Rachel did an excellent job explaining the process and was prompt and efficient in helping me find the best mortgage option.

Own Up offered the most competitive rates while others were trying to get me to pay more points for the down payment. When the rates went down right before closing they explained my options so that I can make the right choice for myself.

My overall experience was terrific, from beginning to hand over to the bank. Specially Ryan was terrific and to the point during the process and the platform is also very “personal” with terrific self service capabilities right from scheduling the appointment to providing various options of refinance.

Felt the service was good and got better rate than most.

This was back in those dark Covid-19 days. Interest rates were plummeting, and we wanted to take advantage of a lower rate mortgage than the 4.25% we currently had. We had already used Own Up once before, in 2019, so were comfortable using them again. I contacted the company and the agent assigned to me (Yefri Cortave) was super cool. We ran the numbers, but the interest rate wasn't quite where we wanted it, psychologically. I said, hey let's see what happens over the next month or so. If the rates drop below 2% call me and we'll pull the trigger. I almost forgot about it until I get a call from the agent about two months later and he said, hey, you're not going to believe this, but the rates are at 1.75% this morning! We locked it in the following day at 1.875% and we're delighted that the agent wasn't pushy and that he too was willing to wait to see what the market would do for us. Amazing experience!

After applying to both traditional banks individually and another broker, I took a last minute chance on own up and I'm glad I did. Jenn was incredibly helpful through the whole process. Not only that, but the lowest interest rates and closing costs out of all of them. We saved over $4k in fees over the competition.
