Story behind the name
In the early 1600s, Dutch explorers set sail to unknown parts of the world, eventually boasting the largest naval fleet on Earth. To protect themselves from bad luck, mariners inked tattoos of a pig and a hen on their feet because crates of pigs and hens were oftentimes the only items left floating after a shipwreck. The sailors believed a pig and hen tattoo would help them not only survive the strongest of storms, but also allow them to float back safely to their beloved homeland.

My first experiences with Pig & Hen was…
My first experiences with Pig & Hen was amazing. I purchased my first bracelet at the duty free shop on a plane, unfortunately the size was a bit too tight. Was in Amsterdam for vacation and got it adjusted with the staff there at the shop. They were super nice, freebees, water bottles were given and best service, etc. Now i purchased online and the service is totally different: The size was still not on point so 5 days to get an email response, return fees are at my expense and i purchased during a discount period (fathers day) but discount not applicable anymore since i am returning the product and i HAVE TO re-order an other one , NOT AN EXCHANGE!! I am very disappointed for I was so amazed in the past by this company. Therefore returning wrong size product andnot repurchasing the return item in my size.

If you place an order online then everything goes differently. This involves a different process, partly because we work with a large warehouse from which our orders are shipped. The return conditions are explained on our website.
We have answered your email and informed you that you can use the Father's Day discount code until July 19.
Returning a bracelet for a refund and placing a new order online yourself is the quickest and best way to go.

Very unhappy first, but things got sorted out eventually
Very unhappy. I bought a bracelet that is getting loose the whole day. I have to adjust it several times a day which is very annoying and inconvenient. I asked to return the product and Pig & Hen refused the return as I wore the product.
On the other hand, how could I know that the bracelet keeps on loosening if I didn’t wear it…
In a nutshell, poor product design, terrible customer care. Never again.
EDIT: Following the above message, Patricia contacted me and sorted things out in a very helpful and professional way and made sure to make me a happy client again, i'm therefore upgrading my rate from 1 to 4 stars accordingly.

Unfortunately returns need to be payed by customer, so If bracelet doesn‘t fit or you don‘t like it, you need to pay shipment (from Germany: ca.17€ with Tracking, ca. 10€ without Tracking).

I ordered a wrong Shackle due to a not…
I ordered a wrong Shackle due to a not sufficient description at your website (exact measures of the Shackle is missing). So I have to return it and hope to receive one that fits. It is not very kind that I have pay the stamp for the return by myself because the return is caused by a reasos I am not responsible for. Furthermore, the Shackle I ordered now is cheaper so I hope that I will return the difference back.
