They cancelled my crossing and offered me a voucher instead, and I wasn't said I have to use it straight away from first time, I just booked one way and thought I'll book return later and I realized that I can't do it, my money is gone because I only ally to use voucher once, so if you have outstanding money on a voucher they take it from you! Be careful with this robbing company

I don't think P and O ever answer their phone enquiries on the 0330 numbers. I have waited 75 minutes so far today. If I could give them no stars - I would. They are a disgrace!! A. Wilson

Prime example of no regard for Covid precautions on Cairnryan / Larne crossing. Clearly loaded to normal capacity with no way of social distancing anywhere other than outside in the chilly winds. Huge numbers of returning football supporters running around everywhere with no masks. as the drink went in what little wit they had soon went out.
Clearly profit before customer care on the most expensive ferry crossing anywhere.
Wasteland
We had to wait for almost an hour in the port which is a wasteland. This is despite arriving 80 minutes before the departure of our ferry we missed due to queues. We were told there were no electric car charging facilities by several people but happened upon a charger as we walked about looking for diversion for our children.
Absolute garbage
Absolute garbage. Four hours getting frustrated at the port because there were no staff around for the whole time or wouldnt answer the service request Bell. THE TWO VENDING MACHINES WERE FAULTY AND LABELLED OUT OF ORDER. The cafe was closed. The only saving grace was a Security lady took pity on me and made me a coffee from her office and gave me 3 chocolate biscuits which saved me as I had ridden 300 miles that day and there were no services working. Cattle are treated better than this for christ sake!!!
Then suddenly staff appear 20 mins before check in time ends like they just got outa bed. I complained and got a string of excuses. Waited 40 mins on quayside with no info from staff.
Finally boarded and Head straight for the food Court and was told they would open in 15 mins. Waited politely for 45 mins then complained to bar staff. Told it would be another 10 or 20 mins late.
5 mins later a Manager arrived to apologise and try to placate me and I told her what terrible service they were providing both onland and at sea and she offered a customer service number and I refused it as I was going to give them this s**t review. All staff were miserable and apoeared over tired and pissed off. How safe are we when travelling with people who are managed so badly that they are so tired and downtrodden? ZERO OUT OF TEN FOR THIS SERVICE.
Pet friendly cabin is not pet friendly
They won’t allow a cat in a pet friendly cabin.
Also, terrible terrible customer service.
Way too expensive.
I’m so sorry, but PO Ferries is a disgrace.
Great Customer Service
I have had great customer service from the team. I have had to reschedule several times because of travel restrictions and have been given travel vouchers meaning I am not out of pocket and have plenty of time to choose a date/time to travel.
Very Unfair treatment by P&O
We paid for a ferry crossing from Hull to Rotterdam in 2019 to leave in May 2020 but the pandemic kicked in and we had to keep cancelling until I requested a refund of our £446.24 but we were refused because we booked a “Saver” crossing. P&O said we can re book until December 2021 then we lose all of our money. Under the current circumstances I find this very unfair and we cannot just up and go whenever we please so we lose all of this money without receiving the service that we paid for. After paying out thousands on cruises and endless ferry crossings, I will never use P&O again and I recommend that other people avoid using them too.

So arrived at Hull and was told I had to do a latteral flow test at a cost of 34 pounds. These are free from the NHS so complained and asked why do a I need a latteral flow test when I have had a pcr test. Mmm it's company rules yet dosnt state this on website. So had a meal in the restaurant the stake was full of gristle horrible.the grilled tomato looked like it had been warmed up on a kettle. Absolutely disgracefully service.

Well done P&O in the end
Initially our June 2020 crossing cancellation due to Covid was all bad from P&O. They would not refund, insisted on a credit note and then cancelled the actual sailing anyway
On trying to rebook the actual ferry route Hull Zeebrugge had been permanently cancelled.
So far so bad. Last week a call to P&O was met with a prompt polite and efficient customer service professional. A week later our money has been returned in full.
Well done P&O in the end
Wish I could give them a minus star
Wish I could give them a minus star. Large corporate only interested in profits. No customer service or care during the COVID crisis. 7 months before I got any response from their customer service department having had to cancel a trip due to last minute COVID restrictions imposed during the summer.
Will never use them again!!

Given one star as have no choice to give none. Terrible customer service, worst I have ever had. Will be voting with my feet. Travelling with Stena Cairnryan to Belfast from now on. To long a story but just had two days stress and hassle from P & O, never again.
Doubled the price because they've got my money
I originally booked a crossing with P & O for £200. It was then postponed because of covid and a credit given to me for a future travel date, I was not allowed a refund.
I have just tried to book for this year because the credit has a expiry date even though we don't think we will be able to travel and they have doubled the price of the ticket for the same dates. I have to pay another £192 or loose my original £200.
BE WARNED THEY ARE PROFITEERING FROM THIS SITUATION WE ARE IN AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES
I am another customer that will never use them again.
P&O ferries Very Bad Avoid it if you can.
Unfriendly staff, rip of company, misleading websites and extorts money from people!. Bad services for your money!

Will not refund money despite offering Booking With Confidence during Covid- no replies to 3 emails and no way of contacting them by phone. Ive been using them for years travelling to France several times a year. Appalling .....
Missed my ferry
Missed my ferry, santander to portsmouth as got got stuck in a snow storm, not brittany ferry's fault, so spent ages driving to Calais, only to get here and P an o would rather send their Ferrys half empty rather than charge a reasonable price, they just tried to charge me £585 for Calais to dover, , thats more than a 30 hour crossing with a cabin and comfort from santander to portsmouth, and the night in question its also twice as much as i got the tunnel train for, who ever is in charge of this want sacking, the nasty unhelpful lazy french garlic munchers at the booking desk were ignorant and horrible to deal with , i hope they go bust, greedy, greedy fools incharge of this company , sack the clown in charge
No point in going through what my…
No point in going through what my problem was. All I will say is if you are travelling from cairnryan to larne/Belfast use Stena line to avoid the shambles of P&O.
Scam
I am saddened to have to give a bad review to P&O as I have used them many times over the years however I booked a ferry for last summer return and was promised when booking it £40 fuel cashback, on my return I went through the steps required and never received it, I have sent numerous messages to them, them telling me it done through a 3rd party company who I have tried to contact over and over again. no replies to e-mails and just an automated message on their phone that disconnects after the message. P&O are now ignoring my e-mails. I you can't respect what you have offered for these bookings, perhaps never offer it in the first place. Will be avoiding using P&O in the future and would recommend you do the same as it seems I like many have fallen for their little scam.
No mandatory face mask coverings
I have never any fault with P&O before but on Larne - Cairnryan ferry and got myself a seat in the bar area. All seating areas taken up by different groups travelling and even though tannoy said it was mandatory to wear a face mask/covering I could count out of approx 30-40 adults, 15 adults not wearing masks and only about 5 or 6 were eating or drinking. No questions were asked of this and made me and my partner highly uncomfortable as stuck indoors with these people for next 2 hours. We have moved to a quieter (although more uncomfortable) section of the ferry to try and remove ourself from the situation! More questions should be asked to ensure everyone who can wear a mask is wearing one!
