I would like to provide positive feedback regarding the support and guidance provided in relation to a sensitive staffing matter involving sickness absence.
Stephanie provided clear, professional and appropriate guidance around managing concerns relating to a staff member’s level of sickness absence, while ensuring that the circumstances surrounding the matter were approached with the appropriate sensitivity and understanding. In particular, consideration was given to the personal and sensitive nature of the information disclosed, including the staff member’s experience of miscarriage.
The guidance provided supported management to approach the situation fairly and professionally, ensuring that the appropriate balance was maintained between addressing organisational concerns regarding sickness absence and recognising the individual circumstances of the staff member.
Overall, I am very positive about the support provided and would like to acknowledge the professionalism, understanding and quality of guidance offered throughout this matter.

Disappointing and very time-consuming…
Disappointing and very time-consuming experience. I contacted Peninsula for specific health and safety advice spoke to Georgia Neve on managing vibration and concrete dust during a particular work activity. Despite clearly explaining what I already understood and exactly what advice I needed, I continued to receive broad, generic guidance that didn’t answer my questions.
I eventually asked to be referred to a specialist, which they agreed to do. However, I then had to call several times and leave messages, and nobody returned my calls.
Unfortunately, I found the service unhelpful and it wasted a considerable amount of my time when I was trying to obtain clear, competent advice on an important health and safety matter. A member of Peninsula for 8 years and it's the first time I've required specific advise, I will be looking for other consultant company now.
