SCAM, SCAM, AVOID at ALL COST!

Well after reading the first couple of complaints on here about this company, I have made a decision that these people are scammers, and I have been played. I would give y'all my story, but it's the same story as the other people on here. Wasted my money. And for what. A dream of being a published author.... Their gonna get what's coming to them.

RIPOFF! Beware. These guys are nothing more than thieves playing on Penguin Publishing's good name. They take your money, make lots of promises and do nothing. Since they are based in India they are basically immune to litigation..

These people are scammers and I am planning to file a lawsuit against this company. The Penguin Ghostwriting company appears to be a Unity State based business, but all of these people have East India accents. It has been over a year since I signed the contract with them and the book is still in five chapter. They keep replacing their agents they assigned to write the book with me.

False discounts & hidden fees. Penguin Ghostwriters basically held my book for ransom to get more $$$ out of me.
Springbrook, Illinois is just a phone relay. (Even their answering system has a heavy Hindi accent.)
This was my 1st book, so I could have accepted this, but the English is a second language editing is a total nightmare. Still trying to correct the 150 errors they injected into my approved manuscript.
Paid an additionally $550 to have book published on 5 platforms (though I was promised this with initial fee) and book is still only on Amazon/1 platform.
They have promised to fix the errors they injected into my manuscript for a small additional fee (???)
My advice is AVOID these guys and save yourself time, headaches, and your money!!

My name is Adam Farber, I came to Penguins Ghostwriting to get help with publishing my first novel. At first the writing team I was working with was going well. I was making payments and excited to see this book completed. But around chapters 3-4 I didn’t hear back from my writing team. I gave them sometime I thought maybe someone was sick or something. I got worried so I tried to contact penguins chat and tried to call them for over a week with no response. I thought I had been scammed so I went and filed multiple claims with my bank which all failed because they said I had agreed to the payments. But now I was left with no money, no book, and no one had ever reached out to me. Finally my bank told me that the only way to get any kind of refund was to contact penguins. Finally I was able to get ahold of someone. I was very upset thinking I was left abandoned for months. He informed me that the people helping me with writing my book were gone. I had sacrificed everything to try and make this book. my money, my time, I lost relationships with friends and family. Jacob apologized and asked to continue working with them. I needed the money now for other financial reasons I asked for (less than half of what I gave them) which is a bit more than 4 thousand dollars. They said no. So in essence ya I was kind of scammed. This was my experience with penguins ghostwriting. I hope everyone else has had a better experience.

This is my first experience with them, From last year i have book in pending and try different book winter services but always get scammed and frustrated but then my friend refer me to them. They are great and I have really enjoyed working with them.

Iconically, they send me a link to rate their service. Can't understand why they got a high rating but my experience is absolutely disappointing with their service/scam.

They have kept changing people to handle my book from the beginning or even keep changing their names and pretending as a newly assigned manager.

They kept delaying what has been scheduled and suggested my payment was discounted and should have paid more if I want to have them follow up. My book was only halfway done and I have tried many times to ask them to fix all these problems but unfortunately, I never received any further reply from them anymore. I knew this is not going anywhere, so I just paid someone else to finish up almost everything that was undone.

This is not just a bad service or what, but simply a scam, paid without service. Good Luck if you are considering their service.

Overall great service and great feedback communication. Definitely worth it.
