered several surface marks. John Capon worked on the door with his refurb kit, at no cost, and now the door looks like new. Good service.

Been trying to contact this company for a month and no one answers the phone or respond to voice mail left on answering machine. Can anyone advise on how to get answers without wasting time going to the shop.?

Rubbish I have phoned phoned twice about a problem and there is always an excuse why they haven’t rung back, rang 3 weeks ago still waiting, wouldn’t ever buy from them again and wouldn’t recommend them

Replacement window at reasonable cost. Good quality item bought from helpful and efficient people keeping me informed and although delayed, by one week due to glass delivery dela, still fitted in less than a month from order.

We are lucky enough to have a view across fields and down the coast. Whilst our six year old house has contemporary upvc windows the doors opening into the garden from the sitting room were rarely opened.
We felt replacing them with a single sheet of glass would both enhance our enjoyment of the view and allow even more light into the room. In addition we decided to replace the kitchen windows with a clear pane in the centre.
The representative - John Capon - was knowledgeable and gave sound advice as to what would and would not work
The quotation he gave seemed good value for money and the time scale more than acceptable.
In the event the timescale was beaten, the windows were fitted perfectly by two professional and courteous tradesmen. Debbie at base ops was extremely helpful and ensured we knew what to pay and when.
The view through both windows is fantastic!
All in all, highly satisfactory!

a) Otter Windows Ltd Honiton supplied and fitted double glazing windows and doors in October 2010.
b) October 2017 I telephoned the company to report a gap between one window and the window frame. A director visited a few days later and stated that the window had dropped and it would be a simple procedure to repair. I requested if a door handle could be replaced at the same time.
c) Call 2. Two weeks had passed and no engineer. I was informed that the fault was in the system and they would telephone for a convenient date.
d) Call 3. End October and no communication. Telephoned and was informed that they were awaiting a new door handle.
e) Call 4. One week later telephoned once more as no response. Informed still awaiting door handle.
f) Call 5. Mid November and no response. Telephoned and was informed I had not been forgotten and would call back later that day with details. No return call.
g) Call 6. End November and no response. Telephoned and met with same response.
h) Call 7. One week later no response. Changed tactic and asked if the door handle had indeed been ordered yet? Reply not clear but believed to be so. Would call back later that day. No call back.
I) Call 8. Mid December. Assured that the door handle had been ordered.
j) Call 9. Happy New Year but when will you complete the repairs?. I had purchased a roll of draught excluder to patch up the gaps. Not a pretty sight but at least stopped the wind and rain. Promised a call back still waiting.
k) Call 10. What is happening? Same response as previous. Stated that I give up and can only resort to Trustpilot.
