My mistake but still got help.

My mistake but still got help.
I made a wrong purchase, of a subscription for much longer than needed. I did not see this during the process of purchase, and as soon as I received the invoice I reached out.

The guys at Placeit was first of all so quick getting back to me, clarifying what I wanted. And as soon as that was in order, my refund was on it's way.

The products I now made are perfect for what I need them for and the site is easy to use. I will be using this service in the future.

Thank you Placeit for helping me out.

Account deleted for no reason

Opened account,paid and made 2 mokups - 4 hours later I received an email saying my account has been deleted (still waiting for my refund)

After going back and forth with sales, they confirmed my account has been deleted but cannot disclose why...really a good platform but customer support in terms of sorting out problems is terrible!!!!

TO TRUSTPILOT

TO TRUSTPILOT: Who keep sending me emails about my review on Placeit. You ask me for more information yet, when I signed in you wanted my personal phone number and the answer to that is NO and WHY?

HERE IS YOUR EXTRA INFO: I received over 5 EMAILS" from Placeit asking for "suggestions" ON MOCKUPS.
See Below since you have no where to upload the emails.

I was looking for VIDEO mockups not Photo mockups. I didn't want to have to create the videos myself so that is the reason I PAID. After hours and hours realizing I they did not have VIDEO MOCKUPS OF IPHONE CASES, I emailed support first before I asked for a refund.

I received 5 emails and one was to a link that was for PHOTO MOCKUP OF IPHONE CASES.

I then received 1 message from Roni with a link to a Photo Iphone Case and 4 messages from SARAH On Sat, Oct 14, 2023 at 3:19 PM, Sarah at Placeit
Sarah wanted to GET SUGGESTION for Placeit. I was just looking for Video Mockup.

The next day I just asked for a refund and didn't get any responses. I used Placeit for years without any problems and was upset that noone was ever was going to responsed to my email about a refund.

NOW TRUSTPILOT DON'T BELIEVE ME. DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TRUSTPILOT AND I WILL TELL THE WORLD THAT TRUSTPILOT DON'T LISTEN TO EVERYONE SIDE AND WILL DELETE REVIEWS. SO, IF A CUSTOMER FILE A COMPLAINT THEY NEED NOT TO GO TO TRUSTPILOT BECAUSE THEY WON'T BELIEVE YOU.

I am starting YouTube Creator

I am starting YouTube Creator, when I try using this site to create my templates and logos it denies all forms of payment from credit to debit. I couldn't contact customer service and my credit card and debit card company says my cards are fine. I don't know what is wrong or if there is a problem with this site purchasing software. I was recommended to this site by other content creators and it seems I have to go elsewhere to create my templates/logos

An amazing site!

I have been a member for several years and love the variety of mockups. I haven’t tried most of the other features yet, because I’m still figuring out social media, but I plan to explore more of Placeit and all it has to offer. Thank you for this great website!

VERY slow to make a mock up,VERY. Place it caters to shirts, very few mock ups for lamps, rugs, home decor. I hope they improve this area, 'cuz I'm not big on shirts.

Design like a pro in minutes

Getting something done in minutes is worth the subscription! The best thing is I don't have to pay for an expensive license to get something that looks like it was made by a pro designer.

I joined Placeit to use their Wanted poster generator

I joined Placeit to use their Wanted poster generator ap to create Posters to enhance Role Play in a Wild West community in Second Life. The online application is very easy to use, with a shallow learning curve and it generates good quality posters that are very customized for our usage. Unfortunately after a very short time, less than a month, and after only generating 8 posters when I tried to login I was told that my account was blocked. When I asked why, the refused to tell me, citing an unwillingness to reveal their internal processes. I will say that they promptly refunded my payment.

I have no iDea who this company is and…

I have no iDea who this company is and my card was charged $119 while I was asleep. Never heard of this company and do not know how my bank account was charged anything while I was asleep.

