The day ran over by almost two hours and the proposed company was not an equal opportunity employer. Comments from employer included “lads why did you sit back and let the girls talk?” and in my one to one interview I was asked “as a woman how will you cope in a male dominated environment? I can’t be there to defend you all the time”.

Absolutely disgusting. Better vetting required by Pareto. I was offered to be part of the Pareto team on the day but absolutely no follow up was given. A complete waste of time.

After Applying for a job I was contacted by A who was AMAZING and made me feel appreciated and prepared for the assessment day. After passing the assessment day I was introduced to my now employer and I am so happy with where I landed because my new employers are supportive of my new career in sales. My issue comes with the communication regarding after the assessment day. For a company trying to support people new to sales, specifically young people new to the workforce, i felt that L who placed me in my role just needed to take a beat and remember that people like myself are not aware of how fast paced the sales world is. When being offered a role it would be handy if they also knew about other opportunities i am being put forward for within pareto even in other teams so i could be fully informed. At the end of the day I am in the right role for me but I did question it to begin with due to the interaction with L.

Edit - after speaking to the agent and expressing my grievances i have felt like i have been heard and my feedback taken on board. Again, I am so happy with where i ended up so big thank you to the agent that made it happen.

Very pro-active and helpful which got me a job within 2 weeks. Zoe and Shakira were very professional and supportive however some contacts were very pushy for a decision considering I had only been offered 2 jobs 2 hours before. How am I supposed to make such an important decision so quickly?

Pareto offer a very proactive recruitment process and supply insightful feedback from interviews/ assessment days. Zoe Beechinor and Jack Chamberlain were particularly helpful with their advice.

Be very careful.. once you sign the contract they will milk you via their law frim Pareto law

Worst recruiter!! they get basic candidates.. mess them about and as a business you are better off placing an advert on indeed.

Although we decided the role wasn't for me, it was refreshing to speak with such a genuinely supportive recruiter and his team, conveying professionalism and a true sense of competency. They are clearly experienced in working hard to support the best candidates.

Shakira was super helpful, and made the whole process super smooth and easy.

Rebecca and the team were incredibly helpful and informative about the next stages of my interview process and job details—truly amazing!

Everyone I had contact with during the interview phase was being very supportive and nice, asked the right questions and all, but I believe me being a bit questioning had more to do with that I was not prepared being contacted from the UK. Since I had only applied for jobs in Stockholm, Sweden I was not ready to talk about myself and my experiences in English.

Also, this type of recruitment processes is not something I’m familiar with, not that it was bad, just very new to me.

The assessment day was also a totally new concept for me, but everyone from Pareto was very nice and supportive. It was very clear what was expected from us as candidates during the day.

Again, this is probably a feedback that is very specific for my experience - since Pareto UK handled the recruitment for a Swedish office - but if I were to say something ”bad” it would probably be that as a person that’s only been in Swedish recruitment processes before I think we appreciate more clarification around the contract part. I really liked that we received an answer on how it went at the end of the assessment day, but I would have appreciated more info about the contract, work environment, policies etc.

Over all it was a great experience, regardless I was offered the job or not, I would definitely do it again with Pareto to meet new people and to develop myself and learn about businesses.

Had a good experience with the pareto team, Shakira was especially helpful and friendly. The interview process could be more streamlined and succinct, i also found there were discrepancies between the information given about prospective job roles compared to the actual roles, so something to be mindful of. Overall a good experience with room for improvement.

Great experience with Archie Ambler. He really guided me through the process and prepared me to succeed. You could hear his passion to help through the phone and he was never too busy for a phone call if I had any questions. I really appreciate his help and guidance!

The woman who helped me prepare for each interview stage, Nicole, was absolutely amazing, without her I doubt I would have even gotten to the second stage. And even when I was anxious about the results she assured and gave me confidence

I had initially applied to Reed Jobs who forwarded my Cv to Pareto shortly after. Within 24 hours I had received a call from Catherine Alexander about an opportunity that suited me. A very good one. 2 days later I had another call with Amy who then setup an interview with the hiring company the following day. Within 2 hours of the interview I had received a job offer.

What can I say, incredibly quick, easy and professional service. Incredible communication from Shakira who answered any question I had no matter how trivial. Couldn’t be happier with the service I have received.

Anna and Zoe have been super amazing to me! I passed my assessment day and the next day I was contacted about potential roles, which is amazing. The day was quite long and tiring but I believe it was worth it in the end! Thanks for the support and help so far, I would definitely recommend them to my friends who are looking to go into sales.

Zoe Beechinor is absolutey brilliant, she was very helpful throught my job hunt and I managed to land a role at an exciting company. Anybody who gets the chance to work with Zoe will be lucky as she is fantastic at her job and will go above and beyond for you!
