K9 Sport Sack

I desperately wanted a backpack for my dog Tucker—he’s half Rat Terrier and half Dachshund. I shopped around and found the K9 Sport Sack—but it was completely sold out on their website. Then I found Pet Pro Supply Co. which was fully stocked. The website described all of the K9 Sport Sack options and offered advice on what size to get. I choose the right one for Tucker and ordered. I received a confirmation email immediately then another email to tell me it shipped. It arrived right on schedule and is a great product. I’ll shop again at Pet Pro Supply. I wish I could add a picture of Tucker in his back pack!!

Professional & Pleasant

What a pleasant experience with this company. From the first phone call, I felt that my business was appreciated and the ordering process (which I was feeling frustrated about) was handled professionally, attention to details, proper questions asked that I never thought of, and a timely follow up call when my equipment started to arrive at my new business. There was an issue with the delivery company on some large equipment and a rep at Pet Pro Supply stepped in and handled it for me! This type of personalized service is hard to come by and I will definitely continue to order from here as my business grows. Thanks guys!

Great experience with Pet Pro Supply Co.

I purchased the AMC PET-TEMP INSTANT ANIMAL EAR THERMOMETER from petprosupplyco.com and had a wonderful experience all around. The price was reasonable, the customer service representative was helpful, I received confirmation on shipping times, the item was received quickly and it worked great. I would definitely purchase from Pet Pro Supply Co. again.

I am experiencing the same issues as…

I am experiencing the same issues as the previous reviews. I ordered the pet pro grooming tub and they said it was in stock. That was July 9th. I am still waiting and it is now September 8th. They gave me the same run around about contacting the manufacturer and gave me a ship date. Still nothing and no response from emails to customer service no response from the messages left on the phone. They are awful.

When you contacted us, we could not get a timely answer from them on why the order marked as shipped if you had not received it. Our team then closed your ticket in error without giving you a response, and we did not see your TrustPilot review until last week. We tried to work with the supplier to get you an answer, and were not able to. So, we called you today and issued a refund.

Ignored until I tried to cancel my order

I decided to get a K9 sport sack from Pet Pro Supply (PPS) even though they were pricier than other places, because their website showed that they had it in stock. I placed my order on July 12. I got an email the next day telling me that my item is backordered saying that it was backordered till Aug 3. Late July, I decided that I wanted my bag waterproofed and asked them if they could add it to the order since the (future) bag was still at the manufacturer's on July 24. After a couple of emails, they said they would contact the K9 Sport Sack (K9SS) and let them know for me. I paid K9SS and PPS told me that they had informed K9SS.

While doing that, I ordered another backpack for my other dog. By Aug, I had no news from PPS, so I contacted them. They offered to refund me but by then K9SS waitlist was already end of August, so I told them that I'd wait a little longer. During that time, I had to wait a long time to get any response from them and no one ever picked up the phone.

My 2nd backpack shipped and I realized that K9SS had the model I wanted in stock, so I emailed PPS and asked if my backpack would be coming soon. I got no reply. Thinking that they my backpack would never arrive, I emailed them to cancel my order on Aug 20. They ignored me. Then on Aug 24, they decided to "ship" my order after I had gotten another one from K9SS directly. Immediately, I contacted them saying that I had ask that the order be cancelled. Only then did they write back saying that it had been shipped and they would help me process a refund when I got the item. But when I looked at the tracking, it didn't get to USPS for another 2 days.

The backpack arrived Aug 28, same as the 3rd backpack that came directly from K9SS by UPS. And guess what? The one from PPS was NOT waterproofed. I contacted K9SS and they said PPS contacted them only after the item had shipped. It took PPS 1 month and 2 days to ask K9SS to waterproof my bag.

Now that I have the bag and am trying to return it, I emailed PPS asking how I could return it and what their restocking fee was. Of course, I'm being ignored again. So I'm stuck with one extra backpack that isn't even waterproofed.

Rationale for star rating:
Ordering: 1 star. Website showed item was in stock, but it wasn't
Service: 1 star. I hardly got any service.
Pricing: 3 stars. Their prices are actually reasonable/ MSRP. It's cheaper almost everywhere else because you can use a decent coupon with K9SS or chewy or get cashback from chewy and Amazon. I managed to use a $5 off on PPS, but that was it.
Delivery: 1 star. It took forever and I never got any updates. And it got sent only after I cancelled my order.

Tips and advice?
Do NOT order anything from Pet Pro Supply. If you want a K9 Sport Sack, go directly to the manufacturer. I will not trust them with anything ever again.

We are sorry about your experience. Our records indicate that we communicated with you throughout this process, starting on July 13th, the day after your order. We let you know that unfortunately, the item was out of stock due to incredibly high demand and the order was therefore delayed (if you wanted to keep it). The next communication we received from you was 11 days later on the 24th, indicating that you wanted to keep the order, even if it would take longer. We replied to confirm this with you and that you wanted it waterproofed; you confirmed this on the 27th. We had also let you know that the order was delayed (K9 Sport Sacks are consistently selling out very rapidly). You then wrote to us on August 20th to cancel your order, but unfortunately by that time K9SS had already shipped it. You received the item and asked for a return, which we agreed to do and provided you with a return label so that you would not pay any shipping fees. We also agreed to provide you with a full refund, which we did. In regards to the issue with missing waterproofing on the bag you did receive, indeed this was a mistake due to a miscommunication between us and our supplier; most orders from us are not waterproofed and unfortunately, a non-waterproofed bag was sent to you in error.

We again apologize that the delay in fulfillment time caused all of this confusion. We understand that you have returned your bag and received a full refund, but would also like to provide you with a custom discount coupon should you ever wish to shop with us again. Please let us know by getting in touch with our customer service team at 1-855-PET-PRO1 or cs@petprosupply.com.

I ordered a grooming table for my dog…

I ordered a grooming table for my dog grooming shop almost a month ago on June 10th and it still hasn't been delivered, though they charged my credit card when I ordered. Even with the COVID-19 crisis that's excessive. I don't think I would order from them again.

Several of our items, like the Groomer’s Best grooming table that you ordered, are made to order for each order. Groomer’s Best lead times due to COVID have been about 4 weeks. According to our records, your order from June 10th was shipped on July 1st and arrived at your address on July 9th, which is 4 weeks after your order and unfortunately after you wrote your review here. We list these longer-than-usual shipping times at the bottom of our product listing pages, but understand that sometimes customers may not see them, and so completely understand your frustration.
