Fraudulent company practices !!!
I purchased the monthly plan and paid $16.54 and the store charged an additional $130.91 to my credit card for the annual plan which I did not purchase, they did this without my consent or acceptance. I sent three messages to the store staff asking for a refund of the illegally collected amount, with no response!!! This is plain theft, you are frauds!!! I reported a fraud case to the bank.

I saw this app being used by a friend and asked for the information. I wanted to try it out for a month and I thought I signed up for the one month subscription only to see that I was being charged for an entire year. I don't want an entire year subscription. I emailed the support team within less than 2 hours of subscribing and I received an offer for a partial refund. The app isn't user friendly enough for me and I am requesting a full refund or my bank will dispute this charge to the federal level.
This is not a good business practice and quite deceptive to be honest. The sign up software is tricky. Set up to take your money at a full year's subscription. It happened to my friend as well.
Be careful using this app because signing up can be detrimental

TACKY and not a way you should conduct your business, you're greedy and I will search high and low for mock-ups before I pay you another cent when I didn't get a chance to use your services for 30 days. SHAMEFUL AND FRADULENT!! I should report you to BETTER BUSINESS BEAURU. I wouldn't recommend your website to a dog!

HORRIBLE and I wish I would have come here first! I have attempted to purchase an annual subscription about 6 times. You HAVE TO email them in order to get any kind of support and the response time leaves significant games so it's not really help it prolongs your project. Just like everyone else payment failed and blamed my bank. I bank with a militay bank so I know there should be absolutely NO ISSUE, they kept saying my bank doesn't accept recurring payments, they take $1 to make sure it accepts recurring payments, the email response mentioned I can't make a purchase while on a VPN so they want you making the purchase on an unsecure network to gain access to all of your personal info which is sketchy per me AND MY BANK! They send the same generic responses and I'm willing to bet they'll comment under this with a non human, non empathetic to what they're doing to people in business' time and money. I truly seems like they are scheming to obtain access to people's banking info like hackers and thieves. I come here to see all the people missing refunds and accounts shut down abruptly after purchases. I'm off this company, I was excited about the content but it seems fishy! PLEASE PLACEIT DON'T COMMENT UNDER MY REVIEW AND GIVE ME A GENERIC REPLY LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR TIME NOR MONEY it's a headache! Guess it's on me for not first checking reviews but same story here, I paid for a month and they canceled my account and sent me a dry email telling me off. If they want the year subscription they should simply sell only that. This was a very unpleasant experience and it managed to bother me enough to write this review. I would never recommend this company to anyone I care about.
Now I get a reply from placeit with some empty words about suspicious behavior, 'placing' the blame with me. You are full of it, place it! I was on your site a total of 45 minutes. Blaming me is making this whole thing even worse. I have 21.5k followers on Twitter(X) and they will all know about this. In the mentime I signed up for Vexels so how is that helping you? You're an awful company and I am sorry to would have ever encountered you.

If you do not order an annual subscription they will cancel your account. They call it "suspicious behavior". Don't even try a monthly subscription, they will cancel your account after 30 minutes. They sent me a refund invoice but no money back. It's a shame, you lose a lot of customers this way. I stop recommending you on my youtube channel.
In an age of AI development and custom mockup trends, this is a fascinating self-destructive strategy.
I would recommend report the transaction with your bank. You will get your money back. When more people do that they stop being a trusted vendor

Awful experience and I'll never use again!
If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I signed up for what I thought was 1 month to see if I liked Placeit. Well they immediately tried charging me for 1 year! Luckily there weren't sufficient funds in my account so they couldn't take it. Now they're trying to take it again tomorrow even though I've emailed them to complain. In the email they want my IP address. Why? I don't like it at all. Basically they want your money for a year. If that suits you then fine, if not you're in for a battle. I just want to get away from them as fast as possible. No I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Shame because some of their mockups are nice but they've given me a massive headache!

I want to thank Placit company for their attention in refunding my money because I accidentally made a payment.
They don't give you a refund.
I purchased their subscription, they barely had any selection for Bella Canvas 3001 T-Shirts. I tried out one or two models to see how they would like and absolutely hated them. So I proceeded to ask for a refund and cancellation of my subscription since I practically didn't even use their services and this was denied. I mentioned the EU law that grants me the right to a 14 day refund but they claim I consented to withdrawal of such right when I used their service. What a scummy and scammy way to run a business, they are clearly just a cash grab, DO NOT USE THEM.

It is incredibly hard to find what a common product picture what look like. A simple transparent background with a person doing a NORMAL pose with the garment. Almost EVERY photo is people doing goofy or zany poses. Half of the photos I see are people just dancing on camera. I don't know who's using these for their clothing product photos but if you're looking for photos that come off as professional then this is not the place to find them.
