I signed up for a subscription without knowing that from clicking in an instagram advertisement
I received an advertisement on Instagram about a discount on products from Kiko Milano. Supposedly I should pay 2 euros to pick the pack of lipsticks that I’ve “won on the online prize draw”. I payed and then my bank app solicited another payment approval and I denied. After that I received an email from this company saying I had signed up for a subscription of a discount club. Nothing about the products I wrote before was found, and another 15 euros payment was scheduled for 15/12. When I tried to cancel I had some problems, but when I went to the chat, Andy was very thoughtful and proactive on helping me. Five stars for Andy! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I thought the company was a totally scam. But it looks like there are advertisements that misled users to sign up for products and prescriptions that they are not aware. This is a serious problem.
Also they charged me a fee of 6 euros for cancelling the subscription without telling me. In the chat they say it is in terms and conditions of the site.
Be careful because they induce and led you to error and spending money without a clear consent or understanding about what the site is.
I am very triggered until now, because I clicked on a Kiko Milano advertisement and was redirected to their website saying I did a subscription! They don’t sell anything related to Kiko Milano and make up! Be careful. Don’t pay anything. Because even to cancel you are charged!
