Peak Pharmacy was founded in 1981 and is based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
It has grown via merger and acquisition from a single pharmacy into the business it is today, consisting of over 150 pharmacies and an online pharmacy.
In 2023 we moved to our new purpose-built facility, in Bolsover, housing both our head office and warehouse. The warehouse uses state-of-the-art automation technology and machinery for medicine packing and distribution.

After reviewing the correspondence, we can see that we advised you that the parcel appeared to be held at your local Royal Mail Delivery Office based on the tracking information available to us. As we do not have access to any additional information beyond Royal Mail's tracking system, we suggested contacting Royal Mail directly, as they would be best placed to provide further details regarding the parcel's status.
We appreciate that this was frustrating, and our intention was never to pass responsibility, but rather to help you obtain the most accurate information available at the time.
To ensure the matter was resolved promptly, we also offered the option of a full refund should you prefer not to pursue the enquiry with Royal Mail. This option was accepted, and a full refund was subsequently issued.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your feedback.

From bad to worse!
I was using the Peak Pharmacy on Victoria Street in Shirebrook but had an absolutely awful experience with the staff there, so I switched to using the branch on Patchwork Row, where the staff were more pleasant. Unfortunately, one of the 3 branches of Peak Pharmacy has since closed, which means the Patchwork Row branch is now extremely busy all the time and gets very overcrowded, especially as they close for 90 minutes for lunch. As an autistic person with C-PTSD and other mental health issues, this isn't helpful, so I'll now be finding an alternative pharmacy or looking at getting my medication delivered. For saying pharmacies deal with people with a wide variety of medical needs, they've given absolutely zero consideration to customer's needs with this recent change.
This has also created traffic & parking chaos that will eventually result in a car vs pedestrian accident soon!
