What a terrible company.

Placed an order on Monday with 3/4 days delivery. Checked the status on Wed and it was still marked as new so called the company and was told that it was just picked up and should be with me the following day or Friday the latest. Thursday gone, most of Friday gone and still no parcel so I called them and was told that some items were out of stock and it’s just been picked up and will now arrive on Monday! Well, someone here was simply lying!

Our first and last order with this company

Well, 2nd order in just over a week. Following on from my last order and review I gave them another chance. Yet again a speedy delivery. Ordered on Sunday afternoon, even allowing for the QE Bank Holiday Monday my order arrived on Wednesday morning. All was correct and no issues what so ever. Thanks again.

I placed my order late on a Sunday evening. I did have a delivery timescale question. It was not replied to by the Wednesday morning so I called for clarification. The girl who answered gave reassurance that my delivery was to be that same day! My delivery came about an hour or so
later, all items satisfactory and correct. I have read the negative reviews on here but in my own experience, l am very satisfied and would if needed, use Plastics Express again.

Well, placed my order on Thursday evening without seeing the very poor reviews. £155 worth of underground drainage. Saturday I saw the reviews and thought OMG what have I done as needed the items for builder the following week. Monday lunchtime I rang to see what was happening. Within 30 seconds the Phone was answered by a polite lady who looked up my order and told me it was “loaded” on the van and would be delivered Tuesday. Being a little sceptical I rang again at 1000 Tuesday and phone was again answered quite quickly by another lady. She took my order number and looked it up, told me order was out for delivery that day. 3pm builders took delivery.
I’ve got no complaints about the service at all. Maybe I’m lucky but was all as advertised and expected.
Small criticism, they don’t say a company name when answering just “Hi, xxxx speaking” …. But maybe they are operating several businesses through one set of numbers. Not unusual nowadays.
At their prices I’ll definitely give them another go.

Goods were delivered to the wrong address, no notice of delivery given , and told I have to go and pick them up. I will, and will send them the bill
Terrible service and attitude

Please avoid this company if you need your parts urgently, so much time wasted chasing my order and it was still wrong

Ordered 4 small plastic caps £6 delivery was £8.95
Didn’t get any emails on progress of delivery - neighbour brought the parcel to us 6 days after ordering (no note put through our door telling us parcel left with neighbour)
Postage expensive for something so small delivery company not good
Not impressed with this will not order from this company again

I looked at the reviews before ordering and was a bit concerned about the rating but I needn't have worried. Having looked at other suppliers it was only Plastics Express that could supply all the items I wanted in one order, their prices are good and the delivery charge is sensible. Placed the order at the weekend so the earliest dispatch would have been Monday. The order arrived Tuesday morning, pipe and variety of fittings all together, all correct and good quality.

Choose Plastics Express because of prices and product range. Placed order Friday lunchtime expecting best possible delivery the following Tuesday. No problems calling them a couple of hours later to add items I'd missed from the order. Didn't receive email confirming changes so emailed over weekend to query. Then read these reviews and was concerned to say the least. Shouldn't have taken any notice - email received confirming changes Monday morning and everything delivered Tuesday!

Excellent prices, wide range of products including some I have not seen elsewhere. Delivery was next day. Only sour to experience was local DX delivery missed one of the 6 packages when loading van and took 4 working days to visit again.

Ok prices, just can't deliver on time

Ordered a selection of fittings and pipe, the fittings arrived next day and the pipe a couple of days later. I did email regarding the pipe and was updated on the arrival day which was the following day. I wasn't expecting next day delivery so can't complain, only thing which could be better would be tracking numbers being provided to save hassling the company. The products were of good quality so overall very happy, was concerned by other bad reviews at first...

Ordered pipe and fittings Delivery man only delivered two lengths of pipe and fittings. So Im unable to complete my drainage project, Still waiting for the missing 3mtr pipe and using next doors toilet. Poor service

Firstly 'Express' certainly doesn't describe the service. Their prices are cheap but unfortunately so is the service. They don't seem to answer the phone or reply to any emails. I have so far received only 1 item of the 4 ordered and I am still waiting for the remaining items.
Wish I had checked these reviews first. I certainly wouldn't use this company again.

I ordered some drainage products and they arrived within a few days of purchase. I did not check out the company on Trustpilot before the order, only to do so afterwards. Reading the very negative reviews made me nervous about my decision to order from this company, but I can only comment on my own experience and it has been excellent, hence the five star rating.

I wish I had read these reviews before I bought items from this company. I was swayed by the very reasonable prices...big mistake. My order of 7 items came by two separate couriers 4 days apart and over a week from the order. The items arent very good quality either, the rubber seals seem very hard and dont give a very good fit. Customer service was poor. AVOID, go to Screwfix, pay the extra, get good quality stuff THE SAME DAY!

items never arrived, been waiting a month no response to email, used to be good, not now!!!!!

Awful company.. used them in the past but lately their orders have never turned up or in split orders weeks too late.. you cannot get a response from then via email or telephone.

Do not use!!! They will just cost in time and money waiting for the materials.. many other companies out there similar prices and you get it next day if you order before 5pm.

Plastic Express take your money quick enough but awful unprofessional company will never ever us again..

Great service. Delivered in four working days to Highlands. Would be five stars if had notification of dispatch, rather than only acknowledgement of order. Will use again.
