Great fun
Great fun. Product works really well, I’m now recording all my training and matches - top speeds and distance. Love the heat maps and replays.

Son had enjoyed using it
Son had enjoyed using it. Meaningful data has been lost due to user inexperience. You need to switch on just before exercise/game and straight off afterwards as otherwise you collect incorrect additional data. Could be clearer in the instructions with this highlighted.

Extend contact hours or sort thr FAQs
Customer service is friendly and helpful, it's a shame it's only open Mon to Fri 9-5 when 99% of people are busy at work.
The help pages on website need sorting too.

PitcheroGPS for Walking Football!
Playing football at walking pace sounds like it will be easy - nothing could be farther from the truth! At every event the cry of, "Running Ref!", fills the air! In my humble opinion, the definition of 'walking' as defined in the rules is almost impossible to enforce.
When I read the PitcheroGPS specification, I wondered whether it might be possible to use this device to prove that I was NOT jogging or running - not at all the standard use case!
I purchased the GPS Player Bundle back in February 23, with an expected delivery date of July. PitcheroGPS confirmed delivery during the first week of July and my device arrived the following day.
The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I'd downloaded the companion app, created my account and started my subscription within a few minutes.
I did note that the device is designed for outdoor use, so I wondered how it would fare with our indoor sessions.
Undaunted, I started my tracker, and popped it into my vest. A little over two hours later, it was retrieved and the moment of truth had arrived.
The first promising sign was the progress bar moving steadily and surely from 0 to 100%, in a minute or two, suggesting that session data was indeed being transferred to my mobile device.
Process complete, I hit 'View Session' and was completely blown away by the quality and variety of the information available:
- a heatmap of my movements
- speed data by zones and intensity
- distance data by zones and intensity
- intensity data over time
all in easy to read, understand and share charts and tables.
Session 1 - 99% walking (below 6km/h) and only 1% jogging (below 12km/h) and only 1m of 7,300m+ covered at running pace.
I've shared these stats with my teammates, safe in the knowledge, that whatever anyone thinks they saw - I wasn't running!

Easy to charge and transfer over data
Easy to charge and transfer over data! Some of the pitches through the map are not correct and my heat map was abit all over the show but I got the gist of it. Easy to wear, easy to use app!

I love the product and the brand
I love the product and the brand. The only "but" I could give it it's that the speeds are pre-setted, and I do 3 min of sprinting (and feeling like I am gonna die! )and because the sprinting speed is +20km/h it only records like 3 seconds of sprint.

Still learning but super helpful
I am new to this type of tech and I'm still learning how to interpret the data.
But the device and the app are great. They're really straightforward and easy to use. My favourite is the heat map for each category of data (speed, intensity, distance).
