I have contacted customer service and got no where. If I bought coins to watch more episodes they would take the the 1 coin it said you were to pay to watch the episode then you come back the next day and all of your coins were gone. Most recently like others have stated, the writers are going off in strange directions. They have lost the characters that first got me interested.

Pocket FM are becoming a con artist. I was listening to "Saving Nora" (the old version), and suddenly it was removed from my library. I have been trying to search for it for more than a month now but instead, it kept showing me the new version by C. Wong.... Mind you, I was already on episode 930 plus on the old version... with the new version, I have to start unlocking again at episode 156. I paid a lot to unlock it to 930 plus, but to ask me to start again is daylight robbery.
Also, they keep adding stories I don't like to my library. I kept deleting them, but they kept adding them back. I can't even subscribe; I have to buy coins to unlock episodes. You only get 1 free episode a day.
U guys can do better... if nothing is done to change this, I'm deleting this app...bet it will save me lots of money too.

I completed the offers the same as I always have and three different times they denied me the rewards there scaming people out of there time

This app is horrible! The story I listened to had so many different writers the story line and names changed! The writer got names mixed up, family members were deleted and last names changed and went back in the middle of a episode. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!!!

They offer a free episode if you will watch 8 ads . Sure , fine I'll watch 8 ads .
Well by 8 they 16 . And don't get caught up in the surveys . I'll get halfway through and it will decide I'm not a match after spending 10 or more minutes answering questions

After paying a bunch of coins, watching ads & purchasing coins, I really got into only 1 story....I watched 644 episodes & now I have to wait again cause episode #645 is coming soon??? When??? I will wait a few more days ,if they are NOT loaded yet, I will delete POCKET FM & write a ton of bad reviews!!!

Supposedly their system had a mess up and put a coin package out and I purchased it multiple times then they realized their mess up, supposedly and took all my coins back and refunded my money, which is utter incomplete b. S, and they gave me a whopping 200 coins when I had over 5000 coins. Needless to say they don't care about their customers and will rip you off the first chance of yet, even if you're one of their highest members.\n Like platinum?\n And have a listening streak of over 240 days. Straight

Cheating you out of 'coins' and virtually no support.
I was lured into one of their stories and decided to purchase coins to finish the book. I took advantage of an offer an was awarded 440 coins. After a couple of days their system advised that I was down to 1 but their Activity Log shows I only used around 30. I contacted support and was handled by a bot who raised a ticket. That was a couple of days ago and, guess what, no response from a real person AND no coins added to my account.

Avoid using and look for another provider.

UPDATE 22Dec Contacted them through email listed on Google play and was given a ticket. Next day I received an email advising matter was resolved. It wasn't resolved at all as still no coins added to my account and no refund from them. Will try emailing again!
UPDATE 5JAN 26 During the Xmas break, they completely wiped my payment and history. They agree that they've received my payment and that I should have a total of 440 coins but still no coins added to my account. I've emailed AGAIN today and asked why they've wiped my account. I am getting extremely frustrated with this company and their support (or lack of!).

Do not use pocket FM! It’s very expensive. Customer service is nonexistent! And free episodes for watching is a SCAM!!

Ninty percent of the stories are built on physical and mental abuse, the male characters are mostly simps or overbearing, and the females are bearches or abusive 304s that can't keep their hands or opinions to themselves, all the of them are way too costly, with very poor written skills presented, and the fact that it seems like a scam of an app hasn't been lost on me considering it comes out of India,which is known as the land of scams.

They get you into the story then once hooked you need to purchase "Coin" to continue listening but you have no idea whatsoever how much it will cost to finish the story. Or you can watch some terrible adds that will supposedly allow you to listen to one more episode of the story but often doesn't. However which ever you do the software often starts the story from the very beginning again for no reason except to make you pay more or watch more terrible adds that you can't switch off easily and still won't give you access to the story.

I admit, some of the stories are interesting —> BUT THAT'S HOW THEY LURE YOU IN! SOON, they cut the number of FREE episodes to only TWO PER DAY in a scheme to get you to PAY FOR MORE! THEN, the app starts CHEATING YOU by dangling so called 'FREE EPIODES' in front of you, saying "Oh, just watch a few ADS and we'll give you ONE FOR FREE". BUT MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, YOU'VE JUST WASTED TEN MINUTES OF YOUR LIFE ONLY TO BE TOLD YOU DON'T QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER EPISODE!

DO NOT USE THIS APP UNTIL THE PRICING COMES DOWN. They should have a subscription service for books. The books I’ve listened to have been good but they changed the price of getting episodes to a standard 9 coins per episode whether the episode is 4 minutes or 15 minutes long. They used to have discounted episodes so you could still listen to a few chapters a day of the book you are enjoying and not be to expensive. Change pricing and I change my review.

Paid for a series they marked as if I didn't paid for series a month later

I only gave 1* because I couldn't give 0!!!

I have been robbed. I purchased coins, calculating I should have received 15 episodes and I only got 8.

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
NO RECORD ON THE APP OF WHAT I BOUGHT AND SPENT

AVOID COMPLETELY!!

Although I am enjoying the story I have bought coins twice and nothing has downloaded. I am very frustrated. I have contacted them but not sure the AI understood the question.

Simple stories, good format but it's extremly expensiv.

I really disliked insta millionaire, complete waste of time! The story starts off strong and catching but overtime the writer forgets about the story and it becomes into a whole different story which doesn't make sense, on the other hand, my vampire system was really good from beginning to end!

A total SCAM, do not get hooked. I have been listening to The Masked Bride, you can not buy the book up front. At the beginning you can listen to it for free. Then you have to wait 24hrs for the next couple of episodes to be released. Or you can watch adds to watch one more episode. Otherwise you have to purchase coins. I've foolishly spent over £150 only to find that you get to episode 790 only to find the book isn't finished. 😡😡😡

I had a monthly Pocket FM unlocked 2 hours per audio book per day across the platform. This worked as advertised until last month. My subscription renewed on.9-8-25. Episodes were unlocked through 9-10-25. Afterwards PocketFM stopped unlocking the episodes, even though my subscription was not set to expire until 10-08-25. I emailed them to this effect several times. I also emailed the copy of the transaction where I paid for the subscription. I only received responses that they had consolidated all of my requests, but nothing was ever done. I requested a refund for the days which they did not unlock.any episodes.,,,still no response or resulution.
