Story behind the name
In the early 1600s, Dutch explorers set sail to unknown parts of the world, eventually boasting the largest naval fleet on Earth. To protect themselves from bad luck, mariners inked tattoos of a pig and a hen on their feet because crates of pigs and hens were oftentimes the only items left floating after a shipwreck. The sailors believed a pig and hen tattoo would help them not only survive the strongest of storms, but also allow them to float back safely to their beloved homeland.

Although I have been advised for the appropriate size, the bracelet did not fit and I had to pay by myself the DHL fee to send the bracelet back.
Dear Pig&Hen Team, thx for your reply, but the return you offer is about €7,- which is from my point of view not a small fee. So sorry to say. And clearly means to me, that in future, I am hesitant to order a bracelet, in case I am not 100% sure that size and style is correct. In the end customers will judge.

Silver doesnt meen silver!!
There are two mentions of SILVER in the description of the bracelet and only rope in material. In the reality the bracelet is made of steel. I had to pay two shipping fees to get this knowledge about the way Pig&Hen makes its business. For many days the money for 2 bracelets are not returned. Now I'll have to spend my time too((( Stay away.

Customer service does not listen, but tells you to send purchase back.
I ordered a „white“ Brontide together with a white Navarch and as a gift a Amelia band (tiny one size). I asked via chat to get some extra links I could add to the Amelia, so I could actually use my „gift“, no reaction. The Brontide is a dark beige and therefore looks odd with the white Navarch. And as I expected the Amelia was to short. So I complained to the customer service. All they said basically was, send it back! And with the brontide closure I agree, lost it 5 times already. But luckily found it again. I am sure next time it is gone….. so all in all last time ordered anything!

You ordered two different shades of white, the Brontide is White Howlite and the Navarch is White. It is true that this does not look the same. The Amelia bracelet is adjustable and is only produced in this size (XXS-SM).
If you are not satisfied with the bracelets, you may return them for an exchange or a refund.
