DO NOT USE SMG OR PARKING BUDDY

I would give this 0 but that is not available in this rating.
Due to an error with the booking I had to pay an additional £33 for my parking which was totally avoidable and unacceptable.
I have raised this as a complaint over 1 week ago however have no yet received any meaningful update nor my money back.
I have reported SMG Vehicle Storage Ltd as I was made to believe this was a meet & greet company when is in fact is a vehicle storage company which, according to the UK GOV website, was DISSOLVED in 25/02/2020.
The whole experience was simply outrageous and I would not recommend anyone getting anywhere near SMG nor Parking Buddy.

Each time you reached out to us, we responded promptly with the requested details. As clearly stated on our booking confirmation page, we also advise checking your spam or junk folder in case our emails were filtered there.

Our system logs confirm that all confirmation emails have been successfully delivered.

Additionally, customers can access their booking details anytime through our online dashboard using the email address and phone number provided at the time of booking. From there, you can check the status of your booking and download your confirmation as needed.

Sure Parking car drop off and pick up

Arrived at the airport at the designated drop off point and the parking attendant was waiting. Was very easy since he took the car, gave a flyer to ensure that we have it handy I return.

On return, I called that we have collected our luggage and the car was already parked again at the orange car park bay which is very convenient. No hassle and friendly staff.

We used Aygo Parking and we waited for…

We used Aygo Parking and we waited for 15 minutes when we arrived at the carpark to drop our car despite we called them 30 minutes before as they advise in their booking. When we arrived to pick the car we call them when we got our bags and we waited for over 50 minutes to received our car after several calls from our side as they didn't provide any follow up and took no responsibility whatsoever. The customer service was very poor, I was very disappointed!! If you are looking for a fast and reliable option I really don't recommend this parking company.

They tamper with dash cams

They tamper with dash cams & broke mine. The last 2 times i used them, i got my car back with the dash cam plug removed. The also broke the power button. When i sent a complaint email, it was ignored.

Platinum meet and greet

We had a very easy drop off at airport. On our return from holiday, we only had hand luggage, so we had no cases to collect therefore, a short wait for our car was of no surprise. I would definitely use Platinum Meet and Greet again.

Long wait times and high fees

Had to wait 30 mins on drop off and had to call twice as they missed the time slots they had provided. Also waited 45 mins on pick up.
Extended the parking by 1 day and it cost 60% of the whole 7 day booking to extend by 1 day - up to them what they charge but at that cost it’s taking advantage.

Very nice staff on drop off and even more polite driver when picked up my car good time I will look for them again when needed driver are very welcoming Anil and the other one very nice experience with them thank you . Regards

BE AWARE

BE AWARE! The offer included a free valet on the website advert, so that’s what steered me to choose this company over others as the price was pretty much the same. However upon collection the vehicle had not been cleaned at all and in addition the annoying thing is that over 70 Miles had been driven in the vehicle without our permission!
WON’T BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN! False advertising & unauthorised use of my vehicle!

They are thieves

They are thieves. Lies throughout. When I drove there, it was 20 miles North of Manchester airport!! Not 10 minutes transfer time as advertised.
When I got there it was evening rush hour, dark and no signage at all. It was a miracle that I even found the place. From the outset they were unprofessional and I had bad vibes, but I had a flight to catch, so no time for questions.
When I arrived back from Thailand (23 hours travelling and very tired), I called them. The man who I spoke to told me clearly that they were not going to pick me up from Manchester airport!! He told me to get a taxi to them, to pick up my car. He told me that Parking Buddy would reimburse my taxi fare…….all bloody lies.
When I arrived at the parking site, there were many other people there, all had been conned!!
Parking Buddy needs to accept responsibility for this!!!
Bad, bad reviews about these frauds.
