I recently completed my Level 5 CYPFM apprenticeship and my tutor was Abigail. At the start I felt quite nervous, especially during the Teams sessions where some of my work was done live through questions she asked me. Abigail really helped me feel at ease. She was very patient, took time to explain things clearly and would reword questions if I did not understand them.
She was also very flexible and understanding with deadlines, which made a big difference for me as I was juggling being a first time Dad and new Interim RM role.
Abigail is one of the top three tutors I will always remember from my time studying.

I have recently completed my level 4 - Lead practitioner in adult care course. My tutor was Lisa Cooper. Her patience and support throughout the course was much appreciated. It can be challenging going back to learning after years away from a learning setting. She helped to make this journey less daunting. She was very accessible which I truly appreciated. She broke down assignment questions which I did not understand into a simple format and provided practical advise regarding how to complete my assignments which helped to make the process less stressful.
Thank you so much Lisa for your continued reassurances and support.

I rarely leave reviews but I feel it is only right to leave one for my tutor, Lisa Cooper. Not only is she knowledgeable about the content of the work she teaches she also adapts to learning styles that suit the individual. Lisa went above and beyond with me on many occasions. Working full time, being a single parent, facing health issues that impact on day to day living and having to give evidence in a very hard court case, it felt impossible completing a course. Lisa made this possible. Supported my work, flexible with days and times to fit and genuinely supported every issue I had. Gave informative advice on topics and also my personal issues. I genuinely could not have done this without her continuous support and encouragement. Thank you Lisa. You are appreciated more than you realise.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to my tutor, Sonia Spittle, for the incredible support she has given me throughout the completion of my Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner apprenticeship.
Before Sonia became my tutor, I had several tutors who unfortunately left the provision without much notice. This made it very difficult to maintain consistency with my learning and caused delays in completing my assignments. As a result, I had fallen behind and felt quite overwhelmed. When Sonia came in as my tutor, things changed significantly. She was extremely supportive, patient, and understanding. She went above and beyond what many tutors would normally do to ensure that I was able to catch up and progress with my work. She was also very accommodating of my working schedule and understanding of some personal challenges I was facing at the time. Sonia consistently made sure that all her learners felt supported and encouraged us to stay focused on achieving our goals. Her guidance, reassurance, and dedication played a huge role in helping me stay motivated and complete my work on time.
Thanks to her support, I feel much more confident in my abilities and my professional development. I am really looking forward to progressing onto my Level 5 qualification, and I hope to continue having Sonia as my tutor, as I know she will continue to support and guide me to achieve the best possible outcome.

I had a couple of tutors in the first part of my course that were ok. They both ended up leaving soon after I started. My final tutor however was amazing! Made the whole process clear, caught me up (this wasn't my fault, due to previous tutor) but in a none judgemental or pressured way. Sonia was able to give me the flexibility to choose what assignments I did when and how. This was a massive positive in my view. Her knowledge was amazing, answering questions that I had, explaining well and confidently. She, very early on installed confidence in me that I had half a chance of completing the course and was going to do well. Overall after the rocky start I have a enjoyable experience and loved learning the course subjects.
The one file system was pretty easy to navigate, at first it was slightly complicated but after a couple of visits to the site I was able to get around the site with ease.

I started my Level 5 Diploma with partnership training while I had Level 4 students studying at the same time. We all had the same Tutor in Gemma Eku.
Words can not describe the support and guidance not only did she give our staff, but also to me, showing patience, support and determination to get me through this, while having a tough time in my life, and to finally get a distinction, I can't thank her enough. She deserves a medal for having me as one of her students. I even wrote a Poem/ Song while revising for my EPA. It helped me massively.

I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible support I received from my tutor, Gemma Eku, throughout my Level 5 Leadership and Management in Children’s Residential Care qualification.
From the very beginning, Gemma showed unwavering dedication, encouragement, and belief in my abilities even during the moments when I doubted myself the most, which was ALOT. There were times during this course where the pressure felt overwhelming, and honestly, without Gemma’s support and determination to see me succeed, I would have quit.
Gemma consistently went above and beyond to provide guidance, reassurance, motivation, and constructive feedback that helped me grow both professionally and personally. Her passion for supporting learners is truly outstanding, and she has a unique ability to inspire confidence and resilience in others.
Because of Gemma’s encouragement and commitment, I not only completed the course but went on to achieve a Distinction, something I never believed I was capable of at the start of this journey.
I will always be incredibly grateful for the impact Gemma has had on my career development and self-belief. She is an exceptional tutor, mentor, and role model, and anyone fortunate enough to learn from her is in the very best hands.
Thank you so much Gemma...x

Completing my Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner EPA has been a highly rewarding and positive experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and found it both engaging and professionally enriching. Throughout the programme, I successfully completed all assignments and developed a much deeper understanding of key theories, frameworks, and legislation that directly underpin my practice within a residential care setting. The course strengthened my ability to apply theory to real-life situations, improved my reflective practice, and enhanced my confidence in delivering high-quality care and support to young people. I now feel far more competent in linking policy, regulation, and theory to my day-to-day responsibilities, which has had a clear positive impact on my practice.
A huge part of my success is down to the exceptional support from my tutor, Chloe Hughes. Chloe was consistently approachable, encouraging, and invested in my progress from start to finish. She provided clear guidance, valuable resources, and practical tips on how to structure assignments and meet the required standards for the highest grades. Her feedback was always constructive and motivating, pushing me to improve while recognising my strengths. Thanks to her ongoing support and belief in my ability, I achieved a triple Distinction, which I am incredibly proud of. I genuinely credit Chloe for playing a significant role in this achievement, and I would highly recommend both the course and her support to anyone looking to progress in this field.
