Great communication, quick response

People Like Us is a great initiative, built on reciprocity but also trust. We have had one reciprocal exchange and multiple with the use of Globes and Plutos. Every experience has been positive. We highly recommend it.

People like us (affectionately known as PLU) is a great community of people who love to travel and support other people’s travel dreams. It’s been life changing - a truly authentic and amazing way to experience tourism by having the opportunity to live like a local, while touring too.

We’ve been members of People Like Us Home Exchange for nearly 18 months now, and it has honestly been an incredible experience from start to finish.
Being part of this community has opened up so many opportunities for travel all over the world. We’ve enjoyed a great mix of hospitality stays, non-simultaneous and simultaneous exchanges, all of which have been positive and memorable.
I mainly travel with my young daughter and my elderly mother, and PLU has made it not only possible but easy and enjoyable. So far, we’ve visited New York, Western Canada, Florida, Oslo, and Bath in the UK through exchanges — all fantastic experiences.
This summer, we’re heading off on a 6-week trip across Australia and New Zealand, entirely through PLU, which says everything about how much we trust and value the platform. We’ve even already finalised exchanges for Hawaii and another trip to Western Canada in 2027!
The sense of community, trust, and generosity among members is what really makes this special. If you’re considering joining — just say yes. It’s absolutely worth it!
