My elderly mom used AP since she is in an assisted living facility and can’t go to a physical pharmacy. We live in the DFW area so we aren’t in a remote backwater. Despite this, delivery dates conti... See more

Don’t use Amazon Pharmacy
What went right? Lousy web based experience, the chatbot has three fixed answers an pages of gobbledygook, They lose prescriptions, they’ve needlessly complicated the checkout process, they’re incapable of understanding that just because they lose the PA it doesn’t mean you don’t need the med. overall, terrible, terrible customer service, I only wound up with Amazon Pharmacy because the bought
PillPack, a small company with excellent customer service, when you called, you got a pharmacist, not a bot.
Later: I cancelled Amazon Pharmacy and switched to Accuserv. Customer service is an actual person, there is a pharmacist available if you need one, and the packs actually tear on the perforations, unlike Amazon ‘s, which inevitably tore across the pack scattering pills all over the place.
Price check refused
I called today to get a price for my medicine under my insurance plan to see if Amazon was cheaper or more expensive and Amazon Pharmacy REFUSED to give me a price. No price check, no business, goodbye!
They sent less meds then perscribed and now I'm on the hook for the bill
They did not fill the Rx as written by the doctor, they sent less, and now my insurance won't cover my medications and I'm paying out of pocket. Customer Care will not help me with this at all.
Pillpack is completely dead
Pillpack was great until Amazon tried to merge it. Was a Prime member for over 25 years and just cancelled it (also for my business and looking to get rid of our AWS stuff). Amazon is just an absolute message right now and doesn't seem to care.
Got a cancellation of my order a few days before it was delivered last month (with a nonsensical reason) and just got it again after spending 2 days dealing with support. A Pharmacist i spoke to there clearly informed me that Amazon has a software problem that's cancelling everything incorrectly and ensured me that it will be fixed.
Same thing happened this month. It's not only just cancelling my order, but giving me no time to fix it.
Amazon Pharmacy is such a waste of…
Amazon Pharmacy is such a waste of time. They wasted over an hour of my time and then said they don't handle that prescription (even though it says on their website that they do). It's better to go with a real pharmacy website because Amazon pharmacy is of no help at all.
Prescription did not arrive and Amazon would not issue a refund
Prescription was delayed three times, and I missed a few doses after my surgery. I had to get the prescription filled locally and Amazon would not issue a refund...it was still delayed and never arrived at the time of this review. Amazon said it was the fault of the carrier. I asked again for a refund as I did not hire the carrier, but they refused.
DO NOT use for any temperature-limited Rx
They have no way of properly shipping temperature-limited medication. I ordered something that required a narrow 59°F - 77°F temperature range, and when I received it, the temperature inside the carton was over 100°F. The med was shipped from their Phoenix pharmacy and spent two days inside a sweltering UPS delivery van, so of course it was going to be very hot. Amazon did provide a refund, however.
Par for the course for Amazon
Par for the course for Amazon, I guess. Cheap knockoff healthcare reliant on underpaid, unqualified staff. Thanks, Amazon.
Run from them
Obviously a scam, stay away from these people they are scammers and I think most positive reviews here are been written by them. I recommend you contact Stefon Liam
for your meds refill, I was able to get my instant refills from him after I got scammed by this site. He is definitely a life saver.
Not always cheaper than CVS
You'll save money for no insurance payment only if you have amazon prime. Otherwise it was no better than CVS for me. For stretching to unlimited prescription, you have to buy $5/mo additional plan.
Complete waste of time
Complete waste of time. I am a prime member with all the prime benefits but Amazon can not link my prime account to the rx discount on the cash price. I used an Amazon provider via the medical care under my prime benefit. I spent 3.5 hrs on the phone. Please use a health care online service that is not amazon.
Unreal incompetence
Unreal. They stated that my item has shipped. Two days go by, and no sign of shipment on UPS. I had to contact them to have them send me the medications again! It's been 4 days, and I am out of my kidney transplant medications. I do NOT recommend Amazon Pharmacy.
I ordered a 90 day refill for one of my…
I ordered a 90 day refill for one of my prescriptions. Amazon notified me of 2 delayed delivery dates and then cancelled the order. Problem is that I cannot reorder from Amazon or anywhere else because Amazon billed my insurance at the time of order and I am not eligible for refill for two more months. I've spent hours chatting with customer service with no effect. Its like talking to the wall. I contacted my insurance company and they gave me a phone number to provide to the pharmacy (Amazon) to get the situation resolved. Amazon customer care said they cannot call my insurance company. Its now been 13 days and i still cannot order my medication. If your health and medications are important to you, choose another pharmacy provider.
What a disaster!
I have been with Pillpack for many Years -- way before Amazon Bought them. It was great, getting the pouches filled with all my meds , prescriptions and over the counter. Now they wont fill low dose aspirin or Nexium, and you don't get all your meds in pouches. If you can't get them in pouches there is no point in their existence. The switch over is an un -mitigated disaster. Customer Service is terrible -- try and find a phone number?
I will be switching soon!
No pill packs
The company failed to deliver meds in pill packs. If I had known this I wouldn’t have switched to Amazon Pharmacy. I had been using pill pack for years. Suddenly they switched to Amazon pharmacy who tell me my prescriptions (13) will come in bottles till the medication is synced. The employees cannot explain how all the bottles can come in the same shipment but they are not synced.
One star is too high.
One star is too high.
The most incompetent pharmacy business model.
Can’t fill prescriptions . Customer service atrocious have had to deal with a prescription refill for days it’s a back and forth with doctor Amazon and insurance. The way they measure a three month prescription (which is my insurance’s requirement)is completely different than the way doctors and other brick and mortar pharmacy’s measure a three month supply . They use different formulas .
It has been a night mare.
Amazon Pharmacy bought PillPack
Amazon Pharmacy bought PillPack. They will no longer handle controlled substances OR medicines that have different dosages throughout the day. So if you take a med in the morning only, it’s out.
Don’t waste your time!!
Don’t waste your time!!! I had my meds transferred over on the 10th of September and I am still waiting because they need understanding of the prescription from the Dr. its a birth control patch what verification do you need!!! They need to go back to school
BEWARE mis-handled deliveries…
BEWARE mis-handled deliveries constantly. If you have a serious medical condition, please, please, please do not use Amazon pharmacy. I've only been using them since June and they have lost my delivery twice and last week delivered to someone I've never even heard of. Its not worth it. You might as well use someone local, if possible, or a mail-in pharmacy that has better experience than Amazon. They don't know what they are doing yet.
