Horrible Console, Worse Customer Service

My sons playstation just went black, turned itself on and wont turn back on just weeks after the 1 year warranty was up. We took it to a repair shop that tells us it is not economical to repair, contact playstation and have gotten nothing but the runaround with no solution. We need to provide a year old receipt and then were told once we do that they may or may not look at it but no gaurantee they will help at all.

Playstation is so disconnected from…

Playstation is so disconnected from their customers its ridiculous...auto pay set up a year ago amd forgot about it and they charged me 134.99 for year sub 1 day after charging my account I tried to reverse it and they said they wouldn't do it ...havent used my Playstation in 8 months and it doesnt matter to Playstation because they've helped me once before back in 2022...horrible how they treat their own customers

Got a warning for blocking another…

Got a warning for blocking another player who was trying to grief me i asked customer services to help remove the warning and got hit with bots even when I asked for a real person absolute joke it just kept disconnecting my account and I had to keep signing in so I couldn't even get to far with the complaint disgraceful company

Can’t Login

PlayStation is the worst. I’ve always had a plantation from PS1 to PS5. I lost access to my email and now I can’t login to my system because of the two way authentication nonsense. Then support got the nerve to tell me to use another email which means I lose all my progress over the years with all my games, this BS. They need to make things easier for those of us with this situation as it could happen to anyone and it’s not fair that they suggest using another email disregarding all the hard work someone has put into gaming all these years.

It is not safe to communicate, make or buy any content at all on this platform!

I have reactivated an account after several years just two days ago. I have only played one game and only sent 4 typed messages in the in-game chat. Those messages are completely innocuous and unreportable. In one, I simply apologise. In another, I tell everyone my brain broke. In another I said "push to pass for 12th in a daily lol?", which is an extremely tepid criticism in the form of a question. One other I forgot but it was 2 words, inoffensive and again talking about myself.

One of these messages was reported, presumably by a disgruntled loser. PSN does not tell you who, which message or any information at all. They claim to have done an investigation, which can only be a lie. They claim to have done "careful consideration", which is also clearly a lie. I know these to be lies because I'm one of the few people who can say they have only sent 4 completely innocuous messages.

I also tested reporting some of the spam/scam messages I have received historically and within a matter of minutes all 6 reports were reviewed (obviously not by humans) and I got a nice little message telling me they had all breached and action had been taken. So PSN is giving cry bullies a tool to bully others and then a nice message to give them their satisfaction of knowing they have ruined someone else's day as well.

After looking online, there are plenty of others with experiences like this and any message can be reported by anyone for no reason at all, and clearly PSN will uphold regardless of the message. Therefore, the advice is to avoid all forms of communication or user generated content on the platform as you are at risk of losing everything. In addition, NEVER buy anything digital, because you are liable to lose it.

Absolutely awful!

Absolutely awful!! I ordered a PS5 controller as the first one was cancelled (with no explanation at all) the second one has now also been cancelled saying it's "out of stock" yet it still allowed me to go through check out and pay! It's also still allowing me to add it to the basket even though it's apparently out of stock. Good luck trying to get any sense out of customer services too. Never buying direct from them again!

Can’t change region on account

Can’t change region on account. Forced to make a new email to use ps plus and doesn't apply to my old account so can’t access those games. What a scam! Getting my refund for sure.

Playstation (NO) support

They make it so hard to get the help you need and you don't get any kind of 'support' at all. All they care about it taking your money. I ourchased the wrong version of a game and jist because i've downloaded it they refuse to help refund me so I can purchase the correct version. I wont be using the Playstation store to buy any future games, i'm glad I have the disk version.

Pathetic

One of the worst customer services on the planet! I'm getting harassed via message on PlayStation yet I'm the one getting warnings! I reported this to PlayStation and guess what!? Yep it fell on deaf ears yet again! Being mentally ill I find it very distressing when I'm getting warned because of others being idiots! Well get lost PlayStation and your pathetic service.

Worth service i have seen

I never this, the worth service in the world, they don't care about nothing
I try to remove my account from 2017 form ps4 because it has my email, no one can and send you the same message everytime.
Worth service in the world, I'm going to sell the ps5 for a pc

Terrible customer support

Having to connect with a live agent is unbeareable, especially with the time difference. The waiting time is so bad, it appears that they don’t even have a queuing system or and the “5mins” wait time is such a scam. How can a multi-billion dollar company have the worst customer support? Its really terrible. Very very bad.

I've been a customer since PS1 ...I now…

I've been a customer since PS1 ...I now own a PS5. I have never ever asked for a refund for any online purchase ever. I spoke to Alex in customer service over the phone and he updated me on the policy as far as returns go. I explained to him that I was unaware that I had a 14 day window to make a return. I asked if there was anything they could do to help, they said no. I then talk to a online rep and told them my case #50263534 and they said the same thing. I told them before this escalates to a review are they sure they wanted to take this ride and here I am...Im hard but fair and I would say "Great Company" no compassion and piss poor customer service. I'm a dedicated PlayStation consumer...but so disappointed.

Not a trustworthy company

I bought my son robux and immediately took my card info off as I always do. He had a sleepover and the next morning I wake up to a fraud alert and every penny was gone in my account…I reached out to PlayStation support right away asking for a refund and to take back the items that were bought without my consent, they said no sorry we can’t do that because it’s been downloaded and had an excuse for everything. I had no money for food for my kids and they didn’t care and were extremely rude. I reached out for weeks and than finally after reaching out again they said sorry can’t help you because it’s been over 14 days even though I reached out the following morning. Be careful when removing you’re card because it said card sincerely removed but when I went back in that morning my card was back up and it actually took me 5 more times of signing in and out until the card truly was removed. Not trusting company!!!!!

Expensive price for poor service

Downloaded a game $50. It said I needed a patch, another $30. After all this, it said I needed a subscription. Tried to get refund for all this inert code, but they wouldn't because I downloaded it.

How does a multi-billion-dollar company…

How does a multi-billion-dollar company not have a customer support email? Seriously, PlayStation, you’ve taken my money and there’s no clear way to contact you to get it back. It’s beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable.

Customer support should be the bare minimum, yet it feels impossible to actually reach a real person when something goes wrong. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in PlayStation.

At this point, PlayStation is dead to me. Might be time for everyone to switch to Xbox.
