Like others have said, when Amazon took over, service got worse. Amazon says they ship the box to arrive 2 days prior to the start day. 5 out of 10 time, that happens. The other 5 they arrive by 11... See more

I never even got the account set up
I never even got the account set up. Between the ridiculous set up time (3 weeks, when prescriptions renew monthly, that's cutting it way too close for my liking) and the slowest customer service staff on earth, (I can only assume they're doing 3-4 chats at once) - I couldn't bear to work with them long enough to start the service.
I love PillPack
I love PillPack. It’s easy to get ahold of them on the phone. They helped me get my medications transferred and we also added my vitamins (D and iron). I had a doctor that was very difficult to get ahold of. PillPack called her repeatedly for me. I changed doctors and, in the switch, I was running out of medicine. I was at work so I emailed PillPack. They responded to my email the same afternoon and sent my medicine overnight. I haven’t had any problems with billing or insurance. Their website is very helpful to see when your next shipment will arrive. They send emails as well. I’ve been using PillPack for a couple years now and I’m extremely happy with their service.
Nothing has gone right
Nothing has gone right. I am so very disappointed. I just signed up for the service after having problems with my local pharmacy. I was so wrong. Suddenly only half of my prescriptions were transferred. And one of the remaining two has the incorrect dosage. Add, to that my first shipment was lost. They then had the nerve to tell me I may be charged for their stupidity of using USPS in these times. Customer service is useless. Three months of mistakes with no accountability.
Medication not dispensed as written
Here is the problem, before Amazon bought out Pillpack they were AWESOME! Then along comes the big guys and I have been lucky to have two shipments in a row be accurate. Here is where I struggle. I have recommended this conpany for years and now I am terrified for the oldet generation I recommend use this service. I felt it worked great for baby boomers who took multiple medication per day as it helped family members when they came to make certain their loved ones were taking their medication as prescribed. However! Now I can't get a shipment correct. There is constantly medication being omitted, but still charged to my insurance company. I spend hours on the phine trying to get it sorted out between credits owed for medication charged and balancing that with my FSA card and insurance. PLEASE whoever sold this company buy it back amd do it right!!!
I work for a 3rd party payor…
I work for a 3rd party payor (insurance) and when we call to try and resolve issues with this pharmacy we are told they are unable to help us. A lot of our members travel and the address we, the insurance company, have on file is usually a permanent or legal address while the address the pharmacy has may be a temporary or shipping address. We are told they can not assist us with resolving a rejected claim because the information does not match. It is very frustrating because at the end of the day, all we are trying to do is help them get the prescription processed and paid for by insurance. The medication is being delayed getting to the patient, they are being charged full price because there is an issue with the way the pharmacy is billing the insurance, or they are being told the insurance doesn't cover the medication. If we can verify the patient's name, date of birth, prescription information, insurance ID, and group number then why can we not help this pharmacy serve our members better? Very disappointed in this pharmacy's lack of cooperation in better customer service for our members.
Bryan from PillPack: Extraordinary Customer Service
I was fortunate enough to speak with Bryan, who is a customer care representative with PillPack. Without a doubt the best customer service experience I’ve ever received. He was on the line with me for 40+ minutes to ensure everything was taken care of. Extremely helpful, detailed, patient, and thorough. If management sees this review, please give him a raise! He deserves it
Worst customer service ever
I have been trying to sign up for this service for a month. I can't go into all that I've experienced, but in summary, every communication I have with them is different than the last. Each customer service representative tells me something different. Every time I login, someone has changed the medications list, wrong dosages, wrong dispensing method, autorefill turned back off, prescription received and then back to "we haven't received it". This has been a nightmare. Perhaps once they figure out the customer service issues this could be a good service. Until then, stay away, unless your medication accuracy is not very important.
At first I liked PillPack
At first I liked PillPack. I liked the in the mail delivery and the individual packs. Then after about 6 months I came up short on one month, 10 days worth!! I went through several phone calls explaining the whats and hows it could of happened. I thought they were excepting responsibility. They sent the pills I was missing then after about a week they charged me for them without any explanation. They said they found themselves to be not at fault. After several more phone calls they refused to accept they were at fault and wasn't going to refund me. I decided to go with my insurance company for mail order. Come to find out when my insurance had changed PillPack had even overcharged me from what my insurance was going to charge me through them!! So, I'm glad I got out from under them and WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone!!!!
Let me start by saying I wanted to love…
Let me start by saying I wanted to love PillPack so badly. Unfortunately, I will not be continuing my services with them. In just my very first shipment, they did not include my most expensive prescription. When I reached out to customer service to let them know, the agent told me they would be resending my medication. A few days later I received a call from a different agent telling me they have camera evidence showing that two medications were packaged in my shipment. They told me that because of this, they would not be able to send my medication unless it went through insurance again, which would likely be denied. I was appalled. I didn't receive the medication, nor any sort of indication that it was ever placed in my shipment. The packaging was intact and unopened. Although it looked like there were two boxes placed in my shipment, something must have been empty. I am just out that money now. The agent kept saying something must have happened during shipment. I don't know what else to say except I do not have my prescription, and have never had an issue with theft before. Furthermore, how would the packaging be intact, the other medication left, and no information about my missing prescription? If it was theft, why wouldn't they just take the whole box?? I will be canceling with PillPack. I felt it was implied that I was lying about the state of my prescription.
