Professional,petsitter our dog was happy with!
Yes we found a great petsitter who lived no too far away from us. She came to visit us before we booked her for our holiday in May this year! We liked her so much we booked her for a short break this month (Jan 26)) for my hubby's birthday! Unlike our first experience with independently found petsitters, She was professional, respected our home and kept it clean and tidy!Our dog seemed very calm and happy when we arrived home.She did not message us constantly whilst we were away asking questions either!

I was a Pawshake pet sitter for some time and had no issues with my account. After a period of inactivity, my account was suddenly deactivated without any prior explanation.
I contacted support multiple times. Eventually, they responded claiming they had sent me an email and had not received a reply, and that there was no confirmed booking for the specified dates. They also accused me of asking for or accepting cash, which is strictly forbidden under their user agreement.
This accusation is incorrect — I did reply to their email and provided proof of my response. Despite this, they continue to send the same automated message or stop replying altogether.
Overall, this has been a very unprofessional experience. I would not trust a platform that suspends accounts permanently without clear communication or fair review.

Your account was not deactivated due to inactivity, nor without explanation. Our team reached out after identifying an off-platform payment discussion in which an owner asked, “Do you want me to book via the app or Revolut you?” and you replied, “Revolut is good for me.” This directly breaches Pawshake’s Terms of Service, which prohibit requesting or accepting payment outside the platform.
This is a business relationship. Pawshake provides advertising, payment processing, customer support, and veterinary coverage for eligible bookings. Attempting to deliberately sidestep platform payments while continuing to benefit from these services is not acceptable.
Regarding communication: our records show that you were contacted about this issue. The claim that no explanation was provided, or that the decision was made arbitrarily, is incorrect.
We ask that reviews remain honest and accurately reflect the situation. Based on the evidence reviewed, Pawshake has decided not to continue this business relationship.

I was a Pawshake pet sitter for two years with great reviews and no issues until my account was suddenly deactivated after a house-sitting job and my $1,800 payout was withheld without explanation. Multiple emails received no response. Only after I threatened legal action did I receive my payout within 30 minutes. Very unprofessional experience. Do not trust them.

This review repeats claims that are not accurate, so we need to clarify the facts for readers.
Your account was not deactivated without explanation, and your payout was not withheld arbitrarily. On 21/07/2025, you contacted our team to cancel an upcoming service due to a claimed family emergency, while another booking was already underway over the same dates. Our staff responded sympathetically, asking whether you needed assistance or whether the ongoing service should also be cancelled as well. You did not reply, despite multiple follow-ups. We also contacted the client directly to confirm the booking status.
As a standard safeguard, the payout was temporarily paused until confirmation was received. Once you confirmed in writing that the booking had proceeded, the payout was released immediately in line with our normal process. A review of the email thread shows no mention of legal action, and it is not technically possible for Pawshake to process payouts within 30 minutes, as you claim.
Pawshake pays sitters reliably and consistently. We do, however, remove sitters from the platform when there are repeated issues with communication, reliability, or trust, as these standards are essential to protecting pet owners and other sitters.

I cannot thank Pawshake enough for helping me to find my dogsitter AMELIA. She and her partner treated my dog like their own, he was totally spoilt and was most disgruntled at having to come home with his mum and dad. He loved their house so much that when he went for a second visit he dashed in without a backwards glance. Thank you Amelia and Pawshake, highly recommended!!!

Easy to navigate the site. Being a first time user found it reassuring with the company. Quick to respond. Our furry kids were very well looked after. Our sitter was so good with the kids.
