I have to say that I think this company is brilliant. It has made life so much easier. To not have to trawl through supermarkets, to think about what I want/need to eat to stay healthy and to eat the same food again and again… It has freed up so much of my time, made me excited to cook to see what new recipes and flavours I’ll be experiencing and knowing I’m eating well for my health. When I go to a supermarket I tend to buy too much what with the offers etc plus costs have gone up. Since using Planthood my weekly shopping bill has actually come down significantly.

Good quality ingredients, fab flavours and good portion sizes!

Don't be scared of subscription with Planthood as you can cancel anytime. Order when it suits.
Such a refreshing experience with this company I highly recommend.

Having tried some of the meat-based food boxes with limited success, and after a health scare for my Husband I was thrilled to finally be able to bring him across to the plant based world and had been hankering after Planthood meals for what seems like forever. Nothing ever looked as good as their meals. So, into week 2 of our new routine and I can honestly say EVERYTHING about this service has blown me away. The food is INCREDIBLE and my husband is amazed at how tasty and filling plant based meals can be - and the variety - just staggering mouth-watering choices. I am excited about cooking our meal for tonight already, and it's only 11:09am! If you're sitting on the fence, GO FOR IT. The portions are huge, the waste is nil, the cost is far less than I would pay collecting all sorts of stuff in the supermarket and I can't possibly imagine getting bored or stuck in a rut. Will also consider ordering in for when we have guests and cook bigger dishes.

We are really enjoying the meals, so tasty and healthy, and easy to put together after a busy day and not have to consider how to make vegan food taste amazing! You can even filter down your preferences further if you have intolerances, so I can eat well and not have to worry about gluten in the dishes.

We started with Planthood just over a month ago, doing 3 meals every other week. After sampling the AMAZING food, we now do 3 days every week!!! Can't recommend them enough, the food is plentiful, healthy, fresh and b****y delicious!!! Well done, one VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER! (Just had the shwarma tacos and OMG!!! Amazing)

I think this is perhaps the only plant-based meal kit available on the market, and it's really worth trying it out. The menu options are always quite broad and variable, the ingredients are fresh, and I often find that the portion sizes are very large and can make 3-4 meals. Planthood saves me a lot of time, and the meals are always satisfying yet healthy.

The food is mostly very fresh (except a couple leaves sometimes if left for a bit first), clean and extremely delicious- made life better & very flavoursome, too. You always find yourself doing some sort of new technique to cook them and great everlasting variety (or so it seems). Loving it & very helpful team, too!

We've had 9 meals so far and they've all been great! My kids (age 6 and 2) have eaten a few and really enjoyed them. It has been lovely to see them trying new and healthy things!
My only feedback is that a couple of the meals have felt very low in protein. Overall, great though!

Delicious meals, can’t believe how tasty eating plant based is! My husband was sceptical when I ordered a box, but he has converted too!

Went downhill.

This was so good in the beginning, but I have had repeated issues with the delivery for over a month now. At first, it was just broken sauce packs or other items being damaged, thanks to the courier drivers dropping the package to the ground rather than just placing it down as one would expect. Then they've delivered to the wrong address not once but twice. I was then told that the driver can't pick up the package they left at the wrong address and deliver it to my place (even though they did that the week before, so not sure why that's suddenly impossible), and I'm offered a refund...for ONE of the four meals. Absolutely ridiculous.

I don't think they take complaints seriously, and I am tired of having to re-plan my whole week due to their incompetence. It's a shame, as I did enjoy most of the recipes I've gotten from them, but since they are clearly not interested in listening to complaints and improving the experience of their customers, I am going to cancel my subscription.

I'm afraid I will add to the recent flurry of poor reviews. I know I cancelled my subscription before the deadline. No email confirming cancellation though.
I still received a box even though I had already done my food shop for the week, and had arranged to work in the office and wouldn't be in to take delivery. I'm not sure what has happened their side, but it has been very frustrating arguing my side to be told I cancelled outside the deadline when I know I haven't, and now will be paying for food that I won't be able to eat anyway. An email confirming cancellation would have cleared all this up. These products are always sold on the basis that it is really simple to manage/ stop/ start the subscription, but not the case. Only time I have left a bad review.

It’s been great so far, new ideas for meals made easy

I'd highly recommend Planthood. The ingredients are always really fresh, I’ve never had any quality or delivery issues, and the meals are consistently delicious AND filling.

I’m not vegan, but I wanted a meal box that would help me eat more plants and a wider variety of them, while still feeling genuinely excited about the food. Planthood has completely delivered on that.

As a registered nutritionist who has tried lots of recipe boxes, I can honestly say this is the best one I’ve had so far.

I love how the food is easy to cook, tastes great and isnt ultraprocessed.

Really happy with Planthood, I cannot have dairy or eggs, so these boxes fit perfectly within my diet wishes, on top of that I really like that its all made from scratch with whole foods and no processed stuff.

With some skepticism as a meateater, I subscribed to Planthood 5 weeks ago to see if I found plant-based meals satisfying enough to make them my main meal of the day. To my surprise and delight, I have found Planthood to be tasty and filling. I have tried other subscription services, such as Hello Fresh, which I found to be bland; or Gousto, which I thought was time was intensive. By contrast, the majority of the work is taken out of the preparation, as Planthood provides all the sauces, which expedites the cooking time. The meals have been flavorsome and filling. It has been an easy way to increase the number and variety of plants to my diet. The only reason for a 4 star review, rather than a 5 star review, is because I have received some veggies that are past their best within a day or so, and have needed to replace them. This is something Planthood could look to improve.

I’m not a vegetarian by a long shot , but these meals are delicious and I feel great no more bloating more energy and sleep better. I genuinely have enjoyed every meal so much the benefits are massive, they are so easy to prep and hassle free, I have also learned different ways to cook it’s a win win all round.

Great food which is easy to make and very tasty. Platform to order is super easy.

Really pleased with the service and quality of the food. Portion sizes are big and we sometimes have enough for a 1 person lunch the next day!