Not user friendly
The pillpack website is not user friendly. I signed up and added 2 of my prescriptions on it, not expecting them every month. I went in to attempt to take away the auto ship since my prescriptions are on an as needed basis AND sometimes my inhaler runs out a bit too soon. I was never able to find a way into my settings to even look at my prescription settings and it always took too much time to get to my home screen.
This is coming from a 26 year old in web design. If they cannot make a user friendly website it isn’t worth it.
Pillpack Customer Service doesn’t read their emails
Pillpack Customer Service is horrible and they DO NOT read replies to your emails. I have had three experiences where they asked me for a reply. I have replied and then received a follow-up saying they were awaiting my reply. Enough time had passed from my reply to their follow up that there was no reason for them not to have registered my reply. When I did contact them again, they indicated they did see my reply.
In the latest incident, they actually replied to my reply stating they were waiting for an answer (you could see my reply in the email trail).
Pillpack is convenient IF your insurance allows 30 day subscriptions. However, if your insurance requires 90 day refills like most employer based insurers, then you cannot get your medications in packs.
Worst pharmacy in the world, even Soviet ones were better!
I have lived in four countries and traveled the world quite a bit, so I have many pharmacies to compare...Due to pandemic, I have decided to switch to PIllpack. I was very excited to get to try daily packets. Boy, how I was wrong to make a switch! Each out of my four morning pills came in a separate packets, not to mention my two separately packed pills for the evenings. Too much plastic waste, too bad for our planet. All medications were renewed by me, the patient. Very poor customer service-they don't check anything when they send me un-personal messages regarding my medication. Pillpack ships monthly-no option to go on 90-day supply. As a result of this misfortune - two of my shipments were delayed - which caused a week of missing on my meds which I am heavily depend due to my medical condition. This is completely unacceptable. Moreover, I had to make sure monthly that I was to have two packs a day, which made me feel as a babysitter to incompetent pharmacists. When I have closed my account-I was not even asked the reason-proved to me that they really don't care, since they sit on lots of cash. Back to my good, old CVS at Target, much happier and with confidence of being taken care of.
Good idea, disappointing experience!
The company was really good for about a year. Then for whatever reason the company went sideways! In December 2020, they shorted my order, shipped an order late, and really upset my doctor's office with numerous and repetitive phone calls. Very disorganized company! Wonder how they deal with the medications?
Stay with your local pharmacist!
That's how they make money!
I've used PillPack for about as year and was generally pleased with delivery, customer service etc. I did have this nagging feeling that something was amiss with my copays. And there was! If your doctor, like mine, writes a prescription for 90 days, you go to your local pharmacy and pick up your order and pay one copay. PillPack accepts your 90 day prescription but ONLY sends out meds on a 30 day supply charging you a copay for every 30 days! So your 90 day supply of meds costs you 2 additional copays. That makes PillPack dishonest supplier of meds. I'm returning to my local pharmacy.
Use your local pharmacy instead
Use your local pharmacy instead. They will just waste your time and money. I guess this is the worst service by Amazon. Just transfered all my prescriptions back to my local pharmacy.
The absolute worst customer service
The absolute worst customer service. From being lied to being promised a call back and everything in-between. If you can avoid them do so to the best of your abilities
Terrible!!! don't use!!!!!
They can not get it right. tried for 4 months. terrible!!!!!!
Absolutely the worst customer service…
Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Every rep I have spoken to - until I get to a supervisor - seems like they are doing you a favor. Why did I ever sign up. IT IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT IS MAKING ME GO BACK TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD WALGREENS and the Pillpack reps have no problem in letting you know they could care less.
No Pillpacks and No Solutions
Been trying to sync my meds and get them in packs for 4 months now. I finally got 1 shipment in pillpacks (not bottles) only to have it revert right back to bottles. They find every excuse to blame the customer and tell them they have to accept the bottles instead of making it right . They insist the medicines can be used out of the bottles but the whole point in using Pill Pack is to get medications in packs because of struggling with memory and arthritis and needing a morning pack and night pack. It is an unrealistic expectation to dump 10 bottles on an unsuspecting customer to deal with for a month . They are dooming their customers to fail without any compassion or empathy. They refuse to hold the shipment until they have all the prescriptions and ship them out at one time even at the request of the customer. They literally sent one pill in the pill packs and sent all the other medications in bottles stating that once they send the first shipment the preceding shipment must be sent in bottle form. Even if you can get them to pill pack your stuff they will only put four pills in a pack. People that need pillpacks have more than four pills. They need to either get a larger pack that they can print on or get in a different line of business. They aren't helping people. They're adding to caregivers' stress levels unapologetically. Their Billing Department does not work in tandem with their customer service department . Every time the customer service department tried to make it right billing denied it unapologetically with an emotionally detached email containing no reply service. Billing needs to be retrained to be more courteous and dialogue with the Customer Care department and the customers. Amazon Pill Pack is too big to not be working with their customers towards solutions. It is inexcusable.
Too bad
It is too bad customer service can.t give new clients any information regarding prices and coverage. They want you (basically) to enroll in their system BECAUSE you have to enroll first" Why would I pay anything when I have no copayment??? I feel bad for the customer reps who can't answer your questions because of their lack of knowledge.
