I wanted to feedback on the positive post completion care I received from Esme from Pm Property lawyers. I was having no luck getting information or indeed collaboration from the managing agent of the leasehold flat I had bought, about correctly allocating the money paid by the seller side for the apportioned service charge to my flat account.

After relentless follow up with different people and departments, eventually Esme got to the bottom of where the money had been incorrectly allocated. I could not be more thankful to her for solving the issue for me.

Esme has been absolutely fantastic in handling my post-completion matter. She kept me informed every step of the way, chased all parties diligently and showed genuine persistence in getting the issue resolved. Her professionalism, clear communication and dedication made a stressful situation much easier to manage. I’m truly grateful for her support and highly recommend her.

Everything ran smoothly, great communication and very helpful. Cannot fault Amy and Ryan.

This firm represented the buyer of my property. The buyer and I were exceptionally frustrated by the extremely slow conveyancing and the fact that you cannot directly contact the person conducting the work.
The whole process took 10 weeks longer than necessary, costing the buyer an additional 2 months' rent and costing me additional mortgage fees/council tax etc.
Even as someone who doesn't frequently buy or sell property, I was amazed at their inefficiency and haphazard methods of conducting a pretty regular process.
My solicitor was equally frustrated with the poor service provided.

As first time buyers we are very grateful for the level of service we have received so far. We received a quote for the service on a weekend and by the Tuesday after we had received contact from our admin assistant Rebecca who has been very helpful and proactive with our case. We have found communication to be on point via email and through the PMPL app which was easy to set up and navigate. We have been able to send money across easily and these payments have been processed in a timely manner to keep the pace of the process smooth and efficient. As we are completely new to the process of house buying we didn’t know what to expect but it has been smooth sailing thus far and would recommend to any first time buyer.

They were first class in every respect. Definately the best experience I have ever had with a Conveyencer. It all went smoothly and the inevitable stresses for me were smoothed out by them efortlessly. I particularly like their on-line case tracking system and associated notifications. The fee was better than others I have used, but I conclude by thanking Karine specifically, she was so kind and helpful. Don't hesitate to employ them.

Very efficient and attended to matters in a timely manner. I knew exactly who was dealing with my case and could easily make contact if necessary.

Shocked to be basically 'scammed' by this firm. I'd asked for conveyancing quotes from 'Really Moving' and although I didn't get one from them I have now received an invoice to open the file. How are they even allowed to do this?

We picked this company on price alone and soon found we'd made a terrible mistake! First, we were given the names of two people who would handle our purchase of a house. We never heard from them. Instead, we received emails from a number of different people, many of whom asked questions which had already been answered. At one point we complained that no progress was being made, and received a reply that 'the average time to complete a sale is 12 weeks'. We had soon passed that target and were still no nearer completion, even though it was a cash purchase of an empty property, with no chain. Finally, after about 4 months we received an email from a brand new (to us) member of staff who stated he was checking the final points of the sale. He then asked questions we had previously answered several times. At this point we approached another company who than took over the transaction and completed the house purchase from beginning to end in only a few weeks.
In all honesty, I believe PM Property Lawyers are the most inept company I have ever encountered. We never met any member of staff - the entire transaction was handled via email. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend them even to my worst enemy.

Appalling communication and customer service. Our buyers have used this solicitor and we're currently a month delayed. Apparently every document they receive they need a week to "process" and then a final week to sign off a file. By contrast, every other solicitor in the chain can do this in less than a day. They consistently do not answer emails and their phone number goes round in a loop. They are also completely immovable so even though all the OTHER SOLICITORS in our chain of four have complained, nothing can be done. We've worked towards a July moving date from the beginning of the purchase in March, and we now risk the chain collapsing because this company do not have any urgency. Do not use.

I am still in the early stages of my sale and buying next house.But the way the initial stage has been completed within first week of opening the file with PM Property Lawyers, Clear communication and the progress has been impressive.So Well done So far and i hope it'll be smooth and quick going forward too.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the service I received throughout my recent house purchase with your firm.

What initially began as a promising and professional relationship quickly deteriorated into an incredibly stressful and disheartening experience — especially as a first-time buyer, when clear communication and reliable guidance are critical.

After the first few months of engagement, the level of communication drastically declined. I found myself constantly having to chase updates, request progress, and follow up on actions that I expected to be handled as part of the service I was paying for. On several occasions, important documents were only received because I proactively called or sent recorded deliveries to ensure they were received and acknowledged. Had I not taken this initiative, I am concerned that the purchase may not have completed at all.

This lack of communication and professionalism caused unnecessary stress, delays, and left me feeling like I was doing the majority of the work myself — work that I had hired and trusted your firm to manage. It’s genuinely difficult to understand how a business can operate with such poor internal systems and disregard for client service.

I hope you take this feedback seriously, as no client should have to endure such a poor standard of service, particularly during such a significant milestone in their life.

Seamless and swift movement through the administrative process

I engaged PM Property Law via an ‘introducer’ (Home Legal Direct). I found them to be thorough, professional and courteous. My transaction was a fairly straightforward one, no chain on either side and funds in place. The conveyancing took longer than I would have expected, however PM gave me an approximate timescale at the start of the process and more or less stuck to it. The fee was extremely competitive and reasonable. I’m fully aware that I could have engaged a local high street solicitor who could have done the work in half the time at quadruple the price. I wasn’t in any hurry and was impressed by the service I received. I am happy to recommend this company.

Heather and Karine were absolutely phenomenal. Both absolute powerhouses and always kind and professional.

The process of purchasing property internationally is not an easy feat and they were able to keep up with an absolutely dizzying amount of information and paperwork. I would wholeheartedly recommend PM property lawyers to anyone.
