Terrible pain in my arm after blood was taken. Then passed out in the coffee shop about 20 minutes later.
Arm so painful I haven’t slept and have not been able to work since having it done last Friday and it has come up in a terrible bruise.
I’m not sure the staff have had sufficient training to do the blood tests.
Horrible experience.

Boris Johnson hypocrisy at its best .

This Companies leading directors and advisers were both key share holders in Roche and the covid vaccine advice purchasing . John Bell had nearly a million in shares . Having been severely criticised for his underhand profiteering he has now moved to OUR FUTURE HEALTH . Trustworthy ? Not at All.

Efficient service and happy to take part

Nurse was friendly, welcoming and competent. She explained everythng she did and there were no surprises as I had read the accompanying notes before I attended.I have worked in the NHS for 40 years and myself and my parents have all needed emergency surgery on the NHS, this was a small way of giving back. Not sure what all the suspicion is about!

Waste of time

Waste of time. I visited the Boots store in Bristol to have my blood taken, arrived late for my appointment but instead of being turned away, I waited nearly an hour before being told they couldn't take the appointment. Even though they had no shows in the time. Zero communication.

Curious.

Curious.
The invite to submit personal details, to be followed by an appointment to assess ones condition.
Only to discover appointments, only available miles away from ones location.
It appears to be in consort with NHS.
Yet 3 large NHS facilities within 3 mls. Have no awareness of this program.
Some suspicion of its intention occurring.
Since the NHS Online site, has all this information against ones NHS Ref/Registration #. Anyway.

Unfit clinic resulted in the first and only seizure of my life

Had my appointment in a boots and explained I'm hit and miss with blood tests. I have been told my veins are deep and thin and thos had resulted in many failed attempts and bad experiences. No idea of the credentials of the "nurse"? who ran my appointment. There was no tourniquet for my arm, just tape pulled around my bicep. Despite my explanations she seemed incredibly optimistic only to immediately say aloud "oh dear" after failing to draw blood and I fainted. There was no bed in the cubicle. I came to and felt as if my temples were being crushed. When I regained consciousness I learned I'd been unconcious for nearly a minute and stopped breathing, a member of the public was holding me up and the panic button had been pressed twice yet no one had come. I also heard that this had happened at least 2 times prior and no one had come. I was never laid down, just kept sat up in my chair. It is common knowledge that legs should be raised above the head to get blood flowing back to the head when someone faints. I should never have been left dat up. This could have caused me serious damage over a stupid test.
I was put on a bed in the back of house. The shop is so ridiculously hot I can't even shop in there. It's not fit to be a clinic. A member of the pharmacy was told to stay with me until my friend arrived to which he replied "but what if there's a queue at the tills?". He was utterly useless. Once my friend did arrive I was violently sick. The staff member couldn't have run quicker if he tried and the manager seemed more focused on cleaning the floor than ensuring I was OK. I didn't care how I felt at this point I didn't want to be in this building anymore with these incompetent people.
I contacted Our Future Health after this experience and was informed I'd recieve a response within 45 days. Of course, no response. I have chased them on this and only recieved a pathetic apology and that they're working on it.
Honestly one of the most upsetting experiences I've had and the pure negligence of Our Future Health is astounding. I feel at a complete loss as to what to do but I do not feel this Boots clinic is safe.

Went for the testing 24 July 2024

Testing 24th July. Lady doing Tests was NOT a Nurse! Blood could not be taken -I had a Canula a few days prior. I was told I WOULD still receive the incentive. I completed the Survey after Attending - lengthy process! Still NOT received my Voucher. Emailed and telephoned Future Health several times. To be told there is a Back Log and they will get in touch with me! They never have? Very unprofessional Company. Called into Boots to confirm - re the blood test- not being able to be taken. Confirmed I still should receive the Voucher. Boots telephoned company,- to no avail. They very busy and opening up more Centres! Boots have no control over these units? I would not return. I would not suggest you get tested either. My honest opinion. Thank you

Happy to be involved with future health research

Went to the mobile clinic near tooting lido for my appointment. Quick and easy. I was so happy, Elizabeth, one of the trained staff managed to take my bloods without any problems. I've been butchered many times and told I've got very thin veins!! Elizabeth carried out all the necessary tests and readings quickly and efficiently. She was friendly and explained how the results were going to be used for research. £10 voucher I will donate to Future research charity.

