Very fishy
Thank goodness for these reviews on trust pilot as I was about to pay them some money towards my HMRC account even though I asked them how the amount I'm owing by them is different to HMRC...also they say I won't pay extra? Then how do they make money...it must be a scam..a clever one..
I have been harangued by this company
I have been harangued by this company. Not sure how they got my data… first they sent me text messages demanding I pay a debt from HMRC. Today a letter arrived making the demand for a sum of money I don’t owe. I suspected this was a scam but reading these reviews have confirmed it. It is disgusting how they are trying to target vulnerable people. Shame on you
DVLA fine scam letter received
I also received a scam letter this morning saying I owed DVLA £80 - reporting to police and BBC watchdog. Checked with DVLA and nothing owed to them obviously. Ignore this company at all costs
Just got this through the door today..
Just got this through the door today... scam!
The letter is honestly very convincing but after looking up the reviews on here it confirmed my suspicion! Also the contact number they ask you to quote your reference number to is a mobile number(07 starting) which is 100% not normal for a legit company... load of crap.
Pastdue are scammers
Pastdue are scammers, avoid at all costs. I was fortunate enough to find out before it went too far!!!
A phone call to the relative authority next.
Thanking all the reviews that have let…
Thanking all the reviews that have let me know this is a scam
I do owe HRMC but not the amount that say, how do they get your information!
I certainly won’t go through this company as it’s obviously a
SCAM
Scammers
I looked at my tax account I was 1p in credit. The letter I was sent had some random amount on it. HMRC need to have an option to report this and tell people not to pay any money only into their HMRC account.
What a bunch of incompetent buffoons…
What a bunch of incompetent buffoons masquerading as professionals. I challenged a alleged parking offence(Plymouth City council) stating they had sold an alleged debt to a Debt collector Pastdue credit, they responded they NEVER partner with any debt collectors! EH?? So why did I get a letter from them when the PCC Have already said they they dismissed it. I was advised by RYAN at pastdue to send authority for my wife to deal with it. I did, and this was the reply email back "RE: ***SPAM*** alleged offence " I'm a bot.....Ringing after the email of authority was sent she spoke to them again this time Clarke who kept interrupting her stating NO Email of authority had arrived....Something DID OTHERWISE THE STUPID Bot Couldn't have responded ....Could it? PASTDUE you are breaking the law by having my private information I suggest you go to DVLA The delivers of MISINFORMATION initially AND INFORM them Plymouth has dismissed the charges. And next time GET A NON BUFFOON HUMAN to do the talking with the ALLEGED client.
If I could give this company a '0'…
If I could give this company a '0' rating I would. It is a confirmed scam - DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY!
I had text messages asking me to click on a link to pay an outstanding amount of £13.32 on behalf of Tesco Mobile. I ignored it as it looked dodgy, I got 2 more messages, then two letters asking me to 'manage your account online'. I rang them and they wanted me to 'pass security' giving my name address, mobile number and date of birth - I refused to give this last piece of info as something was giving me warning signals - the guy on the phone then got quite aggressive and told me they would continue to send me text messages and letters if I didn't pass security and pay the debt.
I called Tesco Mobile Customer Care instead and they confirmed that they only ever use Equifax to collect debt and have never heard of this company. It has been reported to their fraud department - the letter had my name, address, mobile number, the plan I was on before I cancelled the contract, and the correct outstanding amount - all details they would have had to have from Tesco Mobile and yet they have never heard of them! I'm looking forward to them texting me again!
SCAM SCAM SCAM
SCAM SCAM SCAM, avoid this company like the plague, they sent me a text message to contact them about Sky which I don't even have, I gave them details like my name, mobile number but they didn't recognize my postcode.
SCAM!!!
SCAM!!!! Do not engage with this company!!
Had a small debt with ovo that I dispute, pastcredit hounding me about paying so I went onto their site to set up a payment plan- within an hour of making a payment to them I have two unauthorised transactions on my account amounting to £190!! Now have the hassle of waiting for new bank card and pin and resetting payments for stuff. Also don't know how long till I get the £190 back. Avoid avoid avoid, they are scammers!!
This company is constantly bombarding…
This company is constantly bombarding me with emails and text messages. I had an unpaid bill with British Gas which was paid in full last year, British Gas appear to know nothing of this company.
Please stop I don't owe you or British Gas any money.
Awful communication and customer…
Awful communication and customer service.
I called on behalf of a customer I’m supporting with debts.
The way the call handler Angela spoke to me was disgraceful. She was condescending, patronising and rude.
Awful representation for your company.
Absolutely terrible company
Absolutely terrible company, hard to deal with absolutely zero help from start to finish this company does not have a clue what they are doing
SCAMMERS
SCAMMERS! I hope nobody else falls for it. I didn't thanks to these reviews.
I am being harassed by this company
I am being harassed by this company. They have caused me so much stress unnecessarily because I do not owe Three money. The phone line costs money. The text line costs money and is another trap to collect more 'security' info. This company made £900,000 in profit in 2023 with money they stole. This is a horrible scam company and I have no clue how they are not in prison!
This Company is a joke
This Company is a joke they have a complaint site attempting to stop unhappy customers complaining to genuine agencies and hoping customers will be fooled into thinking they are making a genuine complaint, BEWARE.
They also demand payments from people and demand personal details not for security reasons but to update their records to attempt to get additional information and a hold over customers.
If you contact them tell them nothing and tell them why your ringing such as "its already paid", "you don't owe the amount they are claiming", etc,.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS OR CONFIRM THE DETAILS THEY HAVE FOR YOU.
Here’s the Thing
You! Past due are abysmal and worthless. Dictating to people what they will do and not do
Here’s the Thing
No Credit Collection company anywhere can do anything except harass People. They have NO Power, they can not visit You, they can not force You to pay. In short, they can do absolutely nothing. Only the Person or Company you owe to, and even then, Most people pay the outstanding bill, way before any Legal Action takes place, it takes months to action. Therefore you are within your rights to contact the owed Company and mention it’s a waste of time involving Collection Agents
As for this Crowd of Individuals 🙄 They operate illegally
This company is a scam.
This company sent my 92-year-old uncle a bill for a debt to British Gas for £65.00. He has never had a contract with British Gas (always Scottish Gas), and he pays that by monthly direct debit which is automatically adjusted according to his usage. He is 'old school' never been in any debt and this was a shock for him. He was quite upset at the thought of being in debt. He ignored the first letter and now they have sent him a second one - absolutely disgraceful that they are getting the personal details of individuals and attempting to scam them.
Scam company working for even bigger…
Scam company working for even bigger scam companies. Three decided I owed £60 them from 2017! Have they just noticed? Strange because my bank got >£700 back in dodgy Three direct debits end Dec 24.
