P&O Cruises Reviews 

I had saved for 18 months to go on a cruise working two jobs...it was worth every penny!!! My first cruise will not be my last! I plan to take my granddaughter in 2028 when I have saved again . There was nothing I didn't enjoy and that's the truth!! It was easy to book...I paid using the interest free monthly installments. Everything was easy from booking to embarkation..the trips...and disembarking. I loved every minute., I even got a free upgrade which absolutely made my 60th birthday all the more special.

This was our first Cruise and the Arvia and her crew provided a holiday to remember- excellent.

From the moment we boarded, our Norway fjords cruise with Ariva was everything we dreamed of and more.
The ship was comfortable, clean, and welcoming, with perfect vantage points to soak in the scenery. The crew were friendly and attentive
Onboard food was delicious and relaxing while cruising
The pace was just right — plenty of time to sit back and admire the views, plus interesting stops where we could explore and soak up the quiet beauty of Norway. It was peaceful, awe-inspiring, and perfectly organised.
If you’re thinking of seeing the fjords, I can’t recommend Ariva enough. This trip has given us memories we’ll cherish forever. A truly wonderful experience!

We had the Java suite and have cruised before but not on Arvia.
It was absolutely wonderful, the suite was luxury .The staff were very friendly and helpful. Always cheerful with a smile.
Epicurean restaurant was excellent and included for our breakfast.
Zenith restaurant was also excellent but busier as expected. However the food was amazing and the staff were very kind and generous with portions !
I cannot find anything to criticise and thank them for giving us a very special holiday.

Our trip to the Norwegian fjords on Arvia was a perfect getaway with superb food, great entertainment and unforgettable excursions. As a couple in our seventies with limited experience of cruising, we were slightly nervous of joining over 5000 other people on such a big ship. But it never felt crowded. It seemed almost miraculous that an operation of such size and complexity ran like clockwork, which is a huge tribute to the warm and friendly officers and crew.

Excellent cruise on Arvia, our first time cruising. After a day of acclimatising to the ship and the many restaurants and bars available we were able to relax and enjoy the 7 nights aboard. The ship was spotless, the food (especially in the speciality restaurants) was great and the many areas for entertainment and relaxing made the week very enjoyable. The staff were friendly, professional and hardworking. The fabulous excursions and 3 days on shore topped the whole experience off for us perfectly!

Great staff, good food, lots of activities or just chill with a drink missing it already.

A very well organised company, to travel with. And lovely ships. Was our first time cruising. And absolutely loved it. Will definitely be booking another one. A great choice of food selection for all dietary requirements. Absolutely amazing experience. Well done P&O

Just came back from our first ever cruise, going to the Norwegian Fjords on P&O cruise liner Arabia. Prior to leaving I thought I would look at some reviews on Trust Pilot for this ship and I must admit I got a bit concerned and worried as there appeared to be a lot of people complaining about queuing at bars and restaurants. Let me tell you, there are 17 bars and 19 restaurants. You can go on the P&O My Cruise app and book all your meals, including breakfasts on day one for the whole week. We did this and never had to queue for restaurants, including the Buffet. There were some small waits at the bars whilst waiting for staff to come and take you order but that was not too long. This was a 7 day cruise. The ship was immaculate, the staff were polite and courteous, the bars and restaurants were very good. My only issue was I really enjoy a sauna/steam room. The spa offers a multitude of treatments but there was no option just to visit the sauna without any treatments. It would have cost me £49 just to go for a sauna which I was not willing to pay. An option for a sauna only could be offered for a much reduced price. The £49 price I am sure would have deterred other sauna lovers of using the spa. I would have paid £20 if it was offered but alas it was not. Way too expensive. All in all we were very happy with the shop and the cruise and will likely book another one on this ship/P&O in the future

My wife and I have returned today from the fjords on arvia, absolutely beautiful ship and lots to do, I made sure I visited all your bars on board. Was on board from 6/9/26 to 13/9/26...

