Paws Pet Travel Reviews 

When deciding to come to London with our cat, we decided against BA due to excessive bureaucracy and potential trauma. We were given list of companies providing a pet transport service. We contacted five and among the auto responses and 'get back to you', there fluttered into the inbox a reply from Lisa. She thanked us, answered our questions about travel times and set out what information she required. All nice and calm, setting the tone for all her dealings with us. We provided the requested details, Lisa gave us a quote, we accepted, Lisa provided a list of documentary requirements and we put down a deposit of +-50%. The next day, in the inbox was the booking direct from Eurotunnel.
The balance was settled a few days before departure and the big day arrived. We struggled to get the cat into the traveller, with taxi waiting. Boarding was late, and there was a 20 minute delay befor take-off, so the schedule was slipping. Arrived in Brussels a bit behind time, but baggage collection was quick. The walk to the exit was not. After a seemingly endless trek, at last, the exit and a crowd waiting. We looked around, and there he was... Matt, standing tall and proud, away from the madding crowd, just waiting to draw his charges under his wing. So began the 7 hour slog to our new home. Except it wasn't a slog. From a single question asked, a 7 hour converstion ensued. It continued while travelling through the beautiful Belgian countryside, it sustained us through a major traffic jam caused by an accident, pausing only when we reached the terminal.There we had a bathroom break and attended to the formalities for the cat, prepaid from our deposit and overseen by Matt, ready to step in should there have been a problem. After picking up a refreshment, it was onto the train, bang on time, despite all the delays. The chat then resumed and we were through the tunnel in a flash and travelling through yet more beautiful countryside, this time in England. In seemingly no time at all our converation drew to a close as, in the fading light, we approached our new home and waiting daughter.
It was journey's end for us but not for Matt. He had to face a 2+ hour trip in heavy traffic to get home. At least he could take comfort in having the company of his own thoughts.
Why such a long screed? Simply because it's impossible explain how much the entire experience meant to us, in only a few words, a couple of sentences or even a full paragraph. Obviously not everyone will experience it in the same way but in the context of our lives it was important. It started with Lisa. She was a rock. She asked for what she needed, answered the questions she was asked, didn't exaggerate, didn't prevaricate, keeping the process flowing smoothly. On the one occasion that Lisa was absent, Lynda stepped in to answer my question. Matt was the one who turned our day from fraught to enjoyable. He was very interesting to listen to and attentive to what we had to say. His biggest accomplishment was to knock 3 hours off a 7 hour journey! So a wonderful team: Lisa, Lynda and Matt. I haven't mentioned cost. I can't comment on rival pet taxis as none gave me a quote. Using BA (the only airline available to us) meant being shunted off to a local agent who then had use an agent in UK. With all three putting their noses in the trough, the financial cost is well over £1000 according to the local agent. £1145 sounds a lot, but this incorporates the cost of the shuttle ticket and pet processing and petrol for a return journey to Folkstone. We paid even more for the shuttle, to be able to board the first available train whether we were too early or too late for our assigned time. All told this is good value for the money. The cost using cargo is considerably more financially and vastly more emotionally. Needless to say we highly recommend Paws Pet Travel and will use them again if we need to. Too much? Not enough!

What about the cat, the reason for all this, you ask?
She complained when we put her into the traveller but stopped by the time we stepped out the front door. Then... nothing, she was quiet as a mouse for the entire journey. Not a squeek. She stayed awake and watchful until we were in the car, then slept on and off, next to my wife, for the rest of the journey. Once in the house she stepped out of the traveller and started exploring! Its safe to say that she wasn't overly stressed and arrived in a better state of mind than she would have had travelling cargo.

Lynda is an absolute superstar. Her care for one of our dogs today has been second to none. She has gone totally above and beyond, she has been a rock the last few days helping us with this matter, I really don’t know what we would have done without her. Lynda, from the bottom of my heart thank you, I just wish there were more people in the world like you ❤️

We flew from SIN to CDG on 11 May and arrived in CDG at 0630 the next day, with 4 dogs and 5 suitcases (as you can imagine how chaotic it was!!). Thanks to Lisa and Lynda on arranging the transportation. The process was very smooth. Lynda called me 2 days before our departure to explain the process for our arrival. Big THANK YOU to Abdul who drove us all the way from Paris to UK. He was super friendly and helpful. The journey was very pleasant and smooth. Thank you Paws Pet Travel team!

