I find it's simple to navigate
I find it's simple to navigate, easy to create videos even with not much editing know how. Pictory offers many ways to create videos, Text to video, image to video, URL to video and many more. What is not so good are the visuals. I spend alot of time changing the visuals because their AI sometimes uses wrong visuals. Overall, I enjoy creating my videos there.

Downloaded x 2 polished professional videos on u tube
This is a fantastic service and tools are easily mastered for synchronised text to video conversion with soundtrack
Only negative is the fact i cannot secure package of 2 hour continuous video as the limit is 30 minutes
Also some tailored options for applying gaming style video animated graphics would have been welcome.

I messaged them about the Arabic text…
I messaged them about the Arabic text not aligned in scenes, but they didn’t reply. They don’t seem to care about their customers.
Update: I am updating my previous review regarding unresponsive support. I discovered that their support team did actually reply to my ticket promptly, but the email was lost due to a broken forwarding rule on my end. I appreciate Lis and Rae for diligently following up.
However, the core technical issue is still unresolved. There is a system-wide bug with how the platform handles right-to-left Arabic text alignment. It breaks the formatting on every video I try to generate. Their team is currently investigating the issue, and I will update my rating again once the platform can reliably process Arabic text.

Not REPLYING on URGENT mails related to a technical issue
Hi, I am writing this review because unfortunetly after sending several emails to Pictory customer service to SOLVE the issue I am having with ticking during scene transitioning NOBODY is replying to my email while I mentioned clearly in the subject that my request is URGENT. So now basically I have a subscription of 300 a month and nobody is replying to my email. And also I can NOT generate any videos because of the technical problem I am facing. Not really a way to treat customers who pay 300 Euro a month.

Automatic Renewal Without Use – Seeking a Fair Resolution
I subscribed to Pictory.ai on an annual plan and used the platform only during the first 2–3 months. After that, I stopped using the service.
Recently, my subscription was automatically renewed, even though I had not actively used the platform for several months. As soon as I noticed the charge, I immediately contacted support to request cancellation and a refund.
However, I was informed that no refund would be possible due to their annual plan policy.
While I understand the terms, I believe situations like this, especially involving automatic renewal without recent usage, deserve a more reasonable and customer-focused approach.
I’ve noticed that other users have reported similar concerns, which makes it even more important for the company to handle these cases with flexibility.
I remain open to a fair resolution, such as a partial refund or another alternative.

Whenever I had a question or problem, the support team was on it.
Last week I was trying to have a link imported. They let me know it was the wrong link for what I was trying to do. Then they helped me find the correct link so they could import it. After that everything worked great.
Also the response time was fast. Great job Pictory team!

Good Concept, But Too Many Glitches to Use Professionally
I purchased this program for business use, but my experience has been extremely frustrating. The premium voiceover feature frequently produces glitches and strange noises that make videos sound unprofessional.
When I contacted support, I was repeatedly told to use workarounds like removing punctuation or adjusting spacing. Not only is this unreasonable for a paid product, but these suggestions didn’t fix the issue.
In addition, despite the platform advertising access to a large library of photos and videos, it often generates the same images repeatedly or selects visuals that are completely unrelated to the content. This defeats the purpose of the feature and forces you to manually search for appropriate media anyway.
I also experienced problems with settings not saving properly. Despite sending screenshots, screen recordings, and detailed explanations multiple times, support kept asking the same questions without providing a real solution. Response times were slow, often taking weeks, and each reply repeated the same troubleshooting steps.
At one point, they sent me a sample video to prove the feature worked, but it clearly contained the same issues I'd been reporting.
To make matters worse, I couldn’t cancel my subscription directly and had to email support just to stop auto-renewal.
I ultimately stopped using the program despite having time left on my subscription. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this product for professional or business use.
