What a fantastic company to deal with.
From start to finish I can't find one problem we have had to date, the communication at all depots on the phone and via email has always been first class and all deliveries are on time.
Martin-Green at the Southend branch is a credit and always follows up with a courtesy call to see if we need any help and if the order is on time, I would recommend dealing with him at all times.
I would highly recommend PGR Builders for any of your building needs.

As a freelance construction management professional I rely upon service to fulfill construction program deadlines. PGR not only have a dedicated team servicing the organisation and provision of information, technical and otherwise, about all of the products they supply, in addition to then organising the supplies you require. They also allocate a personal direct line to a single dedicated team member, who in my case is the key to fulfilling my project material requirements. In my 50 year experience this a unique service.

Been using the Rayleigh store since it opened, have built up a great rapport with all members of staff .Must say a special thanks to Calum ( sales manager) nothing is too much trouble & he will always try to get you the best possible price.The whole place is run very smoothly & provide a great service, in these troublesome times they are very covid aware , the yard staff do a great job & are very quick bringing your order out to you
Only thing missing on a cold morning would be a nice hot coffee 😂

Neil the Rep is brilliant! He’s always happy to go the extra mile and makes sure all deliveries run smoothly; bending over backwards at times when we get caught short! The timber is also spot on unlike what is provided by other local merchants!

Phoned pgr Rayleigh for a price on some building material and spoke to Neil, fantastic price and very helpful would highly recommend.

PGR are now my no.1 supplier of all building materials. The personal service, staff willing to 'go the extra mile' across the entire business, sets them apart from ALL other builers merchants and timber suppliers. Honest pricing, consistency and good product correctly handled and stored is where they are at. Finally, a merchant that understands what is important to a building company!
