I would never even give this company a 1 star rating. My son purchased a $350 card with his hard earned money to make an online purchase. The money was gone when we when to use it, and they will do nothing to correct the situation. They are the scum of the earth-stealing peoples money. Be warned--do not purchase and support this company.

I got a CAD$500 gift card to use for myself. I opened the package today on April 29, 2023 and when I went to check the balance, the money was gone! Someone else used it even before I opened to register my card. So this gift card stuff is not safe, but sure is a good way to loose your money. Stay away from Theperfectgift.ca

Went to use my gift card and found out there is 0 balance… after purchase I guess they start charging you monthly? Lol I wonder how many other people got these for friends and the balance was used up by service fees by the time they used it. I know my friend would be really sad to hear their money went to nothing. Give cash instead lol Used in Canada. Or tried to be used lol

Was given as a gift a $25 MC. Just found it. The funds depleted in the 8 months I didn’t use it. It’s a scam, they take $3 each month!!!

Crooks. Had 1200 over 3x500 gift cards used while in my possession under lock and key? Didn't know till 6 months later and zero support to reimburse the funds. Stay away

I would not have given even 1 star for this company. Never ever buy any of the so called The Perfect Gift cards. I have never registered the card and just put it aside for future use. They stole 17 times x$3=51$ from my card. This company should be banned from operating and hence the reviews of others. In my opinion they are thieves and the whole so called company is a scam. If you buy a card, you should be using the full amount on your purchase. Who asked them to deduct monthly maintenance fee? And what for exactly? I wonder why Canadian government allows this scam to operate. Beware of this! I wish someone would warn me about it!

THE PERFECT GIFT Visa card is a scam. It should be illegal for Visa to be able to reduce the value of a pre-paid gift card. Service charges??? For what service??? My $100 gift card (given to me when I retired from a school board) is now worth $37 and it has never been used!!! I will let the director of my school board know this so that EVERYONE in the organization knows about this scam. In my opinion, Visa has stolen their money.

It seems this “company” won’t reform or improve. I had a 250.00 Visa gift card and could only access it once for $15.00. I tried using it again and couldn’t get access. It took me j3 times to get through to customer service. They couldn’t solve the problem and I lost the rest of the money. I now have a $25.00 Visa gift card and am using it for the first time today. I’ve just opened it, registered it only to find, due to “fees”, I only have $16.00!!!!!!! WARNING to Everyone. DO NOT PURCHASE, THE PERFECT GIFT CARD. They’ll steal your hard earned money!!

DO NOT BOTHER. WORST GIFT IDEA. My transactions were cancelled for no reason at all. After I used it twice successfully before on the same platform of shopping. Out of 170$, I successfully used $15 for the first 2 times. There is still $155 left in my card with I can no longer use. I called customer service which was no help at all!!! And then we emailed the “solution”. They wanted me to send them a receipt of proof that I purchased the gift card… I GOT IT AS A GIFT I DO NOT HAVE THE RECEIPT. I’d understand these lengths if it were a real credit card. But it’s not. It’s gifted money there shouldn’t be such strict rules and an exhausting process. They wouldn’t let me proceed without the receipt which I don’t have. They currently have my card on suspension and I wont be able to use the remaining money in there. They wont even respond to my emails. I’m so disappointed, it was MY money. Literally stolen.

They are thieves😡 I used the perfect gift visa card once and after that all my money was empty without using it. They professional thieves! Not recommended at all.

Been trying to access their website for over a week now to check my card balance and it's still down. I called and managed to speak to a real person (which took several tries) and reported the issue. Three days later and the site is still down. Terrible service to have a week go by and still not fix your website.

This gift card is a total scam. Naming it “The Perfect Gift” is entirely inaccurate and inappropriate. It’s more like “The Perfect GRIFT”! These cards should be unlawful.

Website doesnt work. Havent been able to load it to even register my card or check balance of past cards for over a week. Also cant get an actual person on the phone. This is a scam. Charging people a monthly fee when the card is expired is good motivation for them to make the cards impossible to use.

I've been a visa gift card user for a long time. Usually without problems. But I missed reporting an illegal transaction on my card because I was not able to check my card online for last few months. Just last week, their website was finally working. And I saw an illegal transaction for $138 that was posted 4 months ago. Nothing they can do about it now because it's over 60 days ago! That's alot of money for low income senior like me to loose. I won't be buying that card again! Goodbye visa!