I have received your response but I have already done what you are suggesting before contacting you. The problem is that you all.have put me in a bad situation and I need my money back since I have no idea who these people are. The charge is from your company and I would appreciate having my money returned as you all are causing a serious financial hardship for me and then the number to your websites seems to.be fraudulent

With a paid subscription for a year

With a paid subscription for a year, it would seem I could use the site. However, for some reason, suddenly, it's taking 15-30 minutes attempting to sign in as I can't get past multiple little idiotic pictures. Absolutely unusable. Save your money, save your blood pressure and frustration by AVOIDing this website at all costs.

Run, don't walk, in the opposite direction.

NOW, once the review has been published, PlaceIt is suddenly wanting to be helpful. I communicated with them, was told absolutely nothing would be done but that my original email would be passed upstream. After days, maybe even a week to 10 days, I managed to sign in and was working on a project. Then I could not get back in. When I sent the original email, the experience had been so frustrating that I intended to leave and never look back. Then I needed some graphics and the PlaceIt is paid for, so I finally got in, made a little headway, then could not get past the little pictures attempting -- for 15-30 minutes to prove I'm a human being and not a BOT. I personally think PlaceIt is simply showing concern now to attempt to intimidate me into backing down (and my 1 star would be a -3 if that were possible as the quality of the site is not particularly impressive). or hoping I will not reply and Trustpilot will take my negative review down. BTW, PlaceIT is not the only site that uses the little verification process of click on the motorcycles, bicycles, stairs, buses, etc. Placeit is just the one that has been least helpful.

MISLEADING, UNETHICAL, SCAMMER

Placeit charged me the annual fee of over 100 USD when I was selecting the monthly plan, seems like a common problem based on multiple reviews from different sites! The difference of 100USD and 14USD is rather huge and I simply cannot afford to pay that much right now. I have reached out to support and PayPal and am waiting for a response for getting refunded as I only wanted the monthly plan for 14 dollars rather than the annual plan.

1 star is too many for PlaceIt Customer Service

1 star is too many for PlaceIt’s customer service. I liked the platform and using the tools available but I had THE worst customer service experience, as not a SINGLE solution was provided to help me with my situation:

Signed up for monthly PlaceIt sub, created close to 50 mock-ups for my brand, attempted to upgrade to yearly sub and download mock-ups, card transaction failed twice resulting in account being disabled, emailed Envato (parent company of PlaceIt) to fix issue, got response 2 days later saying I need to email PlaceIt directly, emailed PlaceIt directly and they replied that they are unable to locate my account. I sent proof that I was charged for the subscription (my payment invoice FROM PlaceIt). Cust. serv rep replies that they were magicially able to locate the account after I sent tangible proof it existed, after they previously told me didn’t exist… and then STILL MADE NO EFFORT to help me restore my disabled account. The one I paid for with all my branded content inside.

So now, I have a PlaceIt subscription that I paid for… yet no one at PlaceIt can help me restore my account or content.

Biggest waste of time and resources as I spent 2 full work days intermittently trying to get this resolved and yet, there’s still no resolution and PlaceIt doesn’t appear to be interested in finding one.

To think this all started because I WANTED to PAY for a year of their service, to essentially be told you’re locked out of your account and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Customer Service Rep: “There is no way to enable the account you can open a new one with a different email.” (In response to asking about my personal data and IP on their platform and if I will be able to regain access to my content.)

Unbelievable. Clearly dodged a bullet with this company.

Account was disabled literally 30 minutes of using it. Please don't listen to the Youtubers who use this site - they get paid and won't tell you the truth about this shady company! And please don't say I was flagged for suspicious behavior or I'm going to think you were discriminating. So disappointed.

Definitely a service I don't recommend

Definitely a service I don't recommend. I tried paying for a subscription and their payment gateway doesn't work.
They are saying that it's may bank's fault but I tried 3 different cards from 3 different banks and none of them had any charge attempts on them.
They just keep that is my fault without ant attempt to give me some solutions.
And not to mention that my country is listed on their country options.
I they feel confident that they have to most options right now but there will always be someone else.
