AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - wish we had read the reviews

Terrible scenes at Gatwick Airport on 5th January. A huge queue of people waiting for their cars, including me, some had been waiting for over 4 hours. The numbers the company give you went straight to a voicemail or were unavailable, tried both the collection and drop off numbers. Looks like the same numbers were in use across several disreputable companies like this one. Everyone was told ‘cars will be there in the next 25- 40 minutes’, this went on for hours, mine wasn’t actually moving according to my app when I was told it had left. Car was also driven 2 days prior to my arrival. Several people tracked their cars, apparently located at some Texaco garage 8 miles away, not the CCTV car park one was assured to purchase. Some parties ended up calling the police.

I didn’t get through to them until I had been waiting in the car park for about 1 hour already, ended up waiting for almost 3 hours, no explanation, got shouted at on the phone when I finally got through; others had keys chucked at them by rude drivers who didn’t deliver the car to the level they were supposed to. My fee to exit the car park was also higher than £5, was too tired to argue more.

Seems like an elaborate scam, badly staffed and operating across multiple shady companies. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - we will never book anything other than official parking ever again, you get - or don’t at all - what you pay for.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

I never write reviews however I'm so disgusted by this company I feel as though I need to. The workers are so incredibly rude and don't care at all. We booked parking and called them to meet us at the planned time, 100 calls later and they still never answered so we had to find a different place very last minute to park at. I've been ringing, emailing etc for three weeks and they still won't give us our money back. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!!!

A thief company

I wrote this review from a very upset customer who never put a bad review for any service i had received in the past, but this company is the first one that I think deserves a 1 star in every social media platform.

I did pick up my car on Sunday 2 weeks ago and found out when i was still in the airport carpark that my Ray-ban sunglasses was missing from my console. This was a present from my husband on my first anniversary that why i hold it dearly. I had called them straight away to report the missing, but the answer was they would contact me back on Monday as it was Sunday so no one working.

After Monday still no contact from the company so I did call them back again multiple time after Monday and the answer always the same that they still investigating.

Now 2 weeks have passed, and I already give up getting it back, but I will make sure to let everyone on the social media know and be aware of this company.

I hope a thief company like this will be out of the business any time soon.

AWEFUL experience

AWEFUL experience! Called the number as instructed 30 minutes before the arrival to Gatwick Airport. The guys clarified which terminal I was coming to. Upon arrival there was no one there... I called them up in 10 minutes after arrival, the guy on the phone said that a driver will be there in 30 minutes?! On my question: "What?!", he said he wasn't aware of my arrival to south terminal... I was completely shocked by this statement!!! I was chasing them up every 10 minutes, no one was picking up the phone.. After several attempts, someone picked up the phone and he sounded like he didn't care... They absolutely don't give a damn about their customers and don't care about their reputation. Eventually the driver came in about 40 minutes!!! Normally someone is already waiting for you when you arrive... They made me really nervous as I had to run to security check and had to skip my planned breakfast as I was running out of time!
On the way back I called them as soon as I passed security control, so was expecting a car in 30 minutes as expected, but it only arrived in 1 hour!!!
Also, my flight was rescheduled for about 4 hours, I tried to get in contact with them for a week on a daily basis but no one ever responded to my e-mail, nor answered the pnone! Horrible customer service!
!!! SUPER BAD SERVICE !!! NEVER AGAIN!!! DON'T USE THEM OR YOU WILL REGRET!!!

Do not use

Do not use. I wish I had read the views on here before booking. We left our flight details but still had to wait nearly an hour for our car to be delivered. Tried calling at 0200 when we had received our luggage and could not get through on the phone for 15 minutes. We chased when the time they said to deliver had passed and they just hung up on us. I wish we had gone with another company

No customer service and left us out of pocket.
On our return we called the number was told to go to the carpark and waited and waited, we got through to someone who told us there was a problem with the key, then we waited again until we got through to someone who said our car was stuck be hind 30 others so get a cab home and they would refund the parking and the cab (lies) so had to get a cab home and then started the calls again to get fobbed off with more lies until we finally got someone to give us a post code in Crawley to a petrol station to collect our car....after being told 5 minuets for 30 mins we finally got our car back. No one has called from them and offered any compensation and the number just goes to answerphone.
Don't use them!!!!

DO NOT USE THEM, THE REVIEWS ARE ACCURATE. Absolutely awful! I am so distressed by all of this, we waited 1 hour 40 for the car to turn up, got it home and have noticed that they have hit a white wall of some sort, probably the car park walls. DO NOT USE PARKATGAWICKAIRPORT.COM, COMPARE AT AIRPORT PARKING SHOULD NOT BE REFERRING CUSTOMERS TO THEM.

Stay clear of this so-called ‘Meet and Greet’

I booked so called ‘meet and greet’ with this company through Compare Parking Deals - 6 to 18 September 2023.

They should not promote this company. It is clearly run by cowboys. When we arrived it was hard to find their rep on Level 5 Car Park 6 and the whole operation was very dodgy.

When we got back we waited over an hour for our car and when we got into it received a notification from Mercedes that the car had been involved in a collision after we dropped it off (photo attached). Fortunately no significant damage visible but gives an indication of how lax their operational standards are.

Not only that we had to pay £5 to get in and out of the car park on top of what we had already paid which effectively wiped out the price saving compared to more reputable companies.

Awful, awful experience. Shame on Compare Parking Deals for facilitating their operation.

Awful

Awful. Trades as Prestige Meet and Greet, too, and MyAirportParking.co.uk, and via Compare Your Parking. Seems multiple trading names operate under the same phone number.

