I am a Blackjack player, but...

I am a Blackjack player. Created an account and played during Covid. Had a bad experience so never re-deposited cash. Went back again December 2025 and had the exact same bad experience; that is a completely unnatural flow of the cards. You will be permitted to win a bit, and your cash balance will rise, after which the computer decides you've played long enough and you will lose, lose, lose lose with the "dealer" winning 85% of the hands. A completely unnatural and not even subtle flow of the cards. Find a more realistic site.

Caution! pls read

I m an alberta resident and thought ok cant be possibly any worse than Jackpot city that I was playing and lets just say covid got started and chased mylosses to the tune of almost 200grand . Yup stupid but IM retired and single now so none to leave it to. I know judge me if you like as its truly a bad excuse. Got addicted. Then switched to play Ab in early 2024 ish. Money stays here in Alberta and its regulated by alta govt. Have since lost almost every time played . recorded my sessions . Never won over 800 dollars but have since lost approx another 150 ,000 give or take. no longer deposit more than 600 now as a daily limit . never seen anything like it! I play almost 85% bj maybe bitof slots. its like i can tell you the cards before they come like some bad algorithm? i ve tried to stay away from the online bj as its the worst . Live bj has not been kind at all but that must be real as its a live dealer? The online however is unreal . over 150 sessions tracked and it can literally win 10-12 hands in a row especially if you your bet. Doubles futile. 20 is met with dealer 21. I play now as I find it comical and truly unreal. I now I should just give this money to a better cause but I thought I was but now read its no longer even managed by AGLC ? Is this money I contribute even going back to needy Albertans? If there are others that have played as much on this site as I have and do not agree with my post I would love to hear from you . I have been truly embarrassed as a loyal Albertan to have felt a need to post this.

This site is a scam I am not sure where it is actually hosted but it has no government oversight
This is the algorithm they employ.
You deposit loose almost all hit big like maybe 100 times your bet then back to zero
I have played many other sites and you win some loose some but on play you will loose every single time.
I can’t wait for the class action on this site sad thing is no one will see jail time

Play Alberta is a legal scam

Play Alberta is a legal scam, if you win $50 on $10000, they take another $1000 to offset the $50. Zero return on investment. Complete scam. If you withdraw $10, burns you for another $500. Zero regulation, zero RTP.

Site is closing it's doors shutting down

Non-operational and non-functional. Site is closing down due to lack of users. They are just collecting as much money as possible before the shutdown. First noticed by the Daily Jackpot Sudden low balance, never gets higher than 100 dollars when it used to get into the thousands. AGLC confirms Playalberta is shutting its doors due to lack of users.

Bonus code ripoff

Purchased $100 Oilers 50/50 what’s supposed to receive $25 Bet bonus and $25 Casino bonus took 9 business days to recite the bonus codes and they didn’t work was told play alberta was aware of the issue and it would be resolved shortly. Code’s never did work after they expired I filled out the contract form on play alberta relaying my experience with dates. It’s been a week and no response. What ripoff.

Play Alberta is supposed to be a…

Play Alberta is supposed to be a government monitored outlet but nobody monitors it and its the most shameless rigged ripoff you can imagine. On November the 15th at 12:10 MST support is ignoring my concerns about cheating and very suspicious house bots, and suspicious dealer behavior with their hands and suspicious intermissions.. It was a lightning blackjack table.
I am not new to this. Believe the trustpilot on this issue. You will lose way outside of standard deviation at this online casino. May as well save your time and give to a thug on the street directly

In depth 2 year study of play alberta …

I’ve wagered over $109,000 on Play Alberta’s platform across two tax periods. Despite their advertised 95% RTP, my actual return was only 90.72%, resulting in a shortfall of nearly $4,763.60 in expected winnings.

I deposited $12,253 and withdrew just $2,320, leaving me with a real cash loss of $9,933. These aren’t small numbers — they reflect high-volume play and a consistent underperformance compared to what’s promised.

