Best BDMS

Love using Plenti, the team are great. Excellent system. Bridie, Marlenn and Tahlia are always on hand to workshop deals that go through seamlessly.

Outstanding Broker Support

One of my recent brokers Joesph based in SA recently completed his first Plenti consumer deal. With the support Bridie his BDM he was able to have the deal submitted, approved and drawn down in the same day. Because of the support BDM’s like Bridie provide my brokers I will highly recommend Plenti to my brokers not just because of the product offering but because of the people and the passion those BDMs bring to the equation.

Plenti Experience - Savvy Broker

Plenti have excelled in broker communication and speed, I have had multiple occasions where applications have been approved and settled in the same day, with the assistance of my BDM Bridie everything has been made easy.

Plenti have a clear and strong product guide, which makes it easy for us brokers to understand which deals will fit, and if there are any questions, the support team and BDM's are always supportive.

Couldn't recommend higher.

A very frustrating customer experience

I recently signed up to purchase a solar panel/battery system and the supplier offered a "no upfront capital" option. After looking at the associated interest free loan option with Plenti, I worked out that the interest I would earn by leaving the money in my bank account would exceed the fees associated with the loan, so proceeded with that loan option.
My trouble started with using the online application form, basically if I made a typo or error, I was unable to correct it, and had to start over again, but in the end the application was submitted.
At 8.40am the next day I received an email advising that the loan was declined, followed by an email at 8.52am asking me for further information, the same email then being sent again at 8.53am, and a further email at 8.58am, telling me the loan was declined, even though I had no had a chance to provide any further information. I talked with Plenti customer service later that morning, and they asked me for further information, which I provided at 10.03am, and received an auto response that they had recieved my email and that they would respond within 24 to 48 hours. No surprise but I did not get a response from them within that time frame, so I called again and they agreed to get back to me later that day, which they did, again declining my application.
After reading through similar reviews on Plenti, I noticed that the response from Plenti was word perfect to my decline emails, appearing to be a generic response. I am retired, receiving both the Centrelink pension and a pension from my superannuation fund, have no debts, have savings and ample servicing ability for the loan, own my home freehold and, according to the credit agency that Plenti use have an excellent credit history. I downloaded the credit report from the quoted credit agency. This seems very similar to the situation experienced by other people providing feedback via Trustpilot, and the generic response and reason for declining the loan really do not make financial sense. Surely there is no reluctance to finance loans to retired people in strong financial positions.
In conclusion, based on the customer experience I have had, I really have no desire to have any dealings with Plenti, and have paid for my solar from my savings.
The first credit application that I have ever had declined in my lifetime of 70 years.

The Team at Plenti are awesome

The Team at Plenti are awesome! Bridie, Tahlia, Tash, Tom and Marlenn know their products well and are always a short call/txt/email away for assistance. The Plenti portal is user friendly too. If Plenti could do a 'rate-beat' (and also lower the tenure time for casuals etc) this would make Plenti first choice, every time.
