Very happy with our lovely pergola after finally assembling with incomplete instruction videos. Many critical details were absent.
I recommend Pergolux allows several contractors to attempt a setup of a Pergola only relying on provided video and revise that stock video with their suggestions. We chose Pergolux because it appeared that there was great customer support - not entirely true although chat and live texting with knowledgeable reps were
readily available which lulled us into assuming accurate installation videos. To say that your assembly instructions and related videos are woefully lacking is an understatement. While they did provide “some” guidance, there is so much detail left out, that it makes it extremely likely that steps will be missed, causing the installer to back track, undo certain steps, and start over. While this experience wasn’t as bad as an Ikea assembly, it was close. Particularly bad is the instructions/video for the LED lighting installation. You really need to improve this and get the sequencing right. We needed to redo several steps before we figured out what we had done wrong.
All that being said, we love the finished product with qualifications.
We also requested a bid from the preferred contractor Elite for assembly. Incredibly overpriced for a job of a few hours - quoted over 50% of product cost! / $3600! Really? A bit much. But all’s well that ends well.

I had a problem with my unit and Eric L. was able to provide me with a solution. Friendly and knows the product. Great Support staff!

The product has the strength & appearance we’ve been shopping for. Unfortunately, it was missing multiple components that I had to subsequently request. The support team was super helpful in sending me the needed pieces, which are currently in transit. We’re looking forward to getting the structure up and usable.

Everything went smoothly from ordering to delivery. Material was well packed and the delivery team carried it to my backyard. Setup took a couple days and definitely you needed 3-4 people to set the beams easier. Once the frame is completed the balance can be completed with 2 people. All in all, we are now enjoying our outdoor space even more!

I've been chatting with the customer support crew at Pergolux several times as I work through the details of my install. My last chat was with Eric L. I believe I've communicated with him before, both chat and phone. I know I've chatted with others.

They have been uniformly excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with my ton of question.

And on the rare time they did not know the answer immediately, they went to their backline support or to their demo units to get the correct answer.

They have made this project much easier.

I am having a team do the install, Elite. I'm much past that point in my life.

I will post a follow up on that process. So far my discussions with that team have been excellent as well.

Love the pergola, seems very well made.

The pergola was delivered and neatly stacked in our garage. I downloaded and printed the assembly manual. A more detailed step by step video would have been helpful. I think at least 3 to 4 people are required for assembly as the posts and beams are quite heavy once partially assembled. 2 ladders are a must. The website estimate of 3 to 6 hours assembly is more than a little optimistic. We took a leisurely 2 days to complete the project. Now that I’ve done one I think with help I could do another in 6-8 hours.

We bought the Sundream S3 for our backyard. It looks great. We had some missing pieces and damaged beams and I contacted customer service and Axel helped me out and was prompt to respond and send out replacements. The pergola looks great and we can enjoy our backyard now comfortably!

Not only is the product spectacular, but the customer service is top notch. We had some issues with the power box and they worked with us until the issue was resolved. They went above and beyond.

Great delivery time (vs. "Hanso's") 14 weeks. Assembly instructions needs written instructions along with pictures, worked thru it with video. Missing 1 corner connector. Can't inventory product at delivery, delivery guys drop and go, need more than 30 days, we all don't assemble immediately. Waiting for rain to check for leaks. Other than that, Great product and price.

I should give it 0 starts. One of the pieces was wrong and we couldn't continue with the assembly. When we called customer service, they said they knew about the problem and UNFORTUNATELY some wrong pieces were shipped! The assembly crew had already been trying for 2 days to put it together. The instructions are very poor (printed and video). We ended up drilling new holes so that we can continue. They also sent us a faulty power box that kept tripping the GFI. We even brought a certificed electrician to check it and he agreed. Customer service wanted us to send them a video and make sure that we plugged it in in many other GFI outlets in our house to verify it was faulty! The replies that we were getting from customer service seemed to be written by a 20-year old who was googling the question. I would not recommend this company!

This is a great product. Structurally strong. My neighbors gave rave reviews to us. DIY Grood!

