Very helpful responders
Fortunately I haven't needed to use my alarm up to now but have had several false alarms (all my fault) and everyone has been very kind and helpful.

The reassurance of wearing personal alarms
The alarms are easy to wear (on wrist) and sensitive to sudden movement. Responses from the call centre staff are very prompt and helpful (even in the event of a false alarm). Being both in our seventies it is very reassuring for both my husband and myself to have this back-up as neither of us have close family members to call on in an emergency

Hesitant but now glad
I was persuaded to get an alarm after a fall. Found it easy to sort out. Looks like a necklace so when I used it at first without telling anyone they were unaware it was an alarm. Gives the family peace of mind.

I have actually responded to your first email however I am extremely satisfied with my personal alarm because the response is immediate , while I have not had an emergency I did sit down heavily on the floor and it simulated a fall and the response was immediate. Questions are answered immediately and very pleasntly.

An invaluable piece of equipment
After talking to Age UK lady I was contacte within a few days and got me personal alarm within a week. I had never even seen one before. After reading the book which came with it and doing several test runs I felt confident that it was one of the best things I have got to make me feel safe and secure. I spend a lot of time on my own and walk my dogs twice a day, often without seeing anyone else. I often wondered what would happen if I had a fall or somethine happened to me as I have recently been diagnosed with a heart condition. Now I feel I can go anywhere and my friends and family do not have to worry so much about me.

I would have given 5 but my pendant goes off a bit too easy. I know it has to be sensitive but it’s getting a bit too sensitive and it very annoying.
