Good afternoon,
Unfortunately due to high levels of fraud on returns with ring doorbells all serial numbers are now logged prior to dispatch. All items are new and sealed unless stated. We have video cameras that record the warehouse process from start to finish. The customer requested a return stating the box was open. We accepted the return request, even though we found it odd. When this was received, the ring 4 had been replaced with a ring 3. No memtion from the customer about it being an incorrect product. The same ring 4 box, with a different product inside.
We work closely with Amazon and relevant authorities to stamp out fraud and will continue to do so. We refused this customers return request and offered to return his incorrect product he returned.
We are not sure how you can say we threatened you to keep the item, when your return was automatically accepted with no questions asked. The issue was when we received your return of the incorrect item.
This was a purchase through our amazon store. We have reported the buyer for fraud and amazon have been made aware.
All communication between you and the customer services rep you were messaging through amazon have been checked by ourselves and amazon's fraud team.
I would not say that a customer service representative advising you that your return request will be reported to amazon and relevant authorities for fraud is deemed as a threat.
All messages along with serial numbers and other eveidence have been reported to the police.

I'm very happy with my purchase, the phones are as described perfect, only the box was a bit shabby. The delivery could not have been any faster, as it was sent by Royal mail next day before 1pm.
