How can I get my money back? I order baby supplies and got a wallet not even close to what it's worth. I should have known it was a scam.

Like so many others, I ordered a cool RGB LED clock kit and instead I received a cheap naff wallet. I have complained and the company's website is no longer up and running. It is a pure scam. Offered a 1/3 price settlement which I have not taken and await further advice from Paypal. $33 possibly down the chute. As others have stated on here, do not buy from Facebook adverts as the risk is too high. I feel silly but as I can see from this website, I am NOT alone!

Add me to the number of people who ordered the clock and got a cheap wallet.
Today I went to check on my order and, lo and behold, their website is unavailable. Hmm, wonder if they will respond to my request for a refund, will probably have to go thru PayPal.
Avoid these people like the plague.

Ordered the RGB clock kit, got sent a wallet. Thankfully the website is now down, I reported them to Facebook for false advertising/fraud, escalated a claim through paypal and was able to get a full refund (after turning down the seller's offer of 20% and then "send it back" lol as if)

Additionally a rep of Paypal informed me that whatever account the store was using has been suspended, so they may not even get the money.

I ordered the laser engraving machine that was supposed to come from Canada but somehow was being sent from China.. I ended up with a cheap ring that isn’t even filed down all the way. This Christmas present turned into crap!

Got the wallet today, not a thing like the clock i ordered and paid for, I started sending emails after reading these reviews. same run around, please send pictures of what i received, sorry for the delay, all bs, the website is now down, but do not do business with these scum. I hammered them with emails for 2 weeks, got a response everytime butit was for offers of less than what i paid, they finally relented and paid up

Ordered a car tent cabin. Value €30. Received a tiny necklace, value €3. Apparently, I am not the only one.

UPDATE. Playsdom.com is hosted by godaddy.com and registered with domainsbyproxy.com
That is a construction to keep the real identity of domain owners secret. Domainsbyproxy only releases domain owner identities when there is a lawsuit going on.

IS THERE A WAY TO SUE THEM BY CLASS ACT?

its a shame that facebook have advertiser of this kind, now i wont buy anything over facebook forever

Like so many others here, I ordered an 'RGB pseudo glow tube clock' from Playsdom, but all I got was a cheap men's wallet.
They have ignored all of my emails, and now their Web site has disappeared.
Total scam artists!

Ordered a typewriter-style keyboard that is lavishly advertised on Facebook. Received an email a month ago that it had shipped. Shipping number included but under "Carrier" it said "Other." Tried the number on several carrier's sites. No record of the number. Links to playsdom go to "Store Unavailable" notice. No doubt my money is gone, and I'll never see anything.

I like many others I ordered a clock and received a cheap throwaway wallet of faux leather. Because I did not want and have no need for a wallet I asked for a refund. I was offered at first a 35% refund to keep from the hassle of returning the "mistakenly shipped" item. I declined and the countered with 45% and lastly 55%. They said they would give a full refund but only after they received their product back and verified it was in perfect saleable condition (like it was actually worth something in the first place...). But I would be responsible for shipping it back to China. BUT knowing that unlike China the US does not subsidize shipping costs and it would be 2-3 times the cost just to return the item. They did offer to refund the shipping cost to me once they received the return. But that would have meant that I would have trusted them to honor their word (I did NOT). They hoped I would just give up and let them keep my money. I did not. I escalated the complaint to PayPal. At first they were not much help as the seller merely only agreed to a refund AFTER the junk wallet was returned. Again on my dime to ship back. I had to reach out to PayPal outside the claim and request additional assistance. I added the link to this review page and the following quote from another review:
"Merchants who ship unordered merchandise with knowledge that it is unlawful to do so can be subject to civil penalties of up to $42,530 per violation. Moreover, customers who receive unordered merchandise are legally entitled to treat the merchandise as a gift. Using the U.S. mails to ship unordered merchandise also violates the Postal laws."
I hope this helps someone else get back all of their money after falling victim to an obvious SCAM. playsdom.com has NO honor. They are not to be trusted and need to understand that this kind of behavior should Not be tolerated. They pray on peoples fear and use other issues to bully and shame others into submitting to their SCAM.

Purchased a pseudo glow tube clock and received a garbage wallet. Avoid at all costs.

Same old story, ordered the clock, got the crappy wallet. They wanted me to go to the PO and see how much it would cost to send the wallet back. Not playing that game. Told them I needed an immediate full refund or I would let PayPal deal with them. Had a refund the next day.

I Bought the RGB Clock, and got a cheap fake leather wallet.. what a scam! I contacted them and they offered 40% refund.. what a joke.. I have now escalated this to paypal, like so many others have.

Complete fraud. For whatever reason, Facebook will advertise their products, and PayPal will allow transactions, but they either never send the item (my case) or send something completely different than described (hundreds of others on Facebook).

Total SCAM. Same like everyone else: I ordered a Laser Engraving Machine and got the cheap wallet. All those nicely written emails to try and persuade me to accept a 30% refund, are just part of the scam.
I escalated to PayPal who asked me to involve local authorities. I did. Paypal just reimbursed me. Nevertheless, Playsdom even tried to make another counteroffer. This was just to jam the Paypal dispute workflow in the tool which had to be overwritten after I called Paypal and the supervisor read the whole thread. Only then the case was closed to my favor. This just shows that Playsdom knows very well the workflow from Paypal in the dispute tool, so don‘t fall on that. These are professional scammers operating under different names.

I wonder if Chinese government is interested in knowing this. Currently, doing business with chinese companies means getting ripped off. It is in their culture to screw the westerns.
The few exceptions of good chinese companies that operate fairly are only because probably westerns are in their quality control.

Cant give lower than a 1 star. Dont order from them. You will get a cheap wallet instead of your order. Big SCAM!!!!

Like many others here, I ordered an item from Playsdom.com and received a wallet. I disputed the charge with Paypal, and Playsdom offered to give me back US$10.00 of a US$34 charge. Nope, they don't get to keep 2/3 of the money they effectively stole from me. The dispute it still being reviewed by Paypal.

Scam.... Scam.... Scam.... Just like everyone else I placed and order for the Clock and like everyone else I got a crappy cheap wallet! Send us the wallet back they said but shipping is four times the cost of the product. Bait and Switch. They advertise on Facebook and I've contacted them to take them down and only got we will look into it. Shame on you playsdome!
