Planet fitness bowmanville, im a classic card member. My friend is a black card member. My friend got me the coins to used the massage chair. No other member was waiting. A female staff can in the room and said that i have to get off the massage chair because I wasn't a black card member.
Please, explain

Great gym but a bit on the expensive end.

I’m a senior who’s been going to planet fitness for several years and used to like it a lot. In the last three years they have “redecorated” twice and each time removed equipment that I need….! This last time, over the Xmas holidays of 2025, they HALVED their strength training machines!!! They used to have two of almost everything but now have only ONE……one squat, one adductor, one abduction, one stretching cage, one push-ups and one farmers pull….and others I don’t use. HOW IS THIS HELPING? Seniors need this stuff, but we can’t wait in line all day. I’m gonna have to tell my insurance provider about this….

Great gym, no complaints. The equipment is all in good shape - machines work, nothing's broken or out of order, and there's always something available even during busy hours. For the price, it's honestly hard to beat. Clean, no-nonsense, gets the job done.

Worst gym iv ever been to. There is literally no water. Guess they expect people to drink out of the toilets. Equipment is constantly broke. Staff is rude. And place is disgusting.

The gym is great. But cancellation is horrible. They lie when they say it's easy. It equivalent is Golds gym. No one seems to have the authority to help me.

Their billing practices are very scammy. They charge a ridiculous yearly membership fee that they don't mention at sign up and will charge a cancellation fee. The equipment is terrible, even for the price. All of the good machines were broken and would sit for months before being fixed. Find a better gym.

I was at the Planet Fitness in Slaughter Ln in Austin and Johnny R. helped me with a situation. I was trying to use a machine in particular and had passed by it at least 5 times and there was a man sitting on the machine but wasn’t using it, he was on his phone. The man got angry when Johnny asked him about it and he might complain but Johnny is a very friendly and kind person. People shiuldnt be allowed to just sit in the machines indefinitely when others would like to use them too. Also, they should have to use the phone in another area if it that necessary and not monopolize the machines.

I loved how clean everything is. They have stuff to wipe down the machines before and after using them. The machines are all up to date. They have a lot to offer. Today was our first day, and Mackenzie Edward’s at the Doiglasville Georgia (on Chapel HIll) facility was very helpful. She took a lot of time showing us how to use the machines and what they were for. I highly recommend

So I enrolled for membership since 2019 and barely used it. Payments have been honored. However I recently decided to start a healthy journey and going to the gym being part of that. I go to the facility on Saturday only to be told I am not an active member and was given a number to call. My question was why am I not an active member and yet money gets pulled out of my account, her explanations were a total "Oops lets cover the company" At one point she said they should have put a note in there that I was at the facility on Saturday and there was an issue. I said a note under what account because they could not pull my account in the active members accounts, then she said the mixed up your names, then I explained to her that me and the front desk attendant did everything to make sure names were looked up accordingly, switched them around every to make sure he was not missing anything. Then she said I called they had to use the agreement code. Then I said why not use my names ?? that's when she blamed me for not using the facility for too long and I said really, if that is the case your system did not miss a beat in taking money from out of an account under my name for me not using your facilities this long but you can remove my name from your system as a member, then she got rude, and hang up.
So beware.

It's funny to me Jax manages the Davenport ia location and has had sexual harassment accusations and his wife who works at Moline il location has him flowers delivered for the accusations like there not true get a clue lady!!!!!

I just recently got an email saying that my account is past due a week or so after the due date. I never received a past due notice ever since this one. So I called my home club in oak ridge north, texas to find out he said I have been paying late fees for awhile. Why haven't I received any emails like this time ever letting me know about the late fees. Then he proceeded to tell me that the club manager will most likely not honor my refunds because I should of brought this to their attention awhile ago. My point is that I would have if I knew I was getting charged late fees. I received no notice or anything. Then he said the reason is because I dont have a primary payment setup but thats why I have a secondary payment account setup so the payment will clear. Never would I think the secondary payment would take weeks to clear to make me fall under late fee charges. How would I know that unless the club tells me. Even on the app it doesn't say, all it says is that 27.11 is paid and that I am up to date with my bill. It doesn't display the late charges so I had no clue. To top it off I only been in the gym maybe 4 times out of the year and a few months. I am thinking about canceling my membership because I feel I was taken advantage of and feel as though reimbursement is valid for all months that I paid. This was a horrible experience. Escalated situation to bbb and no response. Bad business practice. This location had weeks to respond and I got blew off. If you want your hard earned money to be pinched without knowing this is the place.

I just joined. They told me no more money would come out of my account for 1 month yet it’s been 2 weeks and they took out another 25.00. False advertising

Upon arriving at Planet Fitness in Niagara Falls, NY, I was warmly welcomed by Katie and Matthew. As a 65-year-old joining a gym for the first time, I truly appreciated how comfortable they made me feel from the start.
They took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently, which made the experience much less intimidating. After a week, I can honestly say the staff continues to be friendly and supportive, the gym is very clean, and the overall atmosphere is calm and inviting.
A sincere thank you to Katie and Matthew for making this such a positive experience.

poor poor service 20 March 2026 A dishonest salesperson may mislead you just to persuade you to join the club. I was promised a lot of discounts after signing the contract, but I received nothing.

I decided to cancel my membership, but they are dragging out the process to get another payment from me. I spoke with the manager, who is always busy, and it has been two weeks since then.

Read their contract. It's highly predatory.

Everytime I want to go and take a shower there would always be male staff that would follow me right into the bathroom its either the one on regent or the one up st vital, every damn time they would pretend not to hear the shower going off, I had made a complaint about this but they were dismissive it didnt really help next time I'll just call the police, what if I end up getting raped!? Look i just want to use the shower after I work out I dont smell particularly nice right after I've also noticed that no women in that women stall would use the shower stalls now I know why.

I have visited Planet Fitness at E Fowler Ave, Temple Terrace,FL for the last few months while I was a snow bird. I have been to a few other locations and this location is the best. It is always clean and all equipment works perfectly. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of all equipment. I would highly recommended this location.
