Bought double PDKSOFT6 POCKET DOOR…
Bought double PDKSOFT6 POCKET DOOR DUALSOFTCLOSE. On installing the instructions and videos are pretty poor, the wood provided was not square or straight, had to replace, the pre installed hangers were both misaligned to meet each other, however the carpenters soldiered through and got the job done. However, in no time the 40KG doors had pulled the preinstalled fittings down at one end. Had to take a part with all the double labour! The root cause is the fixing screws are too weak to hold up the weight. Considering they are supposed to be specified for 60KG door they are ridiculous. The quality of this product failed to meet the specification described in the sales.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, we appreciate the feedback, however quality concerns on the pocket door systems is not something we come across very often at all, especially to this extent. On your first point regarding the installation instructions, we will ask our marketing team to look at them to see if there are any improvements that can be made, I would note however we sell tens of thousands of the pocket door kits per year and have had no negative feedback on the installation instructions. If the timer or hangers were substandard then this should have been reported to our customer service team, we would have asked for images and if found to be at fault would have replaced free of charge. All of our systems are cycle tested beyond the maximum weight to 10,000 cycles so we are more than confident in the products quality and ability to carry up to 60kg without issue. WE are of course sorry to hear you are disappointed in the product however this could have been resolved via customer service had there been any issue with the product itself and not an installation issue.

The remotes can seem expensive, however as a small electrical item they do have a high cost price, we do try to keep costs to a minimum and until quite recently still offered these at the same price as we did in 2008, however inflation etc over the last few years has meant we have had to increase prices, we have tried to keep any increase to a minimum. I ordered something so small it could fit into an envelope, but it was so crucial to my project, it was the kingpin to everything else fitting.
So Hendersons took my order, charged me for 3 day delivery, but as they were moving warehouses they decided to delay the picking of my order for a week, obviously without giving me any notice. Unacceptable Hendersons, it may not have been a large order direct to you but through your other suppliers you have made a few orders from me, and I am very surprised at your level of customer care. Even more surprising you never even suggested returning my delivery fee!

To say you are very surprised at our level of customer care is very disappointing, as you state you have used us in the past (I assume without issue) and as you will see from the numerous 5-star reviews below that customer care is a very high priority for us as a company. From the order being excepted and including all correspondence everything was on target.
The delivery expected date passed by 2days so contacted the sales explaining the late delivery,with in 25 minutes an email arrived explaining the problem had been with the carrier, this had been sorted and the item was delivered in the next 2 days.

We understand you comments on the postage but the postage charge is a flat fee, so could be reversed to be a really good price when ordering larger items, unfortunately the website does not differentiate between smaller and larger items, with that in mind the postage for a "small parcel" which yours was is just under £5.00 and we charge £6.00 for postage and packing so it is not unreasonable. It is great to hear that you found the service quick and efficient.

No stock but take your money
Didn't get delivery as they had no products left that I ordered.
They said they would ask production and then I never got any info on that update. One guy on call was rude.
Then I emailed and guy John gave me update which was helpful and they would deliver longer bit of sliding rail which they could have offered 1 time. This put my job 2 weeks behind and client giving me hard time
If at time when I ordered it should have said no stock and I would have went elsewhere.

Firstly please accept our apologies for the delay on this order, we aim to ship within the 2-3 day delivery time stated on the website however if or when an item becomes out of stock and we are not going to make that delivery time then procedure is to advise the customer, we can only apologise that this did not happen on this occasion. Again the solution to send a longer length to speed things up should have been looked into and offered. We do try our very best for all customers however did fall short on this order, we have had a very high volume of orders and have experienced some slight delays, due in part to a site relocation. We aim to provide a high level of service to our customers as I hope you can see from the numerous 5-star reviews on the website and I will pass on your comments to the customer service manager as the experience you had is not one we wish to repeat.