Here’s a breakdown of my data:

`
Period: Dec 2024 – Dec 2025

Total Purchases: $109,000.00
Total Wins: $99,355.25
Deposits: $12,253.00
Withdrawals: $2,320.00
Net Cash Loss: –$9,933.00
Actual RTP: 90.72%

Expected Wins at 95% RTP: $104,118.85
Shortfall vs Expected: –$4,763.60
`

If Play Alberta’s RTP claims were accurate, I should have received $104,118.85 in winnings — not $99,355.25. That’s a $4,763.60 gap.

I’ve asked Play Alberta for transparency on how RTP is calculated and whether it applies uniformly across all games. If you’re a serious player, I strongly recommend tracking your own data. The numbers don’t lie.

This company is a pure scam

This company is a pure scam. You just keep on depositing the money and it will never come back to you. $500 spins on a game and best hit was $15. Playing with decent bet. Free spins that would be a miracle on this site and even with free spins you get nothing. Don’t waste your money like I did. Biggest mistake ever made

Useless Site

Can never login. They never send an access code even if the login and password are correct and well within the the year time frame since last login. Only started to notice the issue after the website updated and they added the app. Lucky I only spent a small amount on Lotto Max tickets a couple of times. Never tried the tables or slots, not my thing.

6 deposits in a row not even one hit

6 deposits in a row not even one hit. Daytime is officially confirmed dont do it. Wait until the evening. They do all the service and maintenance in the day. 2 Games stuck in bonus rounds cant recover the games. One I got all wild then it crashed. Went 36 deposits without a chance to withdrawal. I stopped using the site for a couple weeks, then tried it again, but instant regret. There is bad like a flat tire in a blizzard then there is playalberta bad. I just went 300 spins with hits of 7.20$ I play the same games mainly with high RTP but never get one. I dont think there are any actual winners. The site should be audited. It really should. All AGLC does is apologize and say they will look into it. But nothing happens. There is no oversight. The other sites give you a chance to go ten percent below deposit to withdraw. Playalberta goes straight to zero like its a race to the bottom. Its terrible.

THE BAD &THE UGLY

Some People say Play Alberta is not real that they are a scam. That is not true if you're on the correct website playalberta.ca

THE BAD &THE UGLY

I've been waiting 21 days for Play Alberta (NeoPollard Interactive) to fix my problem "this time". I have another problem that hasn't been resolved and it's been more than two months. Their support call center agents regurgitate the scripted answers. They give conflicting information. If you get your problem escalated to a supervisor, that is another bad experience. If the supervisor isn't doing anything and you want to complain to a manager. That is not going to happen. Agents will never give you a Manager's name or contact information. There are not always supervisors in the customer call centre. Games crash all the time. The system logs you out randomly. They only have one way for you to retrieve your account. In my case, I'm not receiving emails from Play Alberta and I'm trying to reset my password and they email you a code. Doesn't help in my situation. Ive been told the only way to change my email address is to send it to them by mail. Snail Mail to be exact. There new app is atrocious. They keep trying to put square pegs into round holes. Why AGLC let the app be released with so many problems is beyond me. It does suggest that the customers and their experiences aren't important. It's all about the profits they make. A lot of people say they don't win. This has not been the case for me Ive been playing for a few years and have won significantly large amounts of money on numerous occasions. Of course I've had days where I couldn't win a dime if my life depended on it. There is no system of accountability for any one that works there. Some Agents give you a survey link at the end of your chat. It never works. If AGLC Play Alberta had an accountabiity matrix in place. They wouldn't be making new deals to spend more money with NeoPollard. (AGLC stands for Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commision.)

Same as everyone else

Same as everyone else, you never win on anything. Even when their odds say you should, you can spend hundreds of dollars before ever seeing free spins. Also if you do win a certain amount and continue playing, you end up losing everything you gained even though you've spun over 100 times.
