Ordered a sample of kandla grey smooth sandstone which I received in good time. I was pleased with the product however I found when comparing prices from other companies that the paving uk product was at least £4 per sq mtr more than some of its rivals which leaves me with having to buy the product from them

Overall the price, delivery and quality of the tiles was first class. Can’t recommend this company highly enough.

I ordered 52 slabs, they sent 52 but with 3 broken ones. they do not want to replace it..saying it was below spillage factor of 10%..broken slabs had to be 6 before they can replace it..so basically if you only need 20 slabs you have to order 22 becaue they might break 2 during delivery..

I've used BGP three times in the past 3 months and the service, delivery and quality of goods has been excellent. Price point is highly competitive but it's the quick turnaround from order to delivery which did it for me. We've had hundreds of Kandla Grey sandstone slabs delivered for our project and not one single broken slab yet! Big thanks to the BGP team.

Palette of stones arrived on time. We live on a very steep road making close delivery difficult, but driver very helpful and used trolley to transfer to our house . Stones all on good peer - none broken- and lovely color. We also bought some jointing compound but unfortunately the wrong colour was delivered. However, I contacted BGP and they immediately replaced, no quibble. We were very satisfied with our purchase and service

Ordered some Kandla grey sandstone coping/steps. A beautiful light grey, just as advertised. Arrived on pallet very quickly with none broken. Very pleased. Would definitely recommend Buy Garden Paving for a quick and hassle free shop.

Large order of Paving never arrived. Had patio layers arranged for weekend. No contact and they are closed for weekend. Ridiculous waste of time.

Placed order and paid for materials.
Day before delivery was emailed to say that they now didn't have them in stock. WAs told they had some by a lady on the phone and she would get back to me. 24 hours and another 4 phone calls to ask what was happening I was told that "we are all busy"
How they can be that busy with an attitude like this is incredible.
All I wanted was an answer.
Just asked for my money back, re ordered from another supplier that delivered within 48 hours

Great product for price

I ordered two palettes of porcelain tiles. The packets came tightly wrapped in cardboard and nylon, from what I can see the tiles are good and only a couple of broken tiles, which is great. Now to the not so good points- the tiles and the packaging were soaked in some dark smelly liquid, I don’t know if it’s dirty rainwater, but when I removed the nylon cover the whole pallet reeked. The cardboard was falling apart from the tiles and they were difficult to handle. When the cardboard packaging dried up it became even worse as you couldn’t scrape it off from the tiles. There were also big mould stains on most of them. I contacted BGP to complain but they advised me that the cardboard pieces can be washed off and there’s nothing they can do as they store the tiles outdoors. I appreciate this advice but Washing each individual tile before laying them is a laborious process as they are quite big and heavy. If I knew the state the tiles came in I would probably made a different choice. Also, I didn’t notice, (and still I am unsure if ) the tiles have pattern. I laid about ten tiles when I noticed on one of the damaged cardboard boxes that there is a pattern which can be followed by an arrow sign on the back. Would have been nice to have that information before I started.
Having said all this I really hope that they are good quality tiles and will last.

There was some damaged / broken slabs out of 80 there was 4 broken but I can get 1/2 cuts from them so in all 2 lost from order, so 2.5% which from my 10% over order is I think good so far, at 63 it’s my first time laying a patio so I’ve done the YouTube university and being a carpenter ( retired ) I’m sure I can take my time and hope fully do a good job, I’ve got all the time in the world so once I start I’ll just plod on I’m sure it will turn out good
But as for the slabs and delivery buying process 5 stars

Very straightforward process from ordering to delivery, and came with a very helpful delivery driver. Quality product that was very competitively priced. Would recommend this company.
