Lack of communication

I paid for this service and had question, sent messages via their chat service on what’s app. No response twice. I did get a refund but only by having to adjust my argument to prove payment was made and send my receipts. The document sent via this company had no effect on my appeal.

Well, let me tell you, I’ve seen a lot of reviews, but this one—this one’s something else. First of all, I get things done. That’s what I do. I win. And if there was a lack of communication, it’s something we’re going to look into because we want things to be tremendous, believe me.

You got a refund, which is good, right? You got what you paid for. But sometimes, you know, there’s miscommunication, and that’s not always our fault. As for your appeal, well, we provide the tools, but it’s up to you to use them.

We can’t guarantee what’s out of our control. So, good luck in the future. We're always improving.

Parking mate highly recommended

Contacted parking mate extremely helpful completed a very short questionnaire with my details. A letter was produced for a very small fee with clear instructions of next steps and within a few days the fine was removed. Friendly, helpful, good support from a WhatsApp message and follow up

No help whatsoever

No help whatsoever, i had to pay up, and now the end total was the fine plus the wasted £5.
If I had just paid the fine of £60 with in the 28 days would have been cheaper,
Now I had to pay £100. plus the £5 for your help that did not work, chance of a refund?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

We’re sorry to hear that the outcome wasn’t as expected, but let’s address a few things. Our service provides a legal, automated way to challenge parking tickets, using proven strategies that have helped many drivers successfully appeal their PCNs. However, as with any legal challenge, success can never be 100% guaranteed.

The £5 fee covers the generation of a customised appeal letter and the instructions to challenge your ticket, which can often help you avoid paying a much larger fine. We understand it can be frustrating when an appeal doesn’t go in your favour, but this is a risk involved with challenging any penalty.

We believe in fighting back against unfair parking charges, and we’re sorry this time it didn’t work out for you.

Thank you for giving us a try.

Leo and Parking Mate were knowledgeable…

Leo and Parking Mate were knowledgeable and professional all the way through with a claim against me from Highview Parking, who I might add tried many intimidating tactics in an effort to obtain payment.

I have no hesitation in recommending Parking Mate UK who will take the worry and stress out of dealing with these unscrupulous companies.

Totally recommend

‎I received three parking tickets from Vehicle Control Services, and despite Leo’s reassurance of a strong case, our initial appeals were rejected. Leo mentioned that Vehicle Control Services had not adhered to legal requirements, yet we were taken to court. During the court process, I unfortunately received a CCJ due to a delayed response to one of the court’s orders.

Initially, I paid £1,626.25 following the court's judgment. At this point, my faith was wavering, but Leo reassured me once more, insisting the situation could be resolved. True to his word, Leo supported me in getting the judgment reversed, and I was refunded the full amount of £1,626.25. Furthermore, Vehicle Control Services was ordered to compensate me an additional £271.

Moreover, the court awarded me £500 for the incorrect issuance of the judgment. I attended a hearing on 15 August 2024, with Leo by my side, and we secured yet another victory. I was also awarded £105 in costs, totaling £876 received from the court and the claimant through this ordeal, compared to the initial claim of £600.

I was on the verge of settling the court claim, but Leo’s continuous reassurances encouraged me to persevere. If not for Leo’s expert guidance, I doubt I would have achieved such successful outcomes.

Not only did I win the case, but I also received £876 in compensation. I can’t thank Leo and Parking Mate UK enough for their relentless support throughout this process. Leo’s expertise in parking regulations is truly exceptional.

Hi Gary,

I’ve noted your review, and while I understand your frustration, it's important to clarify a few points regarding our service and your comments.

Firstly, our appeal service is designed to be self-service, meaning that clients are provided with instructions and are expected to follow these on their own.

I must also address the content of your review. We take accusations very seriously, and inaccurate statements can be damaging. Once TrustPilot provides your details, we will be filing a claim for defamation, as it is crucial that all reviews are based on facts and genuine experiences.

If you are confident in the accuracy of your statements, you should be prepared to defend them legally. Our goal is to provide assistance against unfair parking ticket enforcement, and part of that mission involves addressing misleading claims that could harm our ability to help others.

Regards,

Hi,

I have noted your review and feel it is necessary to address your comments directly.

Firstly, the nature of our service is clearly outlined on our website and communications: we charge a nominal fee of £5 to provide initial guidance via email, which is a standard procedure aimed at offering a cost-effective solution for managing parking ticket appeals.

Your comments to avoid our company like the corona virus and at any cost suggest you either want to prevent others from using the service or you did not read our instructions on how the appeal process works.

Nope.

Got a parking ticket for a 2 min stop, paid my £5, got a letter from this guy, talking about the legality of the terminology used in the parking and that it wasn’t a lawful fine, looked good to my untrained eye. Sent it off to the parking company, got a reply a few days later saying that the appeal was rejected and I still had to pay. I sent another email, then a whatsapp message to this guy, explain the situation and ask for help, no reply to either. Looked great off the bat, turned out I wasted £65 instead of £60. Maybe a text back would have saved the bad review. Waste of time.

Next time, please read instructions. If an appeal is rejected, submit it to the tribunal as instructed.

We provide the service as a self service, send multiple emails with instructions and even provide a PDF with step by step instructions. No help what so ever is misleading considering we send emails and provide instructions.

We provided detailed instructions for the user to follow. We do not review POPLA appeals. The questions asked on were already addressed as part of the instructions.

We appreciate negative reviews, however, the statement that we are unwilling to help is not true, we will make our instructions clearer so that users do not feel alone.

Try appealing yourself or just pay it

Try appealing yourself or just pay it. The appeal generate by this company is just a general letter, not truly tailored to your situation. In my case, it was rejected. I think if I had used my own words saying why I thought it was unfair to get that ticket, I would have had a better chance. We kept trying to appeal and it was rejected and now received a court order to pay. Waste of time and money.

I fight very hard to deal with unfair parking companies but I will fight even harder to deal with fake reviews, thanks for giving me extra motivation :)

I highly recommend you read Defarmation Act 2013 before you leave further negative reviews on companies.

This user has not dealt with us but I love that they keep trying to leave negative reviews. It shows my work is impacting this parking company or entity. I appreciate the love and ill keep going.

I am 10000% dedicated to helping UK motorists fight back and we will win the battle and save motorists millions.