Believe the terrible reviews or you will regret it. I called 88 times, on arrival. Got through three times. Waited an hour from the first of those times for the car to arrive. Lots of other disgruntled customers waiting, too. The guy on the phone laughed at me one time and hung up the next, and I was never rude, just pointing out that he said the car was leaving the first time and then again 25 mins later, and I made the point that I had my 80 year old mother with me and it was late and we needed to get her home.

They also wanted to charge £15 extra because our flight landed 45 mins late at midnight, and said to give cash to the driver (which the paperwork says not to do) but then eventually waived that. Car was filthy on the outside. Driver just shrugged.

Should have read the reviews but booked…

Should have read the reviews but booked with parking4you.co.uk so didn't realise that this company was responsible. Tool my car.. Used it after I was out of the country.. Got a penalty notice so hopefully the police will persure them. Impossoblento get hold of anyone. If you still book now after all these reviews then it's on you. What total jokers.. Stay well away.

AWFUL!!

Car was literally covered in sticky sap from trees and leaves were stuck all over it. Looks like they’ve used my car in a mud filled skid pan! Absolutely shocking
Staff unprofessional and disinterested in my complaint. Have emailed twice and phoned and not able to speak with anyone. How is this company getting away with this? I trusted the reviews on the comparison website, I assume they are fictitious! Shocking!

Left waiting for over 2 hours with 2 young children

I was waiting over 2 hours with 2 young children for my car, the rude staff on the phone (when they answered) were extremely unhelpful and constantly lied about how long the car wokld be. Initially I was told 20 mins and even after half an hour I was promised the car was on the way. NEVER use this company

Really dodgy company and avoid at all…

Really dodgy company and avoid at all costs. Took over 2hrs to get my car back and when we went to exit the car park they barrier wouldn't open and tried to charge me £500. Thankfully the official Gatwick car parking sorted it and allowed me out.

As per the reviews below, absolute cowboys. The chap on the phone was rude and kept lying on the phone, we ended up waiting 1hr30 for the car after being promised it was 10mins away from 20 mins in. When the car arrived it had only been driven for 20 mins and was dirty. Never again.

DO NOT USE! You have been warned! I had arranged to drop my car off on Monday 10th April at 4:15, followed the procedures and there was no one to meet me. I tried to contact them 12 times (happy to share the Screen shot of the calls to Prove it, and each time no answer. As I was not the only family waiting to be met (there were two other families that had been waiting for at least 20 mins…) I had to leave my car in the short stay carpark and catch a plane. I did get a call 55mins later advising that my driver was now there to collect my keys, by which time I was walking to the boarding gate. After some negative language from the company, apparently it was my fault? I ended up paying for the short stay carpark (£45 per day). I have all the call times and ticket times to prove the above, if you are interested. PLEASE READ AND RESPECT ALL THE COMMENTS THEY ARE REAL. Good luck.

DO NOT BOOK THIS SERVICE

Collected our car last night from Gatwick. Arrived at 10.30 and called at 22.16. Told 30 min wait. Went to Level 5 and waited. At 22.37 I called again and the man on the phone was so rude he said he can't fly the car there. Called him again 23.00 as we could see the car was still parked in the app and had not moved.
He hung up on us twice. We were there with 2 kids aged 8yr and 9yr very tired and crying as it was cold.
We called again at 23.13 and then 23.21 and finally we saw on the app that the day was moving out of carpark towards airport. In the ended we waited one hour! No apology. Man on the phone was so rude and did not apologise or show any sympathy. Kept lying to use the car was on route when it was still parked. Appalling service. When the driver arrived he said he only work 15 minutes ago and this was the first car he collected.
We paid for meet and greet service and this was rubbish.

Booking Ref: JPM-79352. I booked this via Just Park Me web site. (I believe there are multiple sites linked back to this firm)
My flight returned 60 minutes earlier (bonus). I called the dispatcher mobile number explaining I was early and aware they needed 30 minutes notice which I gave. The chap on the phone was shouting at me as I’m early and would have to wait an hour or so! I explained I was the customer and I do not appreciate being shouted at down the phone. He hung up on me shouting. I called back and was ignored. Then a so called manager called who had obviously overheard our chat and apologised profusely and the car will be at the meet point in 30 minutes.
I returned to car park 5 level 6 as instructed and found my car smashed on the rear bumper. It was very fresh and looked like it had been hit with a bar or a hammer. The damage has destroyed my rear bumper and I have photographic before and after shots to prove the car was damaged in their possession.
After initially going round and round with various fob offs I now find my telephone calls blocked and unanswered and my emails ignored. I have provided two different customer service agents with all this info and yet I am still ignored.

I did go initially to JUST PARK ME and they claimed no responsibility as were only acting booking agents.
They refused however to give me details of how to contact the company they represented🧐
I have found this whole experience tedious and annoying. This company is full of unprofessional people

My insurers are also hitting brick walls with this company. I believe they should be removed from comparison sites and anything to do with valet parking.

I have checked them out on line and it is now clear to me that this company is a shower of human waste product! If the company directors would like to disprove my opinion by acting professionally and without malice then I await their response.

Was waiting 90 minutes for my car

Was waiting 90 minutes for my car.
They asked me to phone 45 minutes ahead of my collection- I tried but they didn’t pick up.
Then when I did eventually get through they told me to wait 45 minutes. Then my car didn’t arrive until 90 mins later after numerous phone calls with someone who kept hanging up on me
