My elderly mom used AP since she is in an assisted living facility and can’t go to a physical pharmacy. We live in the DFW area so we aren’t in a remote backwater. Despite this, delivery dates conti... See more

Received UTI meds in under 8 hrs from start to finish.
Woke up with a UTI and was told by my Dr the soonest they could get me in would be 2 weeks. I ended up using One Medical and Amazon Pharmacy, they had my meds to me within 8 hrs. The meds themselves cost under $10 because I’m already a prime member, so I highly recommend Amazon Pharmacy for non urgent concerns. Probably wouldn’t recommend for necessary meds tho, since deliveries can be risky with any mailing company. I should also mention I live in a secure building with package lockers, so I didn’t have to deal with the same issues the other reviewers have. Use at your own judgement/risk, but it worked for me!
Really Amazon Pharmacy deserves ZERO…
Really Amazon Pharmacy deserves ZERO stars or perhaps -10. It is impossible to set up two accounts for two adults in the same household. There is an endless round of receiving "CODES" by cell phone. The technology is primitive which is shocking for a company touting itself as a tech giant. Truly worthless. After wasting 20 minutes online with a representative who apparently knew nothing about the pharmacy sign ups or procedures, we gave up and sought a different pharmacy. As it turns out, Ralph's had the same medication at a lower price.
Amazon Pharmacy wants me dead
Amazon delivered my blood pressure medication after dark at the beginning of a snowstorm. The driver left it in my driveway. I found it the next day with my snowblower, and my pills (white) were scattered in the snow along with shards of plastic from the bottle. When I called to get them replaced or refunded I was told that since they had been delivered nothing could be done. Leaving me without the medication I need to stay alive. Fortunately, my insurance company was able to help me get replacement pills from my local pharmacy - which is where I should have gone in the first place.
This pharmacy is the worse!
This pharmacy is the worse!! The customer service is terrible. They sent me the wrong prescription and they didn’t want to refund me or fix it. They told me I would have to pay for it again. Worst experience ever!
Refilled my prescription without my insurance!
Amazon filled my prescription without using my insurance and would not refund or except a return of the medicine. I had to pay the full prescription price. AVOID AVOID AVOID. You have been warned.
It's perfect if you want to be lied to by robots.
It's perfect if you want to be lied to by robots. Oh, and it actually doesn't provide any medication.
Horrible after taking over pillPack
They are very unreliable and do not seem to care at all. My provider will send my all Rx. But then I get in touch with Amazon pharmacy and they "have not received any orders from my doctor" or the pharmacist is reviewing my Rx.
Unlike pillPack they do not send controlled substances. I take one for an anxiety disorder. But they did not let me know that until my prescriptions arrived without it. That triggered an anxiety attack.
They are very bad at communication.
I have been taking the same medications for years. But in November I got an email saying they removed 2 of my medications, after my next months order was already being processed. Supposedly they did not receive the prescriptions. I got in touch with my doctor and they sent the Rx again. But then my new month's order arrived without them.
I'm moving all my prescriptions to a local pharmacy.
Amazon pharmacy really dropped the ball on this. They are screwing haphazardly with my health. They are barely communicative and the only reasons they give for their screw ups is they did not receive the Rx or the pharmacist is reviewing them.
They really are horrible and unreliable