The service we experienced was outstanding. The company made it so easy for us to bring our two dogs from France to the UK. We were communicated with clearly and accurately and everything was in order throughout. Our driver was fantastic, he was caring, considerate and engaging. He knew the process inside out and was able to guide us through this in Calais. I cannot recommend them highly enough. A potentially stressful process made as simple and as straightforward as it could have been. Thank you.

Paws Pet Travel were brilliant. They were very prompt in replying to my paperwork questions, they kept me up to date with everything and on the day itself my driver (Matt) was just wonderful - so kind and friendly, he took all the stress and worry out of my move.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Paws Pet Travel. Lynda collected myself and my cat, Bub from Paris CDG, after our overnight flight from Dubai. She kept in contact and gave clear instructions on leaving the airport and meeting place, starting a few days before our trip, which was invaluable to me as I was travelling alone and quite anxious about flying with my cat.
The drive to Le Shuttle was great and I’d recommend the flexi ticket, just for peace of mind if the flight is delayed/need to stop to tend to animals. You can also grab a good coffee and snack at the flexi plus facilities (timings allowing)
Overall, the experience was the best way to end what had started off as quite a stressful trip (at DXB).
Lynda is friendly, knowledgeable and an animal lover, so you know you’re in good hands! Forever grateful to her, for getting us back comfortably and safely. Thank you!

Lynda and Matt were amazing. Matt was such a lovely guy to travel with from Paris back England. He made it so smooth getting through the lines and the paperwork at the Chunnel, and was truly fun to chat with. I was pretty nervous as it was the first time I had flown with my dog and he really calmed me down. Lynda truly loves animals and was also a joy to travel with. I would definitely recommend Pawspettravel to anyone. I was nervous to travel that far with people I’d never met before, but they really were absolutely lovely.

Great experience as part of our relocation from the USA. Matt picked up us and our three cats from our CDG hotel and drove us to our door in Bristol. The vehicle was comfortable and spacious for our 6 large suitcases, 2 personal bags, and 3 cat carriers. It was invaluable to have Matt's knowledge/experience with the customs and Eurotunnel process as part of our journey. We stopped a few times at rest stops to keep us caffeinated. Enjoyed the 80's rock music too!

So smooth and easy. All the stress of traveling with a pet was completely put to rest once our Paws Pet Travel courier picked us up from CDG. It was such a relief to use them. Our driver was great. He knew all the ins and outs of customs, border clearance, and expediting our travels. He also was a joy to converse with. I could not recommend Paws Pet Travel more.

Saved by Lynda! We were stranded in Calais with 3 suitcases, two trolleys, 4 bags and a dog. Left by the previous shuttle we booked who dropped us in the bat of an eyelid the second a problem arised in check-in. Luckily we were given Lynda's contact details. I called her in the evening in the middle of a storm of lashing rain and strong winds, and at 7 in the morning the very next day we were in a taxi with the wonderful Abdul who was very patient, efficient, understanding and polite (and a great driver) and by 9:45 we were at our front door. Just fantastic. We couldnt be happier and we will definitely use her services again!!

In preparation of our trip, communication with Lisa was perfect; she provided detailed information and most valuable instructions for me and my furry friend Sunny to travel through the Eurotunnel. Abdul picked us up from our hotel in Calais and made sure that everything went perfectly well at the pet- and border control. The whole process was amazing. From the first phone call, Linda was so patient and helpful - we had lots of questions and things to sort out and Linda was always available for us.
When we got to the airport, she waited for us and helped with everything! Throughout the entire drive, Linda and Matt were amazing drivers, and they were so loving and caring for our dog. We will definitely recommend them to everyone we know and will use their services again.

We had difficulties in finding the exit in the airport in Paris, but our driver helped us to figure it out and picked me and my family up rapidly. She was professional, she knows how to take care of our family throughout our 8-hr journey driving to the UK. She knows the process of handling the custom's procedures so my family finished it in a short time.

Lynda was so fabulous. I was nervous as it was such a long journey and she completely put my mind at ease and delivered our Miki safe and sound. The tracker system is fabulous so you can keep an eye on how far away your pooch is and lynda has phoned several times throughout the process and even after to find out how Miki is settling in!she also offered fabulous advice as she is so experienced working with rescue dogs. Lisa and Matt were incredible from start to finish. I wrote to lots of pet taxi companies for quotes and from the get go, Paws Pet stood out with quick and thoughtful communication, competitive prices and just being really organized. They made everything as easy as it could be. And they clearly love animals. When they picked up our 2 cats they clearly knew how to handle them and keep them calm and we felt really confident leaving our animals with them as we traveled separately. We can't recommend them highly enough!!!