We recently returned from cruising the Fjords with P&O for the 4th time in 4 years, 2nd time on Arvia. The ship is absolutely amazing (once you’ve figured it out). P&O often receive a fair bit of negativity. But as always my group had an amazing time onboard.

The only negatives we experienced were, firstly, we travelled as a group and wanted to dine together a couple of times and trying to get a large table at dining seemed like a chore for the staff to try and accommodate us. When asking you could see the disappointment on the lady’s face when she had to do a bit of digging to see what was available. And insisted we had to dine at a certain time.

And secondly, the choice of activities for children outside of kids club were almost nonexistent other than the odd meet and greet with Shaun the sheep, or a build-a-bear type activity. (Our kids don’t like the kids clubs)

However the plus’ always outweigh the negatives and we will continue to cruise with P & O. Thanks again for another fantastic holiday!

Wow another amazing cryise with P&O, just when you thin they cant get any better the outdo themselves . Amazing staff at all areas, outstanding cleanliness all the time, nothing to much trouble le to ask. Food no matter where you eat on board always a very hugh standard and fresh. Destinations and choice of outings organised always great. I cant say enough great things, we have gone from cryise to cruise. What isnt to love. Different destinations to visit and no need to worry about packing and looking for hotels to be able to visit the locations. Food an choice of where to eat amazing, always friendly happy staff and nothing fos ever to much trouble. Tha k you again. For a wonderful derf stress free holiday onky criticism is, I have to diet everytime or get home, too much good good to eat. Thank you P&O, till the next cruise see you soon 😊

My first ever cruise on Arvia everything about the holiday was amazing

First cruise on Arvia and we LOVED it.
We didnt go for the drinks package and to be honest, brought our own soft drinks and kept them in the fridge in our room. Still brought costas daily though (need my cappuccinos), but they are reasonably priced. Surprised how noise proof the cabins are? Was never bothered by noises in the corridor or rooms next to ours. Slept like a dream! We didnt have a window room, but you can watch the front of the boat on the tv - so we had that on whenever we were in the room and absolutely LOVED it. The entertainment isnt really our scene and we don't drink but was happy to spend boat days in our cabin, eating at the buffet and going for a wander around the shops (though they're not particularly budget friendly). Really surprised by how good the gym was too. The pools are quite overlooked as they are in bar/seating areas which put me off going in as it feels like everyone is sat watching you. But honestly it was our favourite holiday ever, and definitely will be looking to book another cruise soon!

Also just want to add - it was my partners birthday the day we boarded and they had left a birthday card on the bed for when we got there- which was so sweet, so thank you!

The ship,Crew,And speciality Restaurants were excellent

After sailing with the P&O Brittannia recently, which we didn't really enjoy for numerous different reasons, we were very apprehensive with sailing on the Iona. However, this was a completely different experience. The ship is more modern, the staff wonderful, the entertainment really good, the food exceptional and the whole experience was tremendous. We've also sailed on several Celebrity Cruise ships and this is on par with any of them. Our butler Nygel was really helpful. Jo our waiter in the Coral Restaurant was absolutely brilliant. Our waitress in the Epicurean Restaurant Chery was very nice and our room attendant Melvin was great. Very pleased with the cruise and excursions!!

What an amazing experience i and my family had on our first time cruise. I can’t fault P&O for anything. They have made my holiday experience worth every penny. I have already booked my next holiday with them and i cant think of going anywhere else just because of the service from start to finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to book a cruise or holiday. 5stars for everything from hygiene, service, food and drinks, entertainment.

Recently on the Iona in the fjords. It was a first time cruiser and wow! What a ship! The fjords were amazing with plenty of trips but P&O were far more expensive than the local trip organisers.
Loved the evening entertainment “what the folk” were exceptional.
Food is great in most MDR’s but each person has their own opinions.
The ship is immaculate and the rooms cleaned daily. Most staff are great but some aren’t particularly when trying to get a drink.
Over all it was a great experience and will be booking again soon.

The Iona is a modern ship and is packed with all the facilities that you'd expect. The food and bar experiences are varied and the staff are excellent. We were on a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords.
