Bought a 'Mains Switch' from plumbbox, spent 85 quid on it and wasn't happy. Left an honest review on their site and realised all reviews go through them first. Because my review wasn't to their liking, they didn't upload it to their product page on their site to protect their rating.

So if you see the mains switch and think "hmm, 5 stars. Cheaper than other products. I'll try it" - don't. This way of showing reviews for their products is completely crooked and wrong. This is the review I would have left, had they not deleted it to protect their ratings:

Have previously used the ‘mains link’ from RF solutions on boiler installs which never had problem with. Was recommended mains switch as its cheaper so thought Id try it out on next boiler install job to save me money. Service from Plumbbox was fast however the product I’m bitterly disappointed with. Mains switch cheap product costed me more in time on job than cheap price of it. Ironic! The receiver wired to pump failed to regularly get an ON signal which caused all kinds of problems in turning pump ON/OFF. Feel of the product is cheap and inexpensive. Also isn’t bi directional which means you would have to buy TWO of these cheap boxes of 85 quid wasted to get signal travel back and forth. Lesson learned = buy cheap buy twice.

Ask yourself: why have they only got 5 (or so) reviews and they're ALL good when the product has been around for years? I know!

Happy with products, could have been packed better to limit any damage ie: products rolling around in larger box with no padding

Anyway to be fair they apologised for not getting back to me and offered me a refund on the wrong parts purchased. I can now buy a couple of new RT313's and I'll have to change them myself

Absolutely smooth from beginning to end! Certainly a company worthy of a recommendation.

Item not installed yet, however delivery was next day pre 10 am and foc as described. Price was excellent, at least £55 cheaper than other suppliers.

Absolutely poor, asked for stock availability for 3 days and requests are completely ignored, would avoid at all costs and go to a supplier who can answer questions.

5 Star service, Competitive pricing

Brought a Worcester Combi Boiler 40kw Greenstar online direct. paid for next day delivery on a Saturday and it didn’t come it was a bank holiday on the Monday so could not get hold of anyone. On the Tuesday I rang them and was told they didn’t do that boiler any more and I could have a refund. Then had to purchase the boiler from somewhere else which then took another day. Leaving my client with no boiler for 5 days and yet the site is still advertising this boiler.

Ordered a Mains Switch RF Pump solution. It arrived the next day and was nicely boxed with a packet of Viennetta Whirls. Can't complain!...

Well actually, there is one small on. The parcel was delivered by Parcel Force who don't allow you to give directions for the drop-off, such as "leave behind the bins", which was a bit annoying.