Wrong cholesterol readings provided

Wrong cholesterol readings provided - by a huge margin! I went straight to my GP and got another test - OFH - cholesterol 5.74 - GP test 4.5 OFH triglycerides 5.24!! ( heart attack figures) GP 0.8.
The worry caused by OFH as a result was horrendous. Very dismissive when called to raise this as a concern. My worry is already busy GP’s will be getting more requests from patients to have bloods retaken.

Extreme organisation

Decided to join, got to step 1 and found the questions extremely Woking.
Decided the scheme was not for and to withdraw.
That appears to be an impossible task. I complete the withdrawal on line then told to phone them. I am told to login again. Going round in circles.

Poor reception

I was given an appointment at the Evesham Centre. I arrived at a large caravan ahead of my appointed time. The directions to the Centre, which was at the end of a long car park, were non-existent. There was a reception desk just inside the door. The receptionist was doing something particularly interesting on her mobile and ignored me for several minutes. When she spotted me she asked my name which she seemed to find difficult to comprehend. When we got over that hurdle she took an envelope off a pile, gave it to me, and told me to take seat. There was no explanation as to what the envelope was for so I opened it and found a form with questions about measurements, many of which I had filled in on-line. Was I supposed to fill the form in again? I didn't have a pen so before I had time think too much about it a nurse called me in to a cubicle. Then it seemed the nurse should have called someone else before me. When that problem had been sorted the process was very easy and the nurse was very pleasant and explained everything very clearly.
I have given three stars because I feel that the receptionist failed completely. There was no pleasant welcome with a smile just a sullen look. When I give my time to something like this, pleasantness should be high on the receptionists agenda.

Absolute waste of time. Avoid like the plague.

Absolute waste of time. Wife and I completed the online survey and booked the appointment with Boots for the blood test etc. The only available Boots was in Ipswich town centre so we drove into town for this. Only 36 minutes before the appointment we both got texts to inform us that our appointments had been cancelled. This was too short notice as we were already heading into town and did not read the texts until after we had parked the car so we wasted time, petrol money and car parking fees. We were so annoyed that we went into Boots anyway to discuss. The Our Future Health staff member was there faffing about and informed us that he had done 2 appointments already but all others were cancelled for the day. He refused to give a reason. We informed him that they had wasted our time and money and that we would not be rebooking. The whole experience has been a complete waste of time as they do not even have the decency to give at least an hours notice that our appointments had been cancelled. The least they could do is to reimburse us for our wasted time and money.

Requires altruism

This is a legitimate and worthwhile project and it requires participants to have an altruistic attitude. The many negative comments motivated me to research the project thoroughly. I went ahead and my visit went very smoothly. If you want to help the transition to a technology and data led health service that focuses on identifying health risks before they affect our quality of life then go ahead and get involved.

A worthwhile experience

It took a month or so to find a clinic in easy travelling distance. Once found, a twenty minute bus ride and the clinic quickly booked me in. The whole thing was over in under twenty minutes and I was told my blood sugar and cholesterol levels were fine - very reassuring. I am informed that GPs are too busy to do these checks and booking an appointment is near impossible with the new on-line booking service. Nothing can beat a check up by an experienced GP who can often spot hidden health issues. However this service is still worthwhile signing up for as it can pick up a variety of health problems like blood pressure, sugar levels and high cholesterol. It would be better if the results were sent to your local GP practice, however given data protection regulations, this is probably a big ask

I would keep well away

I would keep well away. This is essentially a fishing exercise for pharmaceuticals et al that the NHS has unsurprisingly lent its logo to so that a few NHS consultants can get some more cash. These organisations hide behind 'charity' or 'foundation' labels but, essentially, they want your private information for their own purposes which aren't really going to be altruistic.