So far I can comment on customer service and transparent website. Like all of you, I was drawn to the aesthetics and quality of the product. I can now say that the customer service I have received matches. I first requested a call and was called within 2 minutes and had all my questions answered in one call. Even later I had attentional questions and decided to try emailing customer service. Once again, timely and knowledgeable responses within one business day. I have been very impressed with Pergulox and can’t wait for my pergola to arrive. I will update my review after installation, but for now it has been a seamless and great experience.

We love our Pergolux pergola. So happy I didn’t go with a cheaper brand. The Pergola is very well designed and very sturdy. We have very high winds in our area and this thing does not move at all. We added on the shades, which does a great job filtering out the sun and keeping the bugs out. Customer service is excellent. I sent a few questions via e-mail and they responded the same day. It does take more time to install than advertised. We completed in two weekends with two guys. Extremely happy with the final product.

Process from start to finish was straight forward. Easy to order and excellent customer service. The materials were delivered in perfect condition and assembly was easy and fast. The final product is a professional looking pergola with great features. We saved a lot of money over local contractors (paid half of what local bids were) and gained more features. The pergola itself is excellently made, fits together perfectly and has great lines and features. We highly recommend Pergolux pergolas if you want a beautiful, well made pergola.

The Skydance S3 Pergola selection and purchase process was easy and straightforward.
The delivery was in 2 parts. The first part was delivered within 2 weeks. The second part of the delivery (glass) was back ordered and took 2 months. This was expained to me during the purchase, so it was not an issue for me.
The shipping company delivered all parts directly to the site with no issues, missing or broken parts.
Installation went as well as could be expected, however instructions could be better.
Overall the purchase and installation process went well and I am extremely satisfied with the well engineered product.

Worst customer service yet again. I already had issues spent 13k on two from this company. The gutter was defective asked for a replacement they charged me 400 DOLLARS. for a small gutter. After I already spent 13 thousand dollars. I sent the item number and a picture and they sent me the WRONG COLOR again and now I’m being charged again for freight300 bucks are you kidding me?! For a light af piece of aluminum. Save yall some time and frustration go with a different company. My neighbor bought some from Amazon only cost her 3000 for three exactly the same as mine and I spent 10,000 on one and over three and another that’s over 13,000+ this gutter issue another $400 and now another 300 to send it back and get the correct color because that company can’t get anything correct I had to hire someone to put it together cause the instructions are unclear. This is becoming a nightmare I wish I never got this product.over repriced terrible customer service. I have emails showing all this receipts too. I’ve been patient and kind. Now I’m mad.

The quality of the product is very good, even for the lowest end S3 model. This is nothing like the cheap pergolas that you can get from the bulk website distributors. In all, you get what you pay for with regards to the quality of the product. In my opinion, the one thing that could be improved upon is the clarity of the product information on the PERGOLUX website. Yes, the pergola does have drainage slope built into it, but they don’t tell you that the slope is from the motor side to the other side. Also, if you are planning to get any of the powered accessories, there is almost no information on how to plan for your electrical connection. With such a high quality product, I’m surprised that there isn’t much information on the PERGOLUX website to assist with the planning for the installation of your new not so cheap outdoor space investment.

Installing the 16-foot wall mounted pergola took 5+ days working mostly by myself. 2-1/2 days was spent removing about a foot from the width of the beams and shortening the LED light strips to match the new width. Had I known it would be this difficult, I would have skipped this step since it was done for cosmetic reasons.
Half a day was spent locating the studs on the wall for mounting the rear rail. I used a stud finder on the inside of the house and transferred the locations to the outside wall.
The assembly went fairly smooth. The most difficult part is connecting each louver to the rail that opens and closes them. The mounting wall blocks easy access to the louver ends. This is not an issue with the free-standing version.
Overall, I am very happy with the pergola. The quality is very good, and I have received lots of compliments on the looks. A little pricey, but it should last a lifetime.

The pergola are excellent quality and beautiful when installed. The delivery time was very long, and could be faster.
