I have used my Pluxee card many times at many shops, it is really good with the cash back offers, and really easy to use, I have been in contact with customer services a few times, they were really helpful and sorted my issues out.

Initially I thought this was a good card, but when something goes wrong, there is no one to speak to and it is pot luck as to whether it gets sorted. I tried to purchase a £130 item using the Pluxee card on the Argos website, but it rejected the card 3 times even though there was over £200 loaded (and showing as such). I went to Argos in person the next day, where payment was rejected again. I showed the cashier the £200 total on my Pluxee screen, which dropped before our eyes to £70, suggesting the online payment had been submitted! Argos checked and no payment had been taken by them. I then loaded more money, bought the item, but had been charged twice by Pluxee. I couldn’t speak to a real person, but after almost a week, my emails worked and £130 was then credited back to my account. Only when something goes wrong did I realise the very poor customer service options available. Have a look at your account - see how difficult it is to find working /efficient contact numbers/ email. No problems with Spree card, but Pluxee has been very poor.

Previously a satisfied customer however this was based on ease of use. Last night I was notified of transactions on my card that were not mine. Immediately blocked the card and called the number provided in the push notification numerous times - each time the call has been disconnected with no response. Tried again this morning in office hrs and the same happened. How are we supposed to report? The 'contact us' response advised 72hr response! This is unacceptable for such a serious issue where the advice is to contact the 'hotline'

I was so grateful for the assistance I received. I had been sent a voucher payment for some voluntary work I had completed. As I have dementia IT can sometimes prove challenging, but the plain English response was incredibly helpful and ideal to my needs

Oh dear - very poor experience with Pluxee. Transferred £500 from my bank account to my Pluxee card. After 30 minutes the money still didn't appear on my Pluxee account. After waiting 20 minutes on the phone to get through I was finally told that the reason my money didn't appear was that my card had expired. Pluxee knew this but hadn't issued a replacement. They still took my money even though they knew I didn't have a card I could use. When I asked for my money to be returned they reluctantly agreed but cannot give me a timescale for the return. Why did they take my money when they knew I had no way of accessing it?

It took a while to get sorted and still not sure if it's done yet, will find out when we go shopping. The website I found difficult to use even my two young sons couldn't do it so it took a couple of phone calls to get sorted, still don't know if it's okay will find out when we go shopping.