I have been trying for a week to get a prescription filled. Amazon confirms the order and delivery date. Morning of delivery date they cancel the order. This has happened 5X on the same script. Amazon blames the insurer but I agreed to pay the Amazon price.
Horrible service
Awful experience. Wasted time and a lot of suffering as a result
Not even worth one star… promised me same day delivery for a prescription they didn’t even have in stock. The AI chatbot was completely unaware that there was an issue and kept promising me that my order was slated for an on-time delivery. I waited half an hour to “chat” with a rude human in customer service who gave me no option other than to cancel the order. This was supposed to be convenient.
Amazon Pharmacy: Poor customer service, inflexible & disappointing.
Amazon sent a picture of my scrip on my porch, and when I got home it was nowhere to be found. I asked for replacement and told them I'd pay for it. I told them remodelers were working at our house, and that it was chaos. They told me I'd need a new scrip, which would cost me another $175 Dr's visit. They said I admitted it'd made it inside the house. Real odd, I went all the way up the food chain at Amazon Pharmacy. That was my 2nd and last refill using them. Nasty, argumentative people.
Amazon Pharmacy has ruined PillPack offering...
Amazon pharmacy owned a company called PillPack where they packaged your pills into packs to take at certain times a day. These have been really helpful for me as I travel a lot and dealing with TSA with multiple bottles of pills is an issue.
Since Amazon pharmacy took over from PillPack customer service has gone downhill huge and my order keeps getting screwed up and they keep saying there's nothing they can do about it. The whole reason to get a PillPack is to have them packaged in a way that works for how you take your pills and routinely I have been given pill bottles instead of these pill packets which I actually pay out of pocket for. They don't tell you when they're going to change your order. I keep getting people notifying me that we will be just fine and then one day before the order is about to ship they change it to bottles and then stand behind saying the claim has already been made, we can't do anything about it. You're SOL.
Each month I keep telling them "Are we okay for the next month?" and they keep saying "Yes, not a problem." They keep changing the way they do their packaging of the drugs that are being sent out and this is not a helpful thing if you have a service you need to give the service that the consumer is planning on getting. Instead I keep getting mixed results where sometimes three of my four medications are packed correctly but one bottle is still coming. There is no value unless it is done right. This level of service at Amazon Pharmacy is a joke and I've been escalated to all parts of them. I can just tell you they are being very frustrating to work with. Don't plan on getting a correct order
Amazon Pharmacy shipped the wrong…
Amazon Pharmacy shipped the wrong prescription and made me eat the $400! Do not use them for a pharmacy they are not a competent service provider in any way or form.
I moved my prescription from CVS to…
I moved my prescription from CVS to Amazon to save money (about $100!) but when I tried to refill there was a message that it was "discontinued". Not quite sure what that meant, I dug deeper and they gave three or four reasons that could be. But not knowing which of them was the actual reason for "discontinued" I had to get a new prescription (not easy) and go back to CVS, and pay the additional 100 bucks. So was it worth it to move? Not really, I won't go back with any other prescription.
endless cycle of "blame the other guy"
There were endless delays getting my asthma medication. An Amazon pharmacist SWORE it was available in an alternative dose. I physically visited my doctor and spoke with him and he authorized it and directed his staff accordingly--RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE. For two days in a row, Amazon called the doctor, and the doctor called Amazon, but they STILL pretend they NEVER received the Rx. This is FASCINATING, since a VERBAL Rx is SUFFICIENT for an uncontrolled med. Amazon is too embarrassed to admit that they don't have the OTHER strength in stock either. It's easier to blame me AND have me complain to my doctor about his staff AND thereby harm my doctor/patient relationship. UNBELIEVABLE.
Never again
Never again. Noticed I had a uti Monday, immediately got on with Amazon medical to request medication. Their provider wrote the prescription but there’s literally nothing about how to get the medication. They say they’ll deliver to your home but they dont tell you that YOU have to go to Amazon pharmacy and request the medication, then they deliver. I waited for 6 hours to hear back after my prescription was written before I figured out I had to go to a totally separate entity to get the prescription filled (the chat agents were entirely unhelpful) by then it was 4pm so it said it wouldn’t be delivered until Wednesday. These are antibiotics. It’s 5pm Wednesday and the medication is still not here. I have a low grade fever, nausea, and back pain. I’ve had a uti before and know how fast they can turn. They need to be informing users how the platform works and give them a way to track their medication. This company is dangerous and does not care about its patients.

Since buying Pillpack this has been a disaster. Every month, another issue. Do NOT recommend.
Where to find Amazon's dumbest employees
I was a very satisfied customer of PillPack which is part of Amazon but until recently it was run separately. A few months ago they migrated my account to Amazon Pharmacy, and since then nothing has gone right. every month 1 or 2 medications are not included in my monthly order because they claim there is problem with the prescription, but each and every time, after multiple phone calls and hours of wasted time, they miraculously discover that there was nothing wrong with the prescription. However, until that moment of realization, their staff argue with me like I am the stupid one.
Amazon ruined a perfectly good thing
I used Pillpack for years. Their ads won me over with removing daily pill containers and not having to have a ton of pill bottles to deal with. Amazon pharmacy swooped in and ruined another perfectly good thing.
Now a third of my pills can't be added to the packets and I am back to pill bottle hell. I hate Amazon. A third of a year they've been promising to fix things and not following through.
I don't have to be part of the 1.8 billion dollars they make off this awful service so I cancelled my service and will spend at a local pharmacy instead.
My experience with Amazon Pharmacy has…
My experience with Amazon Pharmacy has been really bad. Their pharmacists are not very knowledgeable and their technicians don’t know anything. They don’t even want to help. So stay away from Amazon Pharmacy for your prescriptions.
Unreliable since Amazon merged with PillPack
I have been a PillPack customer for about 7 years, and was happy with the service. Since Amazon took over, I have had nothing but trouble. Of the 9 prescriptions and OTC medications that have been my usual order for 7 years, I have had issues with 6 of them. I have spent way too much time on the phone trying to get it right.
